This is all in connection with BTS new Game BTS World, where basically its the year 2012 and you get to be BTS manager, so you have to recruit them and make sure they debut. All these are the characters in the game. All the songs are the soundtrack for the game.

Fun fact: Dream Glow was actually a song composed for Jimin, it was supposed to be his solo but he gave it to sing this collaboration with the others

the whole point of the mv was to emphasize that no matter what bts was destined to be bts. to what was all happening within the mv was their lives if they hadn’t auditioned and joined bts. when rm said ‘youniverse’ it implied that US(army) was their universe, it could also imply the point of their new game ‘bts world’, as the players we are their managers back in 2012 to make sure that bts is well, bts.

Actually Dream Glow was supposed to be Jimin's solo song but he gave it up and chose to sang with the brothers instead for their new game. That's why Jimin's parts are so good! But they all are!

Dream glow was supposed to be Jimin’s solo song but he decided to share it with other members. But I love “Heartbeat” so much so emotional. The Brand New Day is so different too. BTS song is hard to choose really.... love them.

The game BTS World basically takes you back to 2012, where you act as their manager to bring BTS together and help them reach superstardom. Lots of exclusive photos and videos were made for the game, and seven alternate storylines were also made to create a parallel universe as an extra game within the main game, where the seven members are shown to what they might have done if they weren't BTS, and all are coming of age stories. The music video to Heartbeat, shows the seven members leading seven different lives (as per their characters in the game) in a parallel universe, but nevertheless, their universe collides with ours, and their paths cross, leading them to become BTS. Its simply beautiful. And check out the lyrics too. Its mindblowing!!💜

It's for the game BTS World. Thier are two sections one it's 2012 and you are their manager and have to bring them together and help them debut. The other is an alternative universe where they never became BTS. But the song and video show that even in a world where they didn't become BTS they are still destined to meet and be together!

2. You can't screenshot the game, it's copyrighted, well unless you're Namjoon.
3. The Heartbeat MV tackles part of the game which is the alternate reality where Tae is a farmer, JK is an athlete, JM is a rice cake maker/dancer, Jin is a hotelier, RM is a detective/writer, Hobi is a vet and Yoongi is a composer/music student. In this reality, there is no BTS. BUT along the way, they meet up and find each other. And you the gamer has to help them debut. Because it's destiny. How powerful is that?
4. My fave track is definitely Heartbeat. I effing cried when I first heard it on the Lobby of BTS World and when the MV premiered.

it's their Alternate Universe, had not they been united to become BTS. In the first half of MV, is the possibility of their life if they weren't BTS and if they didn't found each other , still talented but their potential and personality wouldn't shine and develop as today, so it feels like they missing something in their life (other members & army) and that they weren't fully happy. And towards the end is the real universe, where they found purpose + happiness, through performing music, having other members and army by their side.
my favorite bts world soundtrack is heartbeat , btw the MV is about the game BTS World in which you wake up in year 2012 and you become their manager and have to bring them together for them to become bts , the MV is about an alternative universe and who would they be if they didn't become bts , and it's very emotional and heartwarming because the MV shows that even in that universe fate will bring them together and that they are bound to become bts eventually , so it's a very meaningful and sweet MV.

The video shows what BTS would be doing if they weren’t in BTS, yes, but in an alternate universe instead. You see Namjoon and Yoongi bump into each other but they don’t know who the other is. The video shows that no matter the universe/reality, BTS were meant to meet and be together, hence them all bumping into each other. The planets colliding at the end were the two universes colliding (the alternate one and the real one). It’s definitely a beautiful message!!
