BTS World is a mobile app game. All of the scenes are from the game. The game has two main parts. The first sends you back in time to become a manager at Big Hit. You have to convince each of the members to sign with the company and become BTS. Then you have to continue to manage the group, trying to get them back to where they were before you were sent back in time. The second part is where most of these scenes come from. It shows the members as who and what they would be if they never became idols. You're right that Tae was on a farm, so he's shown as a farmer. J-Hope is a veterinary assistant. JK is a high school student, part of a martial arts club that's going to be disbanded. Yoongi is at a fine arts school, but with crippling stage fright, unable to perform. Jimin is torn between a dance crew that he loves and working in his grandmother's rice cake shop. He can't do both. J-Hope has been told that he has to euthanize the dog or he can not continue with his schooling. V has been left in charge of the family farm but has no clue how to grow the crops. Jin works as an intern at a hotel and has to complete the internship or his father will sell the family hotel. He's dealing with a guest that is known for getting hotel employees fired. RM is a computer hacker that befriends a little girl in his neighborhood. She gets kidnapped by a serial killer and RM works with the police, trying desperately to find her before it's too late. So, you were kind of right...Yes, about their journey, but then the alternate universe is what would have happened if they were never BTS.
@@AmariLeone Those alternate story lines are actually my favorite part of the game. As the player, you are supposed to try and find a way to integrate yourself into each of their lives to help them resolve the issues that they are dealing with and eventually bring them all together. And, yes, they can be intense. Especially RM's.
Thankyou. I somewhat managed to pick some stories and I understood that it was an alternate reality if they wouldn´t become BTS but I didn´t pick all the stories. I will see the video again!
The idea behind this song/music video is that they are always, always destined to be together. It depicts a universe where they don't meet, don't know each other, and what their lives would be like if they'd never been BTS. But ultimately their universes collide because they are always destined to meet. :)
I fee lik we are raising the bar so high for 134340. But it's a masterpiece so I'm not worried for it. Put the bar on Pluto itself, the song will be up there
Also, none of them were trainees at other companies. BigHit was their only company. Hobi did a competition at JYP (and won) but didn't sign with them or anything. Jungkook was invited to join several other companies but chose BigHit and Jin was scouted on the street by SM but didn't think it was legitimate so didn't follow up. j-hope was the first to sign with BigHit as a trainee after his dance company CEO introduced him to Bang PD, then a rapper recommended RM to Bang PD and he was signed and Bang PD decided to build BTS around him. Suga competed in a competition at BigHit and came in second and was signed and added to the BTS lineup. Then about a month after that, j-hope was pulled from the BigHit trainee pool to be the third member of the group. Then a number of other rappers were brought in for the group (Supreme Boi, Iron, E11evn), but they ultimately cycled out and RM, Suga, and j-hope performed as a rap trio called BTS (even made the news with their satoori rap Paldogangsan--the performance V credits for encouraging him to join BigHit). Eventually Bang PD decided to make BTS an idol group and started bringing in vocalists and visuals and more dancers. Jin and Jungkook signed their contracts within days of each other (I think ONE day, actually, and they argue about who was first but it seems to land on Jin most often because he signed first even though Jungkook moved into the dorm first). Anyway, Jin was cast on the street for his good looks, Jungkook was found through an audition program (kind of like X Factor). He didn't make it past auditions but companies saw his talent and wanted him and he chose BTS because of RM. Then V audition in Daegu and made it and then Jimin auditioned at the recommendation of his dance teacher and the lineup was complete! None of the intro videos get it exactly right. Hobi seems to be the most frequently incorrect though he doesn't talk about himself much so you really have to dig into old interviews and vlives and external accounts to piece it together. There is an album for this. BTS made an OST album for their BTS World game! Collabs with JuiceWRLD, Charli XCX, and Zara Larsen, and lots of instrumental/orchestral songs as well are on the album. This MV is showing what the boys would maybe be doing if they weren't BTS. This is one of my fav BTS songs ever... so far. 💜 Hahaha! 134340 is the space map address for Pluto.
I saw there was a whole OST album when I went to Spotify to listen to this after. Pretty cool, didn't even know they had a song with Juice! Also oooooooh pluto's address okay that explains the "bunch of numbers song" lol.
this is about destiny, some clips show them in the alternate world living basic lives. as the universe collides they are all united to be what they are meant to be, 'bts'. in interviews and over the years the members have stated that it was 'destiny that brought them all together as one.
absolutely nailed that interpretation! They show what might have happened if the members wouldn't have become bts members and how destiny draws them together no matter what. I love this song a lot, it's so beautiful
This song, along with Paradise and Louder Than Bombs, is one of ARMY'S favorite songs that we would most like to see performed live but has been soundly forgotten by the guys, lol. Like..we joke that they've literally forgotten this song exists. We requested for JK to sing it on a vlive and he was like, "Heartbeat? We have a song called Heartbeat?" and had to actually type it into a search to figure out what we were asking for 🤦♀️
The whole "see you again when we first met in 2012" is basically the game's selling point. You get to travel back in time and meet then when they were meeting each other for the first time. The game makes a big disclaimer that "this story is not 100% accurate to reality and we took some artistic liberties here and there" but it's still an emotional journey watching them (well, their game version) grow and become the BTS they are now
I think that selling point was especially effective with the people that became army at any point after their debut (the later that point, the more compelling the game) because we all "wish we were there from the beginning" and this was giving us that exact opportunity, the second best option besides literal time travel
This song is like Top 3 most emotional for me. The idea is that, if they hadn't become BTS, they would have gone on to do other things like be a piano player for events or a concierge or a baker or a vet but they would have felt this longing, this yearning for BTS, for ARMY, for each other because they were always meant to be together, with us, as BTS. It was the design of the universe, destiny and if it had gone any other way--if any of the millions of other paths had ended up becoming reality--they all would have known that something wasn't right. They would have felt the pull of the lives they were supposed to lead as BTS. I'm an atheist--as a-spiritual as they come--but I believe THAT. The entirety of the universe's movements from its origin on have worked to bring BTS into the world. As much as anything in this world amounts to fate, those 7 boys coming together to be BTS does.

Yeah in the game you start with Bighit having just finalised the BTS line up that would debut (in 2012) and your goal is to get BTS to debut successfully by completing a bunch of task and leveling up the members (or something like that, didn't play it for that long). IIRC each member also has a side story quest where it's the alternative universe and the lives they might have lived if they never joined BTS and if you successfully complete side quests you get some sort of rewards that will help you with the main story line? ARMY don't kill me if I'm wrong it's been a while lol. Also there are more main songs that comprise the OST album and it's all sub-units in collab with a western artist. Dream Glow - Jin,Jimin, Jungook and Charlie XCX A brand new day - jhope, V and Zara Larsson All night - SUGA, RM and Juice WRLD The rest of the album is instrumental songs that serve as the theme song for each member (Like Kurosaki Ichigo's theme in Bleach is Number 1)

Funny thing is BTS World is an album/Ost and it's pretty awesome with some neat collabs! BTS World is a little app game where in alternate universes, in one mode the members never become BTS and have various storylines of what they may have become (with added dramas) and in the other mode, the player gets to act as their manager and go through a run down of their history from pre-debut to recent years (I think Grammy performance was roughly the end?) Everything is loosely inspired by their true history and as for the paths they may have taken had they not become BTS is of course a bit more fantastical.
So the video is made up of snippets of various "cutscenes" within the game, and the worlds colliding is to symbolise worlds smashing together (ARMY's and BTS's, kinda - also the members will meet each other in the "what if" worlds too). The game itself is a common kpop type game where you just collect members cards through blind packs, and using the stats of the cards to progress the stories - so not much of a game as such, in case you were considering checking it out lol just warning you.
If anyone wanted specifics: RM - a writer who writes crime mystery novels, but then ends up attempting to solve a real life kidnapping (basically Heavy Rain story) Jin - a hotelier newbie, attempting not to get fired and helping one temperamental kid Yoongi - Pianist that has a fear of performing live, attempting to compete in some piano competition Hobi - Vet trainee that couldn't bring himself to perform surgery on this dog in class Jimin - learning to make mochi from his elderly grandma and trying to be in a competitive dance crew at the same time Tae - lazy son forced to take over the family farm for a while JK - due to an incident became afraid to compete in Taekwondo, but was roped back in to save the club In all these storylines, you become a friend who tries to help them in the journey
Funniest thing is that this is a fan favourite and when a fan requested JK sing it during his impromptu vlive karaoke, he did not recognize the name of the song. We still have memes of his confused face.
If you think it's about a boy and girl love like most of people did on "Outro Tear" at first then yes I agree this song is far to dramatic to the point it can be called "cute"(because it seems like a naive love). But as you digging in you will realize they are actually talking to us the ARMY. They recognize that we the "ARMY" has given them a new life and given their shine they been craving for(obviously no small part on their own dedication and hardwork), they know we are the ones who designate they are the best and we back it up with our actions. They've start basically all reward acceptance with mention of ARMY and now we are now often part of their verse. This is not a cute throw away rhyme or bar, it's a f*king promise and a statement they have lived by ever since the song was made. Zero hate to you man just want to let out some of my own frustration. Keep diving into the rabbit hole and much love to you giving them a chance 💜💜💜

Hobi does have a dog. A little thing whose breed I could not tell you but he was a rescue so he might be a mutt, named Mickey. He's really old and really small and Hobi and his family like to put little accessories in his hair. haha. Needless to say, it is not the dog here.
I really thought you would love this video. The concept of the game is really great as you play as their manager but the music is totally awesome there is an entire album of music and especially collabs are great for this game. Hobi was training with another company and was RM, don't remember which. You did pretty good with just trying to figure it out from the video. ❤🔥

RM is a novelist in the alternate universe, which makes the whole "working with the police to rescue a kidnapped kid" even more intense
