Hi from Colombia, first thanks for sharing your knowledge, it's really helpful. on other hand, i wanna ask you something, could do you share your Word document with your instructions?
Hi this is a great tutorial. However, I still have confusion regarding the urban heat line? How did you derive it? Is there any scientifical explanation?
Yes..the line over the pixels are extracted the each pixel values to represent a from of graphical representation.wher x axis show the pixels and y axis show the lst value of the pixels.and it show like an island.it means that the heat is greater in urban area rest of the edge part of the other area.
Thanks alot for this video. Can you please share the heat Island Line? I would be grateful to you. Secondly, if heat island line will be same for different area?
how did to make the urban heat island line and how can we make built up area ? can you please elaborate the graph generation . also may i email you if i have any further query ?
For the first one..the heat island line..try to understand the basic things.what we are looking for, we are looking for a graph that like a island. And if i draw a line over the high heat area (most of the cases a city) then you see that city area is more heatable instead of the surrounding part.and you got a island shaped curved graph to represent that.is it work for you? If not don't hesitate to ask me.
Thank you for your video. I am sorry but what was the shape file of heat Island that you added in arc gis. how am I supposed to find or create it? can you please give me some details about it?
This is suitable for landsat 8 satellite its not mentioned in video. If you applied same technique over other landsat satellite image you will get wrong results using this technique🙏🙏
Hello sir , can you please share the contact details , i have multiple doubts regarding the map generation.I am writting thesis on UHI , so it may be helpful for me.
@@vidhisharma5859 Hi Thanks for the interest. You can get direct Land Surface Temperature and Emissivity data (MOD11). I don't think that you need the process like Landsat-8 derived LST. But you can use the same process to generate the heat line graph. If need any other words from me, please feel free to ask me.

Thank you so much it work on my data i was trying to find lst from last 3 days but i got many error in my data finally i got my lst
Lovely 😍😍😍😍
which landsat product? 4,5,7,8?
Excelent instructions. FRom what website can data for such analysis can be downloaded from please?

Thanks so much for your sharing. Are the numeric values here standard? Is it applicable for every region of the world?
Yes. Same numeric values can be used in any part of the world, for landsat 8 imagery.
Is this for level 1 products or level 2?
Hello Sir, this tutorial is very informative. But I would like to know the output is for urban heat island or land surface temperature. Kindly, reply
Yes, email me
Hi sir may i get your email ?
very nice. Would you please guide me for surface profile method.
Yes..i will try
Thanks alot for this video.
Can you please share the heat Island Line? I would be grateful to you.

Can you make tutorial for Land surface temp , land cover and hotspots for Delhi
Yes.why not

@@subhankarnaskar8827 yus i understand a little .i will try it out first .thanks a lot sir , really helped me .
Hello and what Landsat collection and tier did u use?
Thank you for your video. I am sorry but what was the shape file of heat Island that you added in arc gis. how am I supposed to find or create it? can you please give me some details about it?
Please uplod the video hyperspectral image classification
Very very nice :) thank u

Yes..thank you sir.
Sir please help in calculating various indices like Shannon and shipshon index from arc gis. Sir please help
Where you from?
Can we find urban heat of any area????
Depend on availability of data.sentinel3 gives you LST data world wide.thankyou
HI can you explain how you took built up points

@@subhankarnaskar8827 sir can we do the same to generate UHI with MODIS data. i'm currently researching on urban heat islant in bathinda punjab

What was that heat island line
It represent as a cross section frofile showing pixel values.
@@subhankarnaskar8827 how should I take it you have not shown in the video...in different section of the map to calculate the frequency of heat?
