The way I took the comatose state in the video and him being there for 50 or so years checking on her was a bit different. He kept saying why did you have to get so old. So I think he was saying that together they felt young but at that stage in their life when she dropped down they were both already older adults but he couldn’t see them like that, because she made him feel so youthful and happy. The letters were probably representing letters from their kids or some sort of relatives.
I never saw it as her in a comma I saw it as her having dementia and imagining herself younger. And he was able to make her lucid with his touch.

I'm obsessed with this band right now, and I would have seen them live by now if not for the pandemic. Also, I think the acoustic version makes me even more emotional.

The young lady in the video is Josh's ex-girlfriend Jess Origiliasso from The Veronicas. Badflower are playing in my town of Brisbane (where The Veronicas hail from) in August, and I'm going to see them. Josh is a cool dude! :-)

Amazing album and band. This is my least favorite song on the album and still good. You might like heroine or ghost by them.
