I thought Max Reger was the best in this type of music and he is, but this music of Peter Cornelius touches my heart...
What an unjustly overlooked masterpiece. Like most works of Cornelius. And what a wonderful, flawless performnace. Thanks for posting this.
The problem is if you search for "Peter Cornelius" here on UA-cam, there's a high chance you'll be inundated with pop songs by his Austrian namesake.
