I really like this pattern. I'm working on it right now. I have such thick hair that nothing holds it. My mother used to gripe that my hair is so thick. It doesn't hold a curl at all and I practically have to SHELLAC it to get it to stay in place. I gave up on short hair because I was having to use so much hair spray to get it to stay in place. So, thanks for posting this. I'll look for other head wraps. They also help ease my migraines.

Great head wrap question, approximately how many yards of #4 yarn does it take to complete the project? Very important because I want to use cotton #4 yarn and there’s not much yarn per ball. Thank so much.
Good morning, I’ve only used acrylic yarn and it takes about 350 yarns. Cotton I would suggest around 370 because cotton usually doesn’t stretch. Thanks for watching 🤗

Make less starting chains, instead of 163 only chain 143 and for smaller children anywhere from like 3 to 5yrs make only 123 starting chain. and yes instead of a N hook 9.00mm use a J hook 6.00mm. Thank you so much for watching.
