Gold Bug Mine Trail, Arizona

Our little group of Las Vegas explorers didn't actually get to the mine but was on a trail associated with the mine. I think they should've called this part of the trail, "Hairs on Neck Stands Up". Not only was it a gnarly trail but to make things scary, one side of it is a steep drop cliff, and the trail is off camber in a few spots. So, if you're going down hill as we were, you'd be off camber on your right which means, when you look out your window, you're staring at a steep drop on the immediate left. And to make it even hairier, some spots have v-notches on the left. So every now and then, I’d feel the back of my truck slide a little towards the cliff.
This is the part 2 video of our Arizona trip. Part 1 was the Maggie Slot Canyon trail which we did before driving to get to Gold Bug. Our last trail for 2023!

You’re welcome Paul. We really had ourselves quite a safari. Didn’t we. First the very narrow curves at Maggie Slot Canyon then, the narrow winding trail with major desert striping on the way to Gold Bug’s mountainside cliff descent. What an epic ending for year 2023. So, thank you guys for having me ride along.
