Installing Recaro SPG Seats into the 3SGE Beams Corolla

Short installation video of my Recaro FIA SPG seat from Puristmod. They were the cheapest vendor online that had the seats in stock. Ordered Monday and arrived Thursday. Super quick and easy to deal with Dustin.

The side mounts are from GarageStar (RIP company). Seems like they had a falling out from their supplier or just couldn't catch up on orders so they shut down. Their seat mounts sit tall people really low and far back. If you have a cusco bolt in cage like I do, your helmet would hit the cage if you had a bottom mount slider with rails. So far, the lowest seats with side mounts I've sat that won't hit the cage are Recaro and Bride seats. Corbeau FX1 definitely is not low enough unless you took the paddings out. Test sat in a friends Recaro SPG and they were a perfect snug fit for me. Also sat in Recaro Pole Positions and they were more comfortable but a bit too roomy. For reference I'm 5'6'' and 170 lbs with a 32/33'' waist.
