- The Hamilton Tiger-Cats defeat the BC Lions 32-29 in overtime. QB Bo Levi Mitchell led the way with 315 passing yards and 2 passing TDS. Catch all the best moments from tonight's exciting contest here!
At 9:50 in the video, BC 21 - Ron Kent - can clearly be seen to have his right hand fully inside Hamilton's Brendan O'Leary-Orange's (#4) shoulder pads where the two sides are laced together at the front, and which gives Kent the leverage he needs to actively pull O'Leary-Orange down, preventing him from climbing the ladder to the ball with both arms. If you haven't played football, you may not know how much leverage Kent gets by placing his hand where he did. Notice that the Field Judge is standing behind both men by the End Zone corner marker, and so can't see what's going on, resulting in his call of an incomplete pass. Further, Kent's body is largely in front of O'Leary-Orange, so the other officials who are not in the End Zone can't see what's going on. Further, Kent's tug on the shoulder pads happens so fast (2 seconds) that the infraction is not detected. When I first looked at the play, I missed it and thought BC had been robbed of the victory. But then I thought - wait! These guys in the command centre are not dummies. If they got this wrong, there would be h**l to pay in Vancouver come Monday morning. So I went back and slowed my video playback down to 25%. If you look at the slo-mo replay with your own video at 25%, Kent's right hand is on the shoulder pads at 9:46 and he's still holding on at 9:51. The infraction was very apparent. Good job CFL!

Pass interference in the endzone was the RIGHT call... Had a hand on him, couldn't get all the way up, couldn't get both hands on the ball... No impedement, good chance he makes that catch...

He has been biased against the Ti-Cats since he joined the broadcast booth. If the Cats win it was because of bad calls or the opposition blew it. If the Cats lose it's because the other team was far more superior.

Nice to see Hamilton finally getting the bounces going their way after losing a handful of one score games this year and last year also. These 4 straight near one score games have balanced the team back out to where they should have been standings wise since the season started. Fighting for a spot, but not a basement team either

Chris Jones coming in has changed how this defense plays. Some big 2 and outs this game and last game against the Argos for our defense. Add to that the incredible play from Bo and we are firing on all cylinders!

Watch the blocking and effort of the front five of the Lions. Make one block and quit ("I did my job behaviour") vs other teams front five and continued blocking and involved in the play until the whistle blows.
Rourke aint it. VA deserves a beter dael than this.
I keep thinking he is going to wake up and start playing like he did two years ago. There is still time for that to happen. I don't think VA gives them a better chance, he was playing poorly before the injury.

LOL at about 2 mins 10 secs 3 Ti-Cats are there to sack the QB for over a 15 yard loss, yet they barely touch him, let alone actually make a succssful tackle. Then at 3.20 a Ti-Cat has the QB in his grasp, tries to throw him to the ground, but just lets him go and he runs for 20 yards. Yet they still won!
16-0 at halftime and this is how it ends? Yikes! Curse of the team that hosts the Grey Cup? Idk but I don't like the Lions chances of being in the Finals after this. Two weeks off might be a variable but still, can't make excuses.

Sorry, my friend total pass interference in the end zone. He had his hands on them before the ball got there. He may not have grabbed him or pulled him back, but he certainly got his hands up there and interfered long enough for the receiver not being able to catch the ball.
