Definitely would love to see Morgan more. She's an interesting player to me...6 foot 2 and can knock down 3s, drive, pass and defend/steal. She's earned more mins 💯
It's not like El Alfy is exactly lighting it up either. If UConn is lucky enough to get Griffin back, then I think that both Brady and El Alfy could see very limited minutes through the rest of the season.
El Alfy has played 10 college games after being out 15+ months with an achilles. Brady has had a full year back already and almost 40+ college games. El Alfy actually is playing better, though you're right neither is lighting up A player with 4x as many games should be much further ahead.
I thought she was improving markedly, though I don't get to watch a lot of the full games. Glad you brought out those numbers. Jana is becoming what I knew she would, and Morgan is really a smart and athletic player. Good take. Only time will tell as they say.
Post play is the most glaring weakness on this uconn team. They don’t seem to even try to run plays to get them the ball. Why bother having Ice or jana out there when they don’t get the rebounds and miss their layups? Might as well put Sarah under the basket and bring in Morgan or KK
I think El Alfy will develop and be a major contributor come March. I hope Ice during January games against the big East she will find what her game is.
I would try to develop Jana El Alfy. I would teach her to have a "skyhook" like Lew Alcindor/Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Picture El Alfy getting her opponent under the rim, they pass her the ball and she dribbles once on the floor and does her "skyhook", banking off the glass into the rim. The only way to defend that would be to foul her. The other area you must work on is reducing El Alfy's fouls.
Ice needs to come off the bench clearly she is not ready yet. Yes Jana still improving but she needs more minutes because shes better rebounder. I think when everyone healthy their lineup should be Paige, Azzi, Sarah, Aubrey/ Kaitlyn , and Jana
Ice isn’t a 5 and Jana isn’t ready. I think Morgan - who is a great Bird- like player - and Aubrey will play more. Ice has no identity because she is tweener who isn’t hitting her shots and isn’t a gifted rebounder or defender. Given that UConn isn’t shooting well as a team ( surprisingly) , I cannot see Ice staying on the floor. Cheli is actually the best option until AG returns ( AG cutting and Strong passing is going to be magic btw).
Your assessments of both Brady and El Alfy are accurate IMO, but Chieli is not interchangeable with either of them. Just like page played some 4 last season, that's not who she really is. She's just versatile enough. Brady can post up or take another big to the hoop when she's on her game. Chieli can't do that.
@ Huskies aren’t yet as good at 3 point shooting or free throws as their level of talent would suggest. The team gets plenty of open looks in this offense. Iowa State saw firsthand just how much that can hurt if Huskies are shooting well; however, that is the first game we have really seen them stopping and popping at all 3 levels. 3’s are an accelerant as we saw against Iowa State. I am sure team is coming around and cine more consistent. A healthy Azzi would be a big help, obviously. Similarly, Ice needs to hit that 17 footer. I am sure she will but it hasn’t happened yet.
@ Cheli can make a big come out and guard her. Plus she has always been a good rebounder. Right now, Ice’s shot isn’t falling and her back to basket play is just okay. I think Ice still start every game. I just believe that with Patterson gone, Geno may go small a few times a game. In a small lineup, Strong can go anywhere, and so can Cheli because both can shoot from deep as well as post up or drive aggressively to the hoop.
Losing out on Beers is devastating. Jana is taking longer to adjust and Ice is just too soft. Might as well play small ball again with Strong at the 5 and Mo at the 4. Jana and Ice will be cooked by Audi tonight.
If UConn runs the ball all game, Audi will fade even faster than she did against Iowa. She's good, but endurance at her size is limited. UConn will win, too many good players.
Ice played great at the end of last year, she needs to use her strength to box out underneath and fake one way then drive to the basket again using a head fake before laying it in. She just needs to get in sync. She’s a tremendous athlete overall and her strong defense typically fuels her offense. Basketball 🏀
It’s kind of amazing how we both think alike when it comes UCONN players. I’ve had enough of Ice Brady and hope she transfers out in summer bc she is hurting UCONN. I don’t see Ice turning it around bc she doesn’t wanna to do what’s required of her in the paint. Morgan Cheli will be ahead of her in no time bc of her desire to adjust and do what’s the team needs. We have to get Janna El Alfy and Morgan Cheli on a fast track to being regular starters. Just being a nice kid is not enough.
Kind of harsh. Players don't recruit and develop themselves. If fans are this down on a rotation player, one can only imagine their distaste for Ayanna Patterson, who's made Joel Emid look like Cal Ripken Jr in comparison. The problem wasn't Brady vs ND. It was the lack of quickness from the guards save KK Arnold. Even Azzi isn't really quick defensively.
Again…another unnecessary concern regarding Ice. Ice will be fine. Any issues she is having are correctable. Stop setting this culture that pushes kids to transfer just because YOU, A FAN don’t like how they play. Last I checked, Ice is still starting. Does she need to rebound better…YES. Does she need to play with more force…YES. These are correctable. There’s a reason she starts right now and it’s not because Geno actually cares what you fickle fans think. He knows his players and most importantly, he has depth this year. He could start any lineup based on the match up. 🤷🏾♂️
@@Kenjayfan55Ayanna Patterson was way better than ice and yet didn’t get as much grace as ice did last year. She’s just been unlucky but if she was healthy ice would be getting 5mins a game
@@JayGHDTTP exactly. I remember last year she stepped up during the tournament in crucial moments when I had no expectation of her to do that.I have no problem with people having large expectations for players on a UConn team and you kind of ask for this kind of criticism by signing, but she still has time left this season. this team is very underdeveloped in general. people are just getting antsy and angry because they know it's paige's last year and they're desperate for that national championship. this "transfer when things don't look perfect immediately" concept is part of the reason people say these sports at the collegiate level and the reason why people loved it is dying.
@@bennybenson5 What are you talking about??? Ice didn’t play her true freshman year due to injury and Ayanna was average at best that year. Ayanna hasn’t played the last two years. No one knows what she can actually do. Again, another piss poor comparison. 🤦🏿♂️
Ice can do it . DeBerry went to Maryland and is not a starter , so UConn needs post players moving forward - Big East is not that strong to challenge UConn , but can build some confidence with playing time .
March? Paige, Azzi, Aubrey (where is she ????), Sarah and ____________? Small or big depending on whose playing well and what is best defensively. Ash, Kaitlyn, KK, Morgan, Ice and Jana all in the mix for the 5th spot and whoever is scoring well get more minutes. Remember, more times than not, the 5th player will be wide open most of the time. Allie and Q are now long shots and will only have a chance to play if they show some flashy energy in practice sessions. All that said, PLEASE play Paige and Sarah on the same side of the court. It will be impossible for anyone to stop them.
Ice looks leaner this year but struggling for sure. I still am having trouble seeing much drive from El Alfy, she looks slow and aimless out there. She needs to get something going in the post. Morgan is really looking strong. Too, I am worried that Fudd is going to be a bust - I hope to god I am wrong because she is sensational.
@edwinwong5517 You're not the only one who prays. Hopefully, she's praying right along with you. And you're speaking to someone who knows deeply all too well about prayers. And I certainly don't dream. But visions straight from God I've seen an abundance.
This is what competition and having a bench looks like. Something we have not had for a while . A lot goes on at practice that we don't see. That's where you earn your playing time.
IB seems to have no appetite to box out and battle for rebounds. Combine the lack of rebounds with an uncanny inability to score in the paint and it adds up to a liability. Some kids are just not comfortable with physical play. JEA does seem more comfy with physical play, but also can’t seem to make a layup to save her life. In contrast MC brings positive energy on both ends and is a clear scoring threat.
Geno seemed pretty frustrated with Jana too during the Georgetown game. I thought she would be starting by now. Geno raved about her during the offseason.
Jana is literally 8 games into her freshman season. You have to give these international kids time to adjust to the US college game. It’s much different than the FIBA/European game. Nika went through the same growing pains & adjustment period. You see how well she turned out.
I just wish Shade could be as productive in big games as she was last night vs Iowa State. Iowa State is a below average team though. Are you gonna do a USC vs UCONN preview. I’m worried that we are gonna get hammered like we kinda did vs ND.
yep going to take a look at UConn vs USC. Trying to see if JuJu is playing. As well, still can't see what Kennedy Smith's injury is. that is a big loss for USC. As they are now having to play Heckle and Samuels to much. Smith and JuJu as a one , two was going to be a problem as they team is so long and athletic. Took a lot of S... on the last video about Ice. it is good that fans are still behind her. I really want the best for Ice but got to say that don't trust her and Shade in big big games. Hopefully I am wrong. But you can see Geno is looking to alternate Ice and El Alfy. but as well the plan is to give them the hook and play small with Sarah at the 5 and Morgan at the 4. or use that line up in burst to see if can get quick burst of points. With Shade that is the question for me is how will she do vs SC and Tennessee.
If she finished her career as a bench player, there is no shame in that. She will get time in the easier games but maybe not in the big games. Geno might choose to develop Morgan and Jana. It's hard to know. I don't think she is Amari. I think that was a practice issue with Amari. I think Ice works at practice from what Geno says anyway. Nobody really knows what goes on behind the scenes. I really like Morgan and Jana though and would like to see these players start at times.
People forget that morgan, jana and ice play different position, morgan is a guard/forward but ice is a true forward and Jana is a centre they don’t all do the same thing.
Why wouldn't he want Audi. I don't think that's a knock on Ice. But, let's face it. Ice isn't consistent. You never know what you're going to get and that's not a good quality; especially at this point. She knows the system now. She knows what's expected of her, and if she can't deliver, for whatever reason, she'll be benched. Perhaps she might need a team where the pressure to win isn't as great as it is at UConn.
Ice has little footwork, gives up turnovers, and cannot hit a percentage. It’s sad but true. We desperately need Aubrey. We need Azzi to be the three pointer we know she is. Takes the pressure off Paige and Sarah. Morgan needs more time in the game.
Azzi is more than a 3-point shooter tho. She has the pull up jumper and can get in there and hit it off backboard. And plays good defense all when she's healthy tho 🙏🏾
It is not just Brady but Jana seems to be struggling also. After a recent game interview Geno made a comment that Paige needs more help. More than a few UA-camrs destroyed him making comments like he threw the rest of the team under the bus. The combined points from both Jana and Ice are around 6 - 8 points total. Edwards averaged around 17 points per game and roughly 9 rebounds. So the "bigs" this year are definitely lacking in production. I was at the game against Georgetown and watched Jana grab an offensive rebound down low and rather than put it right back up she decided to dribble to the right side got double teamed and missed the shot. Between her and Ice they have to start getting more point production.
Yes they will because she's not working hard enough in the paint and still making the mistake of trying to shoot a fall away when she should be attacking towards the goal with her shot and possibly drawing the foul with her attempt and she the fall away isn't working for her anyway
I don't want to take anything away from UConn's performance, but Iowa State, IMHO has been the biggest disappointment of any team in the country. Every time Iowa State has played a good team, they've gotten blown out.
Doesn't Jana have a surgery due which will be season ending? (If she decides to go through with it this year). Or is that another player? I think she will develop into a good player and she's already showing glimpses of it so I wouldn't wanna lose her. Ngl I always thought Jana>Ice
I was at Georgetown and Iowa in NY, and you could see the players' body language in real time. I was chatting it up with some UCONN fans about the post-play or lack thereof, and we agreed that bad footwork and basketball IQ are hurting the team. Morgan seems to want it more than Ice and Jana. Why is Caroline taking up space? She will never be a pro. Wish her luck getting healthy
Hi out there. I wonder why Geno did not went after 2025 Recruit Aaliyah Chavez from Texas South Carolina is going after her for a while now and Geno should have been in the mix.
Maybe do a video on Prospects Nation overhyping UCONN front court recruits in a lot of cases. A lot of cases. DeBerry may have been the most egregious, but she was hardly alone. A. Patterson is a poster child. Bennybenson's annoyance with that uncomfortable fact noted.
Ice Brady is going no where and she's definitely NOT in Geno's doghouse. You don't get playing time, let alone start when you're on his naughty list. And Ice Brady vs. Amari DeBerry is a ridiculous comparison. You're fishing for something that's not there. One thing about Geno is that he's incredibly loyal to those who deliver for him. He may not be pleased with her play of late, which is fair, but he's definitely at the "challenge her" stage with Ice. He probably dogs her out at practice, but he won't give up on her just because you think she's in his time-out. For the record, Morgan Cieli is a natural guard. She may spend some time guarding a big when running in a small line-up but she's no replacement for Brady.
I think TBD on Ice . Not saying she is Amari DeBerry but situation is similar in that highly ranked recruit DeBarry #7 and Ice #5 - both came in with high expectation and under delivered in freshman year (Ice's freshman year would have been catastrophic bad if KK had not hit the 3pter vs Syracuse in 2nd rd game). Build up prior to the second year was that both in better shape and good things are to come. Will that happen for Ice or not. TBD. Currently i think she is an average rebounder & defender and below average on offensive as she is up and down with shooting. not saying El Alfy is great but think she is better defender and rebounding which is why is spurts team is better with her on floor than Ice in terms of net PPP. If Ice struggles vs USC and SC - I would not be confident going into tournament as both her and Shade seem to struggle vs better teams. I hope they go well as seem like nice kids and I wish them nothing but the best. Yes Morgan is more of a guard vs a 4 but this season it is clear, they are stacked at guards so if she get time it will likely be playing the 4. Overall think UConn's best line up will be El Alfy, Strong , Fudd (if healthy) , Chen , and PB. off bench will be Griffin , Ice , KK, Shade . I think Ice and El alfy will split time at the 5. If they go small then Strong will be 5, with Griffin at 4. KK and Chen will split time and minutes will be dependent on how going in games. Shade as well with Fudd. anyway thanks for watching and the comment
I don’t agree. Q’s first two games were great but has hardly done anything since. She misses open shots and is subject to turnovers. There are much better players fighting for playing time. I expect her to transfer out due to lack of playing time.
too many uconn players are collection of player that they are not good as advertised or not developing in college level. other than sarah strong, I am not impressed. azzi, caroline, Yana is unfortunate, but injuries are part of the game. too bad, another won't/can't step up to fill the roles. it is misfortune that azzi can't stay healthy because she gives false expectations to everyone. including her teammates. ice brandy plays so small compared to her physical tool she has... she is not crafty, or her skill is not defined. Hopefully she can develops go to post move or more comfortable in the post soon. too predictable for the defender to guard her.
Have you watched her attempt to make free throws? Have you seen her even take a shot that wasn’t within 4 feet of the hoop? Did you see her “shots” in the last game? I never saw her in Egypt. I bought into the rhetoric that she was going to be great. But her offense has been limited to non existant at UCONN. I hope you are right. But watch her play . She will not take a shot and misses most free throws.
Look folks, ICE may need some motivation to be as good as she can be, but she is not on an Amari DeBerry path. Also, don’t overlook the limitations of Jana. She looks limited to a fault. She has no ability to shoot at all. Not to worry a soul.
LOL. Sure. Jana scored 17 in the first game of the season ( vs. Boston U) and I don't think that qualifies as "no ability to shoot" when you led UConn in scoring in your first game and if you add in that she led all scorers in the 2022 FIBA world championships. She looked pretty deadly shooting 3s for Egypt. At this point she shoots as well as Stephanie Dolan did as a freshman and all Dolan did after her freshman year was get named to everyone's all-american team. We're 10 games in to the season. It took Stewie until the playoffs to show her stuff in her freshman year.
B/c the fact is few teams in the womens game have good bigs. If Fudd gets healthy Uconn has 3 players that can l get 16 to 20+ points every night in Bueckers, Strong, Fudd. 3 players that can get around 20 every night can cover up a lot of flaws elsewhere. Few teams have that. Also, once Griffin comes back after Xmas break they have another energy player, rebounder, slasher that can help them out defensively and crash the offensive boards. A healthy UConn with Fudd and Griffin is a final 4 level team. If they had a healthy Ducharme and Patterson, they would be elite.
@@sharonkeough8588 Against weaker teams, they look great, even now. As the season goes along, and they get better, #4 will seem alright. Just as the tournaments come along, then we'll see where they are. It's not many months away, but a lot of games and development time for the players.
I think you are writing Ice off too early and easily. I feel she has contributed more than she has not. If all players were written off after two bad games, we'd be in a sorry state. Is there a reason why you can't take what Geno says about her instead of reading "meaning" into everything?
@@joeb956 It took Ice all last season to develop. It wasn't until the conference tournament that Geno felt he could player her the whole game. Jana will take some time to learn the US college game, but she's doing it.
Bruh…please stop talking about Amari DeBerry. That chapter is over. Comparing any current UConn player to the complete miss Amari was is just disrespectful to the players. I think you just have an issue with Ice and want Jana to start for your own selfish reasons highlighted in the PPP rating you keep highlighting. 😆 Since you actually watch the games, the truth is that neither Jana nor Ice are blowing anyone away with consistent production. Ice simply needs to rebound better. As you mentioned, she’s not boxing out very well. This can be fixed. Jana is doing better on the boards. Neither is giving you much offensively. Jana is also missing layups & fouling. The game tonight vs Iowa State will be an interesting watch to see how they fair vs Crooks. It’s December…all this stressing over Ice is premature. Geno starts her for a reason and it’s not because she is sensitive. We know Ice can play and perform in big games. We just saw it last year in the Big East & NCAA Tourney. She’ll be fine.
Brady is on the verge of being a massive miss like DeBerry. No it's not premature about Ice b/c if you know UConn history is you haven't shown you're a starter or worthy of major minutes by 2nd year, you are relegated to seldom used reserve/garage time, if you stay 3rd and 4th year. FYI, UConn was trying in the portal for a big last year ans will again this year. Geno is on the verge of putting Brady in the permanent doghouse, just like Deberry was put in. Cheli is going to eat into her time and El Alfy too, as Geno knows Jana missed 15 months with an achilles injury. Brady had a full year back already and in reality El Alfy is playing better than Brady though Jana is still making mistakes, her runway is longer as she's into game 10 in college while Brady is around 45 games.
@ Hush. Nika Muhl didnt start until her Junior year. Ice started as a Freshman OVER Amari who was a Junior on the bench. Amari is a piss poor example to compare any current UConn player to. Amari was not ready for Div 1 level basketball when she arrived at UConn. Does Amari make key shots and defensive plays vs USC in the Final 8? NO. Does Amari make key baskets in the 2nd Half vs Iowa in the Final Four to keep UConn attached? NO. UConn didn’t really look for a big in the portal last year because Sarah was coming in. They only entertained Bears and she went to OU which tells me it wasn’t a great fit for the program. Again, Ice simply needs to improve her rebounding, knock down shots, make basic ball plays and she will be fine. All this hate on Ice from some low IQ basketball fans needs to stop. Stop making asses out of yourselves by assuming what Geno is thinking about his players or team. There is a reason these kids are on the team.
@@JayGHDTTP Muhl started 15 of 30 games as a freshmen, 19 of 36 as sophomore, her essentially permanent starting role was cemented the last 2 years by a decimated roster. They had 8 players max most of the time and several games they had the minimum to field a team in conference. Yes, they did look in the portal they struck out on Beers, Irafen and Betts as well as some lower level players they tried to contact. Fyi, Strong is not actually a post, she's wing/stretch 4. She's a Maya style player. The only low level IQ is you and you're delusions of what she is. UConn had 1 post last year in Edwards last year, Brady had all the opportunity in the world and she was so bad Geno only played her when it was absolutely the last resort. He often went small rather than player her. She has every opportunity with no returning posts and she is again flubbing it. She is playing less and less with each game b/c she's playing poorly. The writing is on the wall, turn it around quick or Geno is playing El Alfy more minutes over her and/or Cheli is playing more. Brady is only 1 inch taller than Cheli and Cheli is quicker, boxes out better and adds a legit 3 pt and mid range threat. Every thing about Brady's shot is iffy, mechanical, as if she is trying to guide the ball to the basket. The number of missed layups and bunnies is astounding.
Have no issue with ice , just think she is running out of time imo. Yes I tend to point to ppp net which show team is better with el Alfy on court Vs ice
She's a freakin' freshman. She would be on the bench in a normal season. The Huskies not having any experienced post players is their central weakness.

I think you’re misreading the facts. First of all, you rely too much on a comparison to Amari, and this is really not accurate at all. Amari’s problem was effort and energy. This is in no way Ice’s issue. You need to get Amari out of your head as your go to comparison. Second, you have misread what happened in the G’town game. UConn did “kick the hell” out of G’town, which was your standard. Ice got zinged by a bad call with Kelsey Ransome - a great player who sold a perfect flop. She boxed out well generally and defended well. Often the guards poach the rebounds she’s created for them by boxing out the opposing big. The very clip you show to suggest that she doesn’t do this in reality shows exactly this as Paige poaches that rebound. Third, you misread his interest in playing Morgan more. He’s talked about having a small lineup since the summer. This is not a reflection on Ice or Jana. Geno likes to be able to run small lineups as well as big lineups. Who in their right minds would not have seen Morgan’s potential for this a year ago? Finally, I think you overstate how Geno uses press conferences. This is not his primary way of speaking to his players. You’re reading tea leaves here, and the fact is the leaves don’t carry as much meaning as you think they do. Generally, coaches berate players face to face in practice, not in press conferences. Now, you’re not wrong to think the lineups with Morgan will reduce Ice and Jana’s minutes. That’s inevitable. But it says more about what he hopes to get Morgan to be able to do down the road than it does a public critique of any other player. Also, I think you’re overly enamored with the play on Ice’s name, saying she’s “on thin ice.” This has tricked you into an arbitrary reading of events. It verges on click bait, which is not usual for you.
@@back2sports Disagree about what? The excessive criticism of Amari? You really have to give that one a rest, especially when the comparison is inapt to begin with. As for the rest, I can see having a different view. And the stats you mention toward the end do point in your favor.
Definitely would love to see Morgan more. She's an interesting player to me...6 foot 2 and can knock down 3s, drive, pass and defend/steal. She's earned more mins 💯

Hopefully she gets it going
Hopefully
Yes pick and roll with Paige and Sarah should be illegal
Ice looks leaner this year but struggling for sure. I still am having trouble seeing much drive from El Alfy, she looks slow and aimless out there. She needs to get something going in the post. Morgan is really looking strong. Too, I am worried that Fudd is going to be a bust - I hope to god I am wrong because she is sensational.
Absolutely not. It's all about match ups. Geno knows how to mix and match. Brady will be ready for IU, USC, and beyond.
Keep dreaming. She ain't it. Not right now. Top 5 recruit is overrated until she removes it consistently

She had 26 against Jackson St. in Round 1 of the NCAA tournament. But, yeah, she doesn't excel against strong teams.
yep going to take a look at UConn vs USC.
I agree no shame in being a bench player
morgan is getting a handful of points which is a good start. She is 6'2. maybe mix it up inside a little?
People forget that morgan, jana and ice play different position, morgan is a guard/forward but ice is a true forward and Jana is a centre they don’t all do the same thing.
Thank you.💯
Why wouldn't he want Audi.
Exactly💯
Love you Becky you should be proud of yourself for you have done for the women’s game of soccer ❤🏀🐰
Was Geno's comment a dig on Ice or a recruiting pitch? 😂
The comment from Geno was about JuJu not Audi Crooks saying she was a problem for every team in the country. ❤
No it was not about JuJu the reporting ask he mis hears.question and then she says Audi. It was about Audi 100% sure
@ I will admit maybe I heard it wrong. Too lazy to go back and check. I believe you. ❤️
That's Ayanna
No. Jana does not have a surgery pending.
It's clearly a problem area for them. Hopefully they are able to turn it around.
Yes
Ice playing time is melting, she gotta transfer to team willing to wait for her deveopment.
Unimportant. Too early t tell. She has at least 80 games left in the next three years. I remember when the self-professed experts wanted Nika bnched.
Muhl went in the second round of the WNBA draft, barely played over 5 minutes per game. She was not that "great" of a player.
@@RustyLou18 yes but she was a vital part of the team, especially last season
I was at Georgetown and Iowa in NY, and you could see the players' body language in real time. I was chatting it up with some UCONN fans about the post-play or lack thereof, and we agreed that bad footwork and basketball IQ are hurting the team. Morgan seems to want it more than Ice and Jana. Why is Caroline taking up space? She will never be a pro. Wish her luck getting healthy
It's early
Hi out there. I wonder why Geno did not went after 2025 Recruit Aaliyah Chavez from Texas South Carolina is going after her for a while now and Geno should have been in the mix.
Maybe do a video on Prospects Nation overhyping UCONN front court recruits in a lot of cases. A lot of cases. DeBerry may have been the most egregious, but she was hardly alone.
A. Patterson is a poster child. Bennybenson's annoyance with that uncomfortable fact noted.
ICE IS A WALKING TURNOVER.
Averaging 1.5 per game this year.. by garnering only 3 rebounds per game she is almost a net loss whenever she is on the court
Ice is not as intense as she was. When she plays aggressive she plays big part of game. They need to work with her and not drop the ball!,
Ice Brady is going no where and she's definitely NOT in Geno's doghouse.
Ice needs to concentrate on rebounds and block shots. She’ll be fine then- El Affy not ready yet. Chelli, I like but doesn’t sound like the answer.
Samuel needs more minutes too
I don’t agree. Q’s first two games were great but has hardly done anything since. She misses open shots and is subject to turnovers. There are much better players fighting for playing time. I expect her to transfer out due to lack of playing time.
she has some off. skills. I see her just standing in the corner too often. the staff needs to help her find a role.
In limited time Ice has already outplayed DeBerry's 3 years worth of time at UCONN.
Yes she has - ice 148 PTS & 166 REB , DeBerry 108 PTS & 69 REB
too many uconn players are collection of player that they are not good as advertised or not developing in college level.
other than sarah strong, I am not impressed.
azzi, caroline, Yana is unfortunate, but injuries are part of the game. too bad, another won't/can't step up to fill the roles. it is misfortune that azzi can't stay healthy because she gives false expectations to everyone. including her teammates.
ice brandy plays so small compared to her physical tool she has... she is not crafty, or her skill is not defined.
So how can Uconn be rank #2
They are now 4th.
@sharonkeough8588 should not be in the top 5

It's looking like a bad fit. Blame Geno. High school rankings aren't reliable either.
She is a red shirt sophomore. She was injured her first year. Last year was a red shirt freshman.

Don't think so. But happy to agree to dis agree
@@back2sports Disagree about what? The excessive criticism of Amari? You really have to give that one a rest, especially when the comparison is inapt to begin with.
As for the rest, I can see having a different view. And the stats you mention toward the end do point in your favor.
