- Vic Englar's 1960 is a great example of the first generation of El Caminos. Lance Lambert, host of television's "Vintage Vehicle Show" takes a close look at the vehicle and asks Vic the eternal El Camino question; is it a truck or a car? Following the interview is a montage of Chevs along with music by the Dynotones. You can find out more about the "Vintage Vehicle Show" by visiting www.vintagevehicletv.com.
The sportiest, best looking, powerful, useful vehicle produced for the masses.
Car or truck
@@cesarromero5622 Ford = truck because of suspension, Cadillac version= personal Luxury sports utility vehicle, rest of GM =car. I saw a 60s Canadian built Pontiac version once ✌️
My favorite year! Cool 👍!
The owner is just a mite confused here . Chevrolet didn't make a Biscayne wagon until 1962 . The '59-'60 two door wagons were named Brookwood , also the "B" pillars on those were straight up and down just like the sedan delivery had , Caminos had pillars that were angled . The bed floor and wheel tubs , and the tailgate is the only sheet metal behind the firewall that is interchangeable with a wagon . Even in 1959 Caminos came stock with Delco air shocks and were rated at a half ton of payload , same as the 1964 and newer Caminos and hey were marketed , and sold as trucks . And they are supposed to be licensed as trucks .
great job. looks great!
That sound track is AWESOME - what's the name of the song?
