Nice review Dave. Great idea with the breast coat ctp reset option; huge time saver. Thanks for the shout out! 🤓👍 I appreciate that. I agree, Alex does a bang up job at in debt reviews and I enjoy hearing him as well!
I absolutely LOVE “vanished and gone”. Either ending is very powerful. Too bad Elmwood magic closed. I was planning to go there because I live an hour away. I really liked most of the Elmwood magic/Paul Richards effects and have a ton of them. Thank you for the honest review. I love watching your reviews. Something about the way you review things makes all of the other review sites seem less interesting. I mean they are good, but your reviews stand out over the others. Keep up the great work!
I’m on a magic buying spree at the moment and I CONSTANTLY watch your reviews! Just wanna say I love your channel man and pls keep up the amazing reviews. Definitely subscribed 👍👍
Oh! I thought this was going to be a card to spectators pocket!... which we will be uploading a tutorial for shortly... and I was wrong! this is so cool!!
Great Review, I’ve been subbed for a while now. I really think if you give yourself more headroom in your shot and filmed a little further away from your backdrop, this would to add depth to your videos. This would easily elevate your content, make your vids look more professional. aka more views & subs! I love your honest reviews and here’s mine, hope the best for this channel can’t wait for the next video!
I was waiting on this one as well. Great review as always If you do any coin reviews. I been wondering about coin to wallet. Signed coin ends up in pouch in wallet I can't figure it out haha
Very truthful review. Excellent overview of the effect of both good and bad aspects of the trick (although I agree, not too many negatives) . Good neutral opinion. Keep it up!
Illusionist has a precorder Card to pocket from Christian Grace comming, would you know anything about it? Have you had a chance to look at it?love this plot.
Seems like too much spectator management for my liking, plus a killer on pocket space, this would have to be a cornerstone of your routine. Back to the spectator management, this is the biggest draw back, seems like if I don’t see the card in the deck I may try to search it differently which would destroy the the effect. Thought the reset was bad as well but you had a nice solution. It is a nice price point so not too much of a gamble to experiment with.
Now the million dollar question: Based on what you have... and in your opinion.... based on practicality and apparent astonishment factor.... This, pocket nightmare, get sharky .... which gets your stamp of approval and which would you see yourself doing most?
Is the thing used to locate the card in your pocket good? I use Daniel Madison’s version, so just wondering how easy it is to use if you’re already familiar with one.
Robert Ball Magician Id say you can’t compare. Mavens is performance based as in it works because of the entire performance the way it is designed (so it covers that it was just a f**ce) This is a sleight of hand thing in the sense that it is totally impossible because it’s any card but you have to get out and prove with dexterity. To clarify both require shutting down the deck search by saying hey here’s your card in my pocket. Mavens works because of the performances set up (one handed) and by saying I didn’t say which hand and this one needs you to get their card in the time frame of them searching the deck. Make sense?
But if they’re both Daryl, then which one is the REAL Daryl? Uh oh, might need to have them fight it out for the title, there can be only one! Nice looking trick 😎 do you know if this is anything like Bang on by Marc Oberon?
David is it really worth the space required? In otherwords if your eliminating 2 pockets before you’ve even started your walk around where else does everything else go? You don’t want to be walking around barely being able to move as your clunked up everywhere! While the effect sounds 👍🏻 is it really worth all the BS over a signed card to pocket to wallet etc
@@magicorthodoxy I would say from a layperson spectators point of view, very much mostly yes. Arts and crafts, clothing restrictions, can take some pocket space. Worth the price...sure
HoldemRw Prop Dog reviewed it in their last Friday live I believe.

I guess we all have to hope for cargo pants to come back in style. Good review.
wait wait wait .... they're NOT in style?
Nice work as always, im looking for a face off by ron Review :(
I'll keep my eye out
Dinossauro 2077 Awesome trick I just started doing. Found it way tough to prep though but found a fellow who will prep them for me.
Great review. Would you recommend this over Max mavens pocket nightmare ?
it's all pocket management, Max's is good and takes up less space, but it's very balsy
Oh my God waited for this a long time thank u
Do u have a review of Odyssey or patrified or reflex
nope. sorry
@@magicorthodoxy it's okay
😊

This, pocket nightmare, get sharky .... which gets your stamp of approval and which would you see yourself doing most?
I've literally never seen GET SHARKY, but I have a sneaking suspicion to how it's done, because I have a thin double deck from Phoenix
@@magicorthodoxy okay fair enough...
Then this or pocket. Which would YOU use?
Caleb Miller If I may be so bold as to weigh in I’d say this is more impromptu/street and pocket is set performance/planned performance.
Is the thing used to locate the card in your pocket good? I use Daniel Madison’s version, so just wondering how easy it is to use if you’re already familiar with one.
use what you're already used to
I thought this was one of your more spirited reviews 👍😀👍
:D
Awesome Stuff! Is the 2nd part similar to Advocate by Daniel Madison?
With clothing restrictions, I think I’ll go with Pocket Nightmare.
PN definitely has "less" to carry, but it's a much more "ballsy" trick
Great review. How does this measure up with Max Maven's Pocket Nightmare. 👍👍😊
I reviewed that one also, I guess it depends on pocket space and what you're looking for
@@magicorthodoxy well if you had to choose which one.🤔🤔🤔😊

I built Daniel Madison's similar item. Is this easier than Daniel's to use?
i've never used Daniel's but if you're already comfortable with that - use it
can the spectator hold the deck before telling the magician the card he is thinking of?
2:47
magicorthodoxy oh thanks man
great video! framerate's a bit slow, though.
what frame rate is slow? I film probably at 30 fps ....

Mnemonic: " i have a post card im going to mail, name a vacation place you would love to visit. " 52 options of anything?
that would work - with blank faced cards and a "system" in your head
Are pocket nightmare and this the same pretty much?
Yes .... but mostly no
