- The beautiful and melodious Hannah Peel is wonderfully inventive and has written some lovely songs of her own but her "rebox" series of '80s covers played on a music box are such fun live (available on iTunes - and her Tainted Love adopted as the theme tune for TV by FX's American Horror Story"! www.myspace.com...

Beautiful performance, and it is nice to see a performer with a sense of humour too.
Yessssssssss, american horror story!!!!
@mackessp It's Hannah's own music box design that she plays by painstakingly punching out the paper tape you see her winding through! Check her "re-box" EP project of 80's covers for music box on iTunes etc. Her own brand of "Wonky Folk Pop" is equally unique on her new "Broken Wave" album. If you follow her on twitter she is asking for cover requests for a new monster-size music box she has made!
An incredibly engaging performer 💖
shes gorgeous and soo talented! want more of this.. and a proper version of this cover?
A beautiful and surpising version of this song, thanks for sharing :-)
That was great! I'd love to hear more!
good covers of a 60's classic.
@shani6969 - you can find Hannah's rebox album with this song and other 80's covers on iTunes, Amazon or from her Facebook site
I could (and have) listen to that over and over
Beautiful interpretation ❤❤❤
Actually its NOT a 80s song-it was written in the 60s and released by Gloria Jones then and in the 1970s and was a popular track on the Northern Soul scene though most people are only familiar with it because of Soft Cells cover version
Lovely comment, my friend. I think I saw it before in this comment section.
@tommybevano Just downloaded Hannah's new album "Broken Wave" (launch on 8th Feb 2011) - it's fab!
It's amusing to see a few people hear arguing about the origin of this song. It's like the song "I Will Always Love You, that song was not originally by Whitney Houston, even though lots of people are familiar only with Whitney singing it.
GÄNSEHAUT ....ABSOLUT FANTASTISCH. .. RESPEKT ...THNX FROM DRESDEN
I want that Instrument
so nice, one kiss first ...
Great new female version of the Soft Cell song.
No no no! Once again: Tainted Love is a northern soul classic by Gloria Jones. Soft Cell covered it....
I was surprised to discover that it was a cover, as the lyrics were so perfect for Soft Cell. :) The original, however, has a warmth and charm that the Soft Cell lads managed to turn in to a soulful bleakness. I love both versions.
@Johnnyboi1971 80's you mean
now why change girl to boy to god ?
by Gloria Jones is : give you all a Girl
by Soft Cells : give you all a Boy
by Hannah Peel : give you all a god
I think it's just the way she songs. Stop complaining.
N Bédard it's her accent she says girl not God 😒
The Nouvelle Vague Business Model gets a franchise I see.
@fubuguy10 wat is that about anyways

Pointless. Conveys nothing...
dreary and depressing.
