She is beautiful, and the quality of the outfit is very impressive. Again, Mattel produced better dolls back then.

They should redo those lines with modern articulated dolls and matching heritage skintones.

These beauties have always been on my list of favorite dolls because of their unique looks ❤ I’m so glad you have such an amazing doll to add to your collection ☺️ btw, the shoes you picked for her are the ones I would have chosen since she definitely needed that extra detail to complete her look ✨💖✨

Thanks Ms. D!😊 I’ve been wanting this beauty since forever, and I am just so happy to have her finally.
And thanks, I’m glad you liked the shoes I picked out. I’m kinda amazed that they’re knockoffs because the sculpting looks so good! They look like they were made for her🩵

These boxes have my favorite design not too big, and you can take the top of the box off to see the doll close up.

Hi, I really liked that unboxing, the doll is beautiful, I would like to see more unboxings of dolls from around the world, I love seeing different kinds of dolls with different types of clothes, I would love for you to do an unboxing of the Barbie Argentina is the only Barbie from Argentina, what exists and as an Argentinian I would love to see it in detail, she is wearing an electric blue Tango dress and her face mold is Teresa

Thank you for the very nice suggestion. 😊 Yes, I actually do like Argentina Barbie, plus the 1990 Teresa face is one of my favorite sculpts. I will need to find one at a good price. Plus my upload schedule is already booked for the next 6 months and I have a lot of dolls I need to open and make videos of. But I’ll see what I can do.

They often do remove thier shoes when inside especially upon entering someone else’s home, so it makes sense for her not to wear them.

India is a diverse country you can't just group a single Indian and let them explain what Indian as a culture is India is a country that is filled with different entnicities, tribes, culture, custom, languages so forth and so on this Diwali barbie look look like a North Indian women in the Northern part of India like Punjab you will find people with light tan and coloured eyes like blue, hazel, grey and amber gold are the colours I've seen I studied my colledge years there. The ethnic and genetic make up of India is very very diverse and diwali specifically is celebrated by Hindu,Jains and Sikhs. I will argue that trying to identify Indian as a people with just one group is quite wrong cause even me as an Indian born and bred when I went to other states they will treat me as a tourist cause the part where I came from is very different we are genetically different from them(people from other states)our language, culture, customs and ethnic makeup. Also in India it is better to learn minimum 3 languages/dialect if you don't want to get lost. And if you're part of the Indian people who doesn't need to learn other language except from Hindi and English you're privileged

16:38 Lehenga I think it supposed to represent Lehenga not Sari I'll let you do your own educational research You will love Lehengas they're so beautifully crafted it takes a LOT of fabric to make one they're just beautiful attire

It could be. Personally I’m just taking the word of the online listings for this doll, because they do say it’s a sari. But yeah it could be a lehenga.

@@asherbarbara9 Oooh... 😂 the 2006 were are different era indeed 😂😂😂 Sarees are a long piece of cloth draped around the body to create a dress so it wouldn't come with a shawl or a stole. Talking about Indian inspired doll Isha 'Age of Opulence' by integrity that doll is phenomenal one of my top favourite promotional photos as well

@@veen-a2092 I’ll be honest with you, I don’t even think Mattel knows what this doll is wearing. 😅 This doll was designed by a Hispanic woman and was approved by a bunch of white dudes. Cultural accuracy was never a concern for the Dolls of the World line. Which is why it was eventually discontinued in the mid-2010s because it was such a magnet of controversy. 😂

@@asherbarbara9 Personally I really love this doll I think she's beautiful and she looks like a North Indian women. BUT the garment is not bad don't get me wrong but it looks like a cheap costume rather than a full on Indian attire and I think that is why they said she looks like a tourist. I love her hair, hair is one thing every ethnicity in India agreed on is that a really long black hair on women is like flex(I think Asian culture in general has this) long gorgeous natural hair is treasured, our grand parents will always teach us how to make amla fused coconut oil for hair masked so I love her long hair, also the face-up is very gorgeous those Kajal lined sharp cat eyes is very bridal Indian make-up. I love this doll personally I really wish I could've gotten one. The costume 2/10, the doll 9/10
