I wake up during the night and I will listen until I fall asleep. Upon waking I listen again. I will turn the volume down in the morning while I pray & do my daily scripture readings. The word Apocrypha simply means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible at the end of the Old Testament and positioned between the Old and New Testament. It also contained maps and genealogies. The apocrypha was a part of the King James Bible for 274 years until being removed in the year 1885. It's not certain why the apocrypha was taken out of the king James Bible in 1885. The truth is the original 1611 King James Version contained the Deuterocanonical books. Why did most of the chapters go private? I was listening to the 66 books in entirely (non-dramatized) because I don't read well. It was such a blessing, I do hope they return. Or at least if another could make available. But this one was so good, all in order and with text on screen to follow.

I think you can stop the commercial after 5 seconds and they only run every 30 minutes or so. Every time I download or save Alexander Scourby's reading of the KJV to a play list it always winds up being deleted or removed or hidden and I don't understand why this keeps happening. This is about the 3rd or 4th time. It's starting to get very discouraging.

I don't pay for cable, I just use UA-cam if I want to watch something, or listen to radio. I love the blessing of this Scourby channel, especially overnight and when I'm doing housework.” There is no business model in the world based on giving away goods and services. FREE programming is on TV, but ads appear to pay for that programing. If there are no ads, then a subscription fee is involved. Does anyone else feel bad about all the animal sacrifice that is ordered . I am trying to understand why , and I realize if I eat meat I am a hypocrite. Amen! Numbers is a hard book, but there are so many wonderful things in it that point us to Jesus. Thank you Mr. Scourby. I like to ask my Google speaker to play The KJV of The Audio Bible from Genesis to Revelations. I listen until I fall asleep. I wake up during the night and I will listen until I fall asleep. Upon waking I listen again. I will turn the volume down in the morning while I pray & do my daily scripture readings. NEW: Alexander Scourby reads the Apocrypha. Some have been critical of its publishing and those who are, can continue to hear the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation read by Alexander Scourby.
Historical Apocrypha facts. The word Apocrypha simply means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible at the end of the Old Testament and positioned between the Old and New Testament. It also contained maps and genealogies. The apocrypha was a part of the King James Bible for 274 years until being removed in the year 1885.
It's not certain why the apocrypha was taken out of the king James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save some money on the publishing of the King James Bible.
The truth is the original 1611 King James Version contained the Deuterocanonical books. Just as these books the Protestants call the "Apocrypha" Books were in Martin Luther's Translation and all of the Earlier Protestant English Translations of the Bible which Predated the 1611 KJV. This should not come as a surprise when one considers that right inside the front cover the KJV says That it was:

These represent the new testament Covenant, which God sent his son Jesus Christ to establish between God the Father and his people. To do that Jesus would have to submit himself to be the sacrificial lamb of God on a Cross on a lonely hill at Golgotha outside of Jerusalem. We encourage all to Hear those book as often as you can so you HEAR the full Truth, Spirit and Love of Jesus’ teachings and keep that TRUTH deep within so HIS TRUTH can make you FREE.

Why did most of the chapters go private? I was listening to the 66 books in entirely (non-dramatized) because I don't read well. It was such a blessing, I do hope they return. Or at least if another could make available. But this one was so good, all in order and with text on screen to follow.

his content is FREE. It’s expensive to put content on UA-cam because we have to continually maintain it. It’s like TV, you get free programming, but there are TV commercials. I think you can stop the commercial after 5 seconds and they only run every 30 minutes or so. Every time I download or save Alexander Scourby's reading of the KJV to a play list it always winds up being deleted or removed or hidden and I don't understand why this keeps happening. This is about the 3rd or 4th time. It's starting to get very discouraging.

Ahch, Thank you for your comments about adverts and we can understand where you’re coming from. Let me say the following: First, UA-cam Selects the ads for the videos, normally they are synergistic with the content and they can be skipped after 5 seconds.
Here is what a user M.W. wrote as a comment: “I have UA-cam premium, it's $10 a month. I never see a commercial. I don't pay for cable, I just use UA-cam if I want to watch something, or listen to radio. I love the blessing of this Scourby channel, especially overnight and when I'm doing housework.”
There is no business model in the world based on giving away goods and services. FREE programming is on TV, but ads appear to pay for that programing. If there are no ads, then a subscription fee is involved. We all pay monthly subscriptions, to NETFLIX, Amazon Prime, HBO, etc. for content. It takes time and money creating Channel content as well as maintaining the Channel, it’s not FREE. We wish we could play the Bible Recordings FREE on UA-cam, however, the reality of life is that it takes money to do anything

Does anyone else feel bad about all the animal sacrifice that is ordered . I am trying to understand why , and I realize if I eat meat I am a hypocrite. Because our own animal sacrifice that goes on now to feed the people or just to waste puts this to shame . We're the people eating this ? Is that what a wave offering is ? Can anyone enlighten me ?
