Agree on the pricing. Last couple of seasons we could afford everyone. Now we start the season having to make actual choices and decisions.
It seemed like fpl were heading in a direction for causal players. But this season, with the banking of transfers and the pricing, we’re forced into tough decisions and good planning can be rewarded. Good job.
last season was my first time playing FPL. This season is looking way more exciting.
My logic with no Haaland is that you can have like Palmer+Isak for the same price as Haaland+Winks, and of the two options I know which one to choose. I just think a draft without Haaland looks so much better overall in quality… and even then I know these words will age so well, when Haaland goes on to score like 10 goals in the first four games

@@David91690 I know, and it is just a way of looking at it by using a comparison. Tbh I’m just trying to justify not having Haaland to myself even tho I’ll most likely regret it deeply smh💀
@@wklfc There is no chance Haaland does enough in 1 season to justify 15mil, he should have at least 250+ points which i doubt. He may explode for 3-5 gameweeks so timing is going to be key.

Feels a lot more well rounded. Can even Drop Havertz if Gakpo/Darwin seem nailed and pick up pickford or even a 7.0 mid.
Halaand scores 4 goals in gw2 after Salah's hat trick in gmw1 and you're sweating
Great stat on Palace from GW26 on... could you expand on this data, and therefore its importance, by comparing the difficulty of that run of fixtures vs the other defenses, please? You're excellent at this sort of stuff. I appreciate all the helpful information you share and all the hard work it must take to do so.
picking Salah will depend on 2 things
1- what Liverpool do in the transfer market especially for the RW position
2- If Jota is not fully fit
Exactly.Only if Mo and Erling score every GW 3 goals than i will lose,instead is much better to have Watkins,Isak,Gordon,Palmer,Saka,Foden and Ricarlison or Solanke plus Guardiol and solid defence,than to have Mo and Haland and others shit players.
Your number 1 priority is to create a draft with Haaland & Salah that you are happy with.
Speaking as a City fan -- Haaland has had a full break. He was challenged last year at the beginning of the year w/o De Bruyne from the start. He also had to wait a little bit for Foden to kick into full gear. He enters the season fit, a full preseason, and City will have their full contingent to get him the ball, a new winger, AND Alvarez may be gone. I can't see going without him.
For 6.5 you could get Gibbs White.
Forrest have a really good run of opening fixtures and he is on every set piece which maximises his points potential and BPS potential.
Bailey also is great pick , he will do the job this season (the departure of diaby will help him)
You can have Saka instead of Odegaard by changing formation. Bailey to a 4.5, 4x 4.5 defenders plus a 6m defender
Martinelli at 7m could be this year's enabler I think if he is fully fit again. Then you save the Saka money and can get Salah and Haaland in, as long as you go without premium defender
I think that's just us hoping he would be.

I really can't justify going with Haaland. Feels like he hurts my team more then helps it at this price tag.
I have actually solved the conundrum of Haaland vs Salah by having both of them in my team! The first two GWs should tell us if this tactic is working! GW1, Salah, captain against Ipswich Town and in GW2, Haaland against the same opponent! No offense to Ipswich Town fans!
I made 3 drafts Haaland , salah and Haaland Salah draft and my favorite is Haaland and Salah it still has bruno and odegaard with isak

My opinion is that both Haaland and Salah dont have value for their price.They need to score every GW 2 goals in average to get valued.Foden,Havertz,Gordon are far better value players than both Haaland and Mo.

I have made teams with only Salah, only Haaland and with both and I am most pleased team with Salah without Haaland. But Haaland is Haaland. Might end up with both Ipswich games in mind.

Rotation risk with Quansah. Also of what i have read is that Quansah is impressive in pre-season onder Slot. So i wont risk konate.
