Evening Paul,evening everyone, probably wont be busy till Easter now but we've got all this year to look forward to with the many events already lined up. Christmas by the sea will probably be even bigger next Christmas, we visited on xmas eve, nice walk around. We're next up there at easter. Great video and update paul, cheers mate.

We had lots of snow in the early hours of this morning,lots of the schools were closed today, hopefully they will be able to go back tomorrow, very icy cold here tonight, staying indoors keeping warm.

Looks like you were out a bit later than me Paul. I was up by the Illuminations tableaux’s and I could see the snow capped hills of the Isle of Man, but I didn’t have my good camera, so I went home to get it, but when I got back up there I couldn’t see them. Might very again tomorrow.
hi Stephen many thanks for coming and watching and yes I was out quite late today, I did manage to catch them yesterday. Fantastic scene with all the snow on top really incredible, I just purchased a new camera for when it’s raining the GoPro 12 not too sure if you heard of it? At least I won’t ruin my third pocket 3 LOL.

Although the shops and streets looked grim today, the sea was beautiful. Only 30 miles away, cars are stuck on the street and the bin men couldn't empty the bins today. Whatever the weather is like at Blackpool it is never boring. 👍

Hi Paul good evening another excellent video I'm glad the snow gone was quiet in blackpool I got to work safely this morning and when I finished sun was out and excellent footage of the promenade and the blackpool tower and shame to see Christmas by sea finished can't wait to this year and excellent news about bonny street market gates getting took down and hopefully they knocked down the old police station and family courts I won't miss the concrete block with all the graffiti it will make central drive better when it is knocked down when the development is finished the pleasure beach will even quieter the new development I think it is going to be allien indoor a adventure park and I will never forget bonny street market happy memories of the market when first visited it as a kid and blackpool means a lot to me it is happy place and coral island is a massive place and the old flagship bar should make into a family bar it has been shut before COVID and the carpark looks so quiet before they been the machine's in to knock down old police station and family courts thanks Paul excellent video take care pal from Keith 👍👍👍👍👍👍

It will be interesting to see how this year pans out with the imminent price rises on food etc in April. It is getting to the stage that working families can't even afford a weekend away.

Good evening Paul. Thank you for another great video. A very interesting update on the Christmas market. It’s always sad when something comes to an end. I have. visited the Christmas by the sea a few times. It was great although a bit expensive. I had a German sausage because my brother wanted to know what they taste like and because I live in Germany I wanted to see if they taste the same. in Berlin they cost 4 euro it must be around 5 pounds? That was a lot of water on the promenade. It was a lot of snow and then the rain. Looks like good weather in Blackpool today and it’s always great to look at the sea. Unbelievable how quickly the snow has disappeared, we have still got snow here in Yorkshire
hi Stephen yes certainly disappeared within 12 hours I’d say! Sadly it turned to rain but on the good side it never turned to ice which is always the main thing and yes I can imagine Yorkshire certainly guess fair share of snow.

The wooden blocks are known in the fairground industry as packing , it’s used a lot in rides to balance platforms under Jacks and when the fair pulls onto non solid ground , the larger blocks are used to place underneath hydronic rams to avoid the machine sinking into uneven ground

i was disapointed with the price hikes this year, the yorkshire pudding wrap was £7 last year and £10 this year, they are going to price themselves out of blackpool soon
many thanks for comment and that certainly is a large increase. I know that things have gone up but that certainly is a bump! To be fair I never bought anything from the Christmas market but certainly that is quite expensive hopefully next year the price of go back, fingers crossed. I know of a few B&Bs/bars in town that are open less hours this month than the rest of the year. They are taking the time to take a break (who can blame them after a busy December) or have internal work done.

Hi Paul I went to the opening of Blackpool by the sea in. November a few of strictly come dancing stars opened it and the was a local drama club who sang Christmas songs I went on super on and the star flyer great views over Blackpool on that ride and had to have papas fish and chips best in Blackpool portions are massive

They're wooden packers that they use to stabilise the contact points of the rides with the ground when there is unevenness.
