Hello. The manufacturer and many motorcyclists advise to pour oil with a viscosity of 15-50, how does your motorcycle feel at 10-40 and why don't you pour 15-50?
The user manual suggests 10W-40 or 10W-50. I chose the first one because of the colder climate I live in. The bike feels great with this viscosity. If I were to change, I might use 10w-50, maybe.
As per the user manual you need to check the oil level without screwing the indicator knob.
Hi! Filter should be fixed with 8-12 Nm only, always by hand......
BMW changed the oil recommendation from 10W-40 to 15W-50. I think it has to do with faulty chain tensioners.

surely an easier way to check water level than taking off the fairing to remove the cap ? ? really
