BMW changed the oil recommendation from 10W-40 to 15W-50. I think it has to do with faulty chain tensioners.

You are supposed to use 5w30 oil not 5w 40

For 1.5 dci you need 5w30 rn0720 only

As per the user manual you need to check the oil level without screwing the indicator knob.

you need 5w30 no 5w40 with the FAP ;)

*The only mistake you make here is at the end , the car needs to be level on ground for all the OLD oil to exit the engine* 😐
