Imagine being on set of a Stanley Kubrick film. You have already shot that take 30 times, because the master wasn't satisfied and then you slip and fall on your ass and Kubrick says "perfect! that´s a wrap!". LOL
Spaceballs - not a blooper (ad lib) Alien Resurrection - not a blooper (a happy accident) Lord of the Rings - not a blooper (a choice) Ghostbusters - not a blooper (ad lib) 1917 - not a blooper (doing what he was directed to do, the literal opposite of a blooper) Phone booth - not a blooper (ad lib) The departed - not a blooper (ad lib) Dumb and Dumber - not a blooper (ad lib) The Dark Knight - not a blooper (acting choice born of costume) Die Hard - not a blooper (intended by stunt coordinator) The Martian - not a blooper (just… acting!) Spaceballs (again) - not a blooper (a choice by the director) Seriously, what are you even doing?
The one for Alien Resurrection they were expecting to do 3-9 takes and miss every time, they had multiple cameras on it then would splice in the ball going in on it's own. Her actually doing it on the first take was the surprise that took Ron P. out of Character.
Yeah exactly. People thinking Scorsese didn't know what he was doing. There's dozens of these throughout the movie. Detectives don't normally fumble with holsters. Inmates aren't allowed matches either (notice who lights his cigarettes).
The running scene in 1917. The first soldier he ran into never got back up 😂. Either he got knocked out for real or just decided to stay down and not bother to get back up.
He was probably told to fall down at a certain point, but the guy ran into him, so he figured that was his time to stay down. Rather than try and stand up and have someone else run into him. He wasn't paid enough to risk injury.
There were other scenes filmed in that location as part of the film, likely on the same day/week. So while those 2 were just pratting around on set, having them turn the camera's on isn't much of a stretch. Still iffy, but it would logically explain why there were camera's pointing there. As for why they'd pick that spot to play, its the only decently clear spot around the house when you look at it.
As for "lip licking" of Joker, that is called "tardive dyskinesia" and happens to people who have been on antipsychotics for a long time and suddenly stopped taking them. So, even if accidental, worked great for the character.
In the documentary "I Am Heath Ledger," we learn that the silicone pieces of his/Joker's lips would come loose sometimes, and because of this, the actor started licking his lips to make sure they stayed in place. Ledger just ended up leaning into that and incorporated the licking as a part of his character's creepy mannerisms.
Agreed, that lack of distinction bugged me. Also, the bit where Arnold does the thumbs up is identified as a blooper, but it was an intentional choice, in the script or not.
@-TheShaun- That's not true. A blooper refers to a mistake that was left in. An actor improvising something on purpose doesn't qualify as a blooper because it was intentional. For example, Robin Williams falling in The Birdcage is a blooper because it wasn't intended. The fact that he played it off well with improv is what made them leave it in. Conversely, Rick Moranis playing with dolls in Spaceballs isn't a blooper, because everything he did was intentional. He didn't accidentally pick up the dolls and start acting out a scene somehow.
In the movie " Don't Drink the Water" there is a scene where Dom Deluise has his clothing catch fire by a candle(if I remember correctly). It totally looks like a real accident and Dom looks really scared as he puts it out. I honestly think it was a blooper left in.
El Camino the breaking bad movie SPOILERS When Jessy shoots through is own jacket it catches fire, as the extras are leaving past him one says "Dude you're on fire", that was never meant to happen.
Terminator 2 4:14 I always thought the thumbs up was a genius move, a great way to send off what was considered an emotionless machine with a human gesture
"This wasn't supposed to happen, but the director kept it in the movie." "They weren't supposed to say that, but the director kept it in the movie." "Even though it did this to the scene, the director decided to keep it in the movie." "Now we have this scene over here, and believe it or not, the director kept it in the movie."
Joker licking his lips is actually a tick that Heath Ledger had irl, which he emphasized for the character. You can see Heath lick the corners of his mouth frequently in old interviews.
Then arrest yourself. You used two commas in a row after the word "read". Also, corrections on the internet are marked with an asterisk, not parenthesis. P.S. I deliberately left a grammatical error in my response. Can you find it?
Mark Hamill WAS Luke Skywalker. George Lucas walked through the room full of actors during the auditions and silently selected the kid picking his nose.
In Shutter Island, Teddy Daniels is hydrophobic after what happened to his children. The witness does have a drink in her hand but Teddy's mind refuses to accept it, hence why the glass appears empty. All deliberate.
Title: "When Movie Bloopers Were Too Good to Left Out!" Last line about the Alien Resurrection "blooper" of Weaver making that shot: "Ron Perlman nearly screwed up the shot by celebrating out of character. That's why the shot cuts as soon as the ball goes through." I don't think you know that "too good to be left out" and "that's why the shot cuts" are diametrically opposing statements. Also, an actor using cue cards is not a blooper, nor is a director intentionally tricking an actor to get a more believable reaction, like your Alan Rickman in Die Hard example. I don't think you even know what that word means either.
Most CGI Characters are motion captured. Most of the times, there's an actor who's playing the part right there with the rest of the actors, it's better because actors play off of each other's performance. Then they get scrubbed and replaced with the 3D Model
The "I cant see a thing in this helmet" improv line in star wars led to one of the most dasterdly existences and quirks of the stormtoopers, that they cant hit anything. In one lens the empire has some of the most grueling training known to the galaxy creating brutal killing warriors, and in another, they are goofy imbeciles with an accuracy problem. A travesty.
He had already a fake axe on his back. When the guy throws the axe at him, that axe is shown falling to the ground, so there are 2 axes at that scene. It's hard to miss, but you can see the thrown axe bouncing off and falling on the ground.
okey, grown the channel enough using the same clips over and over, time to buckle down and actually do something to deserve the subs? Maybe? Just a friendly hint. That being said, kudos for the Arnold thumbs up. That was a goofy fun one.
The one about Heath Ledger and the Joker's prosthetic scars is incorrect. Ledger had improvised that detail about his portrayal of the Joker as a way to unsettle his costars. It had nothing to do with the make up or prosthetics.
I never buy the b.s about "they didn't know the camera was left on" First off, there are at least two camera angles, so what two cameras were just left running, and somehow both actors are squarely in frame in both of them? I'm sure the actors didn't know that part made into the movie because there was more of a scene that ended getting scrapped halfway through filming or something like that, but every time someone tries pulling this same nonsense, the scenes never look like someone just forgot to turn the cameras off.
The Shutter Island moment was NOT a blooper, it shows that there was no glass, but that the character believed there was !! Alan Rickman's early fall was NOT a blooper Thomas Howell looked at the Director, not the camera. Also, I guess you don't know what a T-bone collision is :/
You gotta change that music, was gonna watch this but just came off of your last video with same music for 5 mins, can’t do it for this video for another 5 mins , change up the music
These 'never knew they were being filmed' claims are total bullshit. I mean, some of them may be right, but why does the Fight Club scene have two camera angles. They were just randomly shooting golf balls, and TWO cameras were set up to perfectly get them in frame. BULLSHIT.
Imagine being on set of a Stanley Kubrick film. You have already shot that take 30 times, because the master wasn't satisfied and then you slip and fall on your ass and Kubrick says "perfect! that´s a wrap!". LOL
"if I broke my neck they'd still have a movie" love Alan Rickman
Two camera angles and decent lighting kind of debunks the "Fight Club" story.
Most of these stories are utter BS.
"Accidentally" knocked out Sarah Silverman. So he says
Moral of the story:
Basically anytime someone fell down in a movie but got back up in the same shot it wasn't scripted.
Spaceballs - not a blooper (ad lib)
Alien Resurrection - not a blooper (a happy accident)
Lord of the Rings - not a blooper (a choice)
Ghostbusters - not a blooper (ad lib)
1917 - not a blooper (doing what he was directed to do, the literal opposite of a blooper)
Phone booth - not a blooper (ad lib)
The departed - not a blooper (ad lib)
Dumb and Dumber - not a blooper (ad lib)
The Dark Knight - not a blooper (acting choice born of costume)
Die Hard - not a blooper (intended by stunt coordinator)
The Martian - not a blooper (just… acting!)
Spaceballs (again) - not a blooper (a choice by the director)
Seriously, what are you even doing?
The Shutter Island one isn't a blooper? They did it to reflect Teddy's mental state considering they're not allowed sharps as inmates.
Yeh its literally part of the plot lol
It was a continuous theme with water throughout the movie.
Was just about to comment this too.
The one for Alien Resurrection they were expecting to do 3-9 takes and miss every time, they had multiple cameras on it then would splice in the ball going in on it's own.
Her actually doing it on the first take was the surprise that took Ron P. out of Character.

He wasn't paid enough to risk injury.
If was charging a machine gun post I wouldn’t be in a hurry to get up and run to my death.
I find the fight vlub one hard to believe, i mean, there were many cameras pointing to exactly where they were, it cant be that simple
Agreed. That's not the only iffy one, either.
There were other scenes filmed in that location as part of the film, likely on the same day/week. So while those 2 were just pratting around on set, having them turn the camera's on isn't much of a stretch. Still iffy, but it would logically explain why there were camera's pointing there. Probably all these are made up.
Yes, the famous "Mordor scene" from "The Fellow Ship of the Ring".
That was on Tatooine right?
As for "lip licking" of Joker, that is called "tardive dyskinesia" and happens to people who have been on antipsychotics for a long time and suddenly stopped taking them. So, even if accidental, worked great for the character.

I love watching reused clips
4:42 that is not from the thumbnail
Blooper and intentionally trying something off the wall are very different but great vid as always :)
Agreed, that lack of distinction bugged me. Also, the bit where Arnold does the thumbs up is identified as a blooper, but it was an intentional choice, in the script or not.
Not trying to hate, but many of these aren't bloopers, just improvised.
This video is either a re-uplode or 100% stole from somewhere cus I remember watching this whole thing with the exact same voiceover a few days ago
yes improv is blooper
Or neither; the Fight Club one includes a crane shot, which means it was blocked. These are just random things.
Improv technically is bloopers. If it's not planned, it's a blooper.
Sigourney Weaver: [scores 3 points facing away from the basket]
Ron Perlman (in Polish): TAK!
In the movie " Don't Drink the Water" there is a scene where Dom Deluise has his clothing catch fire by a candle(if I remember correctly). It totally looks like a real accident and Dom looks really scared as he puts it out. I honestly think it was a blooper left in.
El Camino the breaking bad movie
SPOILERS
When Jessy shoots through is own jacket it catches fire, as the extras are leaving past him one says "Dude you're on fire", that was never meant to happen.
Meanwhile during an old Joker reenactment video my friends and I did, I kept licking my lips because the makeup felt so weird and dry.
Scott's fall in Dr. Strangelove and Belushi's fall on the steps in Animal House were great.
most of these are false
Terminator 2 4:14 I always thought the thumbs up was a genius move, a great way to send off what was considered an emotionless machine with a human gesture
Source: trust me bro
The Mordor scene? THE MORDOR SCENES? Dude it's the council of Elrond!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
you can almost see through the storm trooper's helmet that he was holding back his giggle, "that's gotta be hurt"
Joker licking his lips is actually a tick that Heath Ledger had irl, which he emphasized for the character. You can see Heath lick the corners of his mouth frequently in old interviews.
Dude, Michael man knew how to make collateral look fucking real
The title should read, “When movie bloopers were too good to (be) left out.” Yes, I am the grammar police.
Then arrest yourself. You used two commas in a row after the word "read". Also, corrections on the internet are marked with an asterisk, not parenthesis.
P.S. I deliberately left a grammatical error in my response. Can you find it?
@@-TheShaun- "asterisk" is a spelling mistake, not a grammatical error! (Sentence started without capitalization due to quote.)
Some of them where Very Funny so Thank You ;
Mark Hamill WAS Luke Skywalker.
You know it makes a lot of sens I mean no shot the stormtroopers can't aim correctly (that good one)
Lmao accidentally knocking out Silverman was deadass hilarious like seriously sounds intentional
Ive nevered paid attention to that fire martial bill
I always wince a little bit when I see people mistakenly cite the "missing" glass of water in Shutter Island as a blooper.
1:49 *This is not a blooper* but a detail about the twist at the end of the movie about the main character mind
Only Tom Cruise can make accidentally falling / tripping look so cool!!
Donald Glover made it look good too. Cruise isn't the only one.
Title: "When Movie Bloopers Were Too Good to Left Out!"
Last line about the Alien Resurrection "blooper" of Weaver making that shot: "Ron Perlman nearly screwed up the shot by celebrating out of character. That's why the shot cuts as soon as the ball goes through."

They are all great movies!
jim carry being jim carry in his films lol
I would have bet my ass that those lip licks of the joker were inspired by Klaus Kinski. Learning never stops 😀
i've watched Cool Cat Saves the Kids over 20 times and never noticed that
"One does not simply memorize a script wrote the night prior at shooting"
How can a CGI character be improv? It's added well after live action finishes. There's no way that Rogue One scene wasn't planned and scripted.
Most CGI Characters are motion captured. Most of the times, there's an actor who's playing the part right there with the rest of the actors, it's better because actors play off of each other's performance. Then they get scrubbed and replaced with the 3D Model
Some of these shots use multiple angles, so it makes you wonder how many of these really are bloopers or just made up to gain attention to the “myth”.
A travesty.
stop reusing already used bloopers/improvised shots in your videos
Stop being a dink 😆
haven't seen any of this
Wait, i haven't seen any of these
How about you stop crying about things and move on. I've never seen these.
Yep the Donald Glover clip was in another of his videos I watched yday
sigourney weaver is badass^^
"Accidentally" knocked out Sarah Silverman...
4:03 that is the stupidest “rumor” I ever heard
it was all slow like, like it was MEANT to have been done. channel is just running out of ideas
Yeah I call bollocks, was definitely part of the script.
Wait wait wait… I’ve never heard of the one about heath ledgers joker!!! Wooooooooah!!!!
jonathon winters didnt need a script.
Turned the two cameras on Ed and Brad
Sorry, I didn't get the one from Gangs of New York❕
He had already a fake axe on his back. When the guy throws the axe at him, that axe is shown falling to the ground, so there are 2 axes at that scene. It's hard to miss, but you can see the thrown axe bouncing off and falling on the ground.
Not bad for 1863…really you think this was filmed in 1863? A rubber axe…😂
okey, grown the channel enough using the same clips over and over, time to buckle down and actually do something to deserve the subs? Maybe? Just a friendly hint.
That being said, kudos for the Arnold thumbs up. That was a goofy fun one.
Yeah, "leave", is word
Fun Fact: Ryan Phillipe actually knocked out Sarah Silverman on purpose because everyone in the world asked him to.
The terminator thumbs up wasn’t in the script?! 😱
1:39 I remember seeing this as a kid and I was like "wait wtf???"
Ah yes, the CGI robot improvisied a slap and they left it in...
The dude playing the cg character is in a greensuit.....😅
I just noticed Felicia From Phonebooth is Felicia from Friday.
The cgi robot spontaneously had 7,000 programmers spend hours making it slap him?
Alan Tudyk was on set acting out the part of K2. The CGI was just put over him . ua-cam.com/video/LGMl0kYkiso/v-deo.html
Fight club one is bs, two perfectly placed cameras just turned on in a street... sure.
The one about Heath Ledger and the Joker's prosthetic scars is incorrect. Ledger had improvised that detail about his portrayal of the Joker as a way to unsettle his costars. It had nothing to do with the make up or prosthetics.
Good scenes, good movies ! ... 😊👍 They don't make them as they used to ! ... 😞
Fellowship not Fellow Ship... obviously.
strangelove is classic
Once again, incorrect use if the most overused buzzword of our time "iconic."
THAT'S the Tom Cruise slip you chose to include? Dude literally broke his leg on camera.
The Fellow Ship of the Ring??????
so are they improvised.... or bloopers?? Crossovers
"Too Good to Left Out!"? You mean, like the word *"Be"...?*
1:42 let mi show unsumthing!
I question if some of these were bloopers they decided to keep or just bad editing.
I never buy the b.s about "they didn't know the camera was left on"
First off, there are at least two camera angles, so what two cameras were just left running, and somehow both actors are squarely in frame in both of them?
I'm sure the actors didn't know that part made into the movie because there was more of a scene that ended getting scrapped halfway through filming or something like that, but every time someone tries pulling this same nonsense, the scenes never look like someone just forgot to turn the cameras off.
Everyone subconsciously wants to knockout Silverman.
6:07 "homer moment"
4:55 i do not believe this is true.
Stanley movies
But if you keep the camera rolling
The Shutter Island moment was NOT a blooper, it shows that there was no glass, but that the character believed there was !!
Alan Rickman's early fall was NOT a blooper
Thomas Howell looked at the Director, not the camera.
Also, I guess you don't know what a T-bone collision is :/
*ad libs
You're missing a "be" in your video title.
You gotta change that music, was gonna watch this but just came off of your last video with same music for 5 mins, can’t do it for this video for another 5 mins , change up the music
1:49 This isn't a blooper. This was intentional.
Sarah Silverman was punched although it was a mistake? Shiz, it made my day. I can't stand her!
Not Cool Cat 😂😂😂😂
To * Leave Out
Or, to be left out.
So who's gay?
I might be wrong but i thought a t bone was more of a direct hit vs a sideswipe which is ehat it looked like to me in the French Connection clip
That’s not a t-bone kid.
This is good bullshit.
Leave out…. Or “too good to be left out” not “too good to left out.” Just saying…
This guy doesn't understand the meaning of a blooper. Improv does not mean blooper.
8:03
And libs are not bloopers.
Neither are ad libs.
The fact I just found out that Sarah Silverman actually got knocked out is so wonderful....its made my day thank you.
The fight club one is bs.
These 'never knew they were being filmed' claims are total bullshit. I mean, some of them may be right, but why does the Fight Club scene have two camera angles.
They were just randomly shooting golf balls, and TWO cameras were set up to perfectly get them in frame.
BULLSHIT.
Im pretty sure almost every single one of these is a lie
