Hello I just discovered your channel by Googling native plants to North Carolina. I have a thin wood on my property and want to grow some native plants there. The trees are pines by the sun does make it through to the ground. Some animals are rabbits and possum
I hit the post button. Con't... and lots of birds. The reason for wanting to plant flowers, besides the beauty, is for the birds do you have suggestions for the flowers? I live in Rural Hall.
Some people may think they are overused, but the area native and thrive in NC -- azaleas! They provide shelter for wildlife and produce beautiful flowers AND some varieties are evergreens!
