Completly agree with you. The practice tests online dont compare to the real test and I had to reread some questions a few times before understanding lol
I finished the exam feeling unconfident but managed to score 794.
Some questions are quite easy but theres some that will have you confused for sure as it feels there could be more than 1 correct answer.
I would advise any1 to not just learn specifics and details but also learn the wider context of each topic as them type of questions had me stuck the most.

Yeah…..took it once . The questions are worded very strangely. It felt like a non primary English speaker wrote the questions. That was really confusing. It’s bad enough the studying was tough…..the questions are very weird. I failed because i could not understand what they wanted. This goes for the ccna test which i failed twice also too.

They do it on purpose to see if you’re paying attention and can differentiate between terminology. I’m studying it now and have to read very intently

I managed to score a 726 but the questions were really hard .Alot of the questions i did not understand what was being asked, I studied a lot between reading the text book ,watching UA-cam, taking practice test and using google for deeper research on different topics.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Even though this is an entry level exam, it is no joke, and does require a lot of effort to pass.

Fundamentals go with anything in life. Fundamentals are your building blocks for progression.

I totally agree with this. The 80/20 rule says that 80% of the results come from 20% of the efforts. Of course, it is great to know the advanced topics, but on a day to day basis, simply knowing the fundamentals can be so helpful. This applies to life in general, but I think it is especially important in IT. Although there are always exceptions that do require professional help, the vast majority of IT issues are caused by simple problems with simple solutions.

question, When you say that the questions were text comprehension and confusing, the answer was multiple choice? or to develop a written answer?

The questions were multiple choice, but I think it was confusing to know what they were asking if that makes sense. Best of luck on the exam!

Outside of the comptia and meds certs practice questions what other resource would you recommend for practice questions?

I'm not really aware of any other good practice questions. Best of luck on the exam though!
