  • This 1939 dress by designer Elsa Schiaparelli belonged to Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester. Schiaparelli was known for her unique style; she collaborated with surrealist artists and experimented with new materials. This dress is no exception, with intricate and unique details. Assistant Curator Isabella Coraça takes us into the dress store at Kensington Palace and reveals what we know about this fabulous piece of couture, now on loan to us from the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

@@elderlypoodle9181 I havent unfortunately. I have a copy somewhere but i have no idea where it is. I am fascinated by the 1930s and Schiaparelli in particular although I do see Dali and Surrealism as a bit contrived and not my cup of tea. I love biographies as well, I actually think that Ryan Murphy should make the next FEUD series about Coco Chanel and Elsa Schiaparelli. Or...since they scrapped Charles and Diana due to the recent popularity of Harry and Meghan no doubt... they should still do Princess Margaret and Lord Snowdon.

But not every video featuring real people is reality TV.
There are 2 reasons why top YT personalities/influencers with millions of subscribers DONT put music over their own voices. a) great presentation and content doesn't need it. b) YT subscribers overwhelmingly prefer their channel presenter not to use it.
