Zombie is such a beautiful sounding song. Perhaps in one of top 5 Day6 title tracks. The Xdinary boys did so well covering it too. Not even my song but I feel proud of how good they did here 👏🏻🥺
Put yourself in April of 2020 and picture listing to this song for the first time. I didn't bawl but there were lots of tears listening to this song. Especially when you heard that Sungjin and Jae were taking a break for MH reasons and the band was not going to actively promote the comeback. That album is my favorite Day6 album! It doesn't have a MV, but the song Afraid by Day6 is so good

DAY6’s discography is seriously amazing, definitely recommend checking out more from them.
XH are so good already and they’re only in their first year of debut. I can’t wait to see what else they come out with.
Love this song, mean really much to me. Jae's voice hits hard, miss him, miss all of them together.

I apologise in advance for the 2 long comments I'm about to write, but it's day6 and i literally can't control myself, sorry lol
Zombie is such a beautiful and heartbreaking song (that's day6's specialty, i guess). A lot of us has felt like they say in the lyrics, so this song was like a hug and a shoulder to cry on for us mydays. God knows how much I cried listening to this. It hit too close too home. I love it, but it hurts to hear it tbh. I wish I could shield them from feeling like this, but what can I do, right. Also, Xdinary Heroes did such a good job covering it, I still need to learn more about them, but I was so impressed!
Oh, one more thing that maybe some more in the loop mydays can help me with: although jype said Jae left the company and the group, Jae himself said that he is only on hiatus from the group, that one day he'll be back. I don't know if he has said something different since then, but honestly I'm still super confused and there's still some hope in my heart for ot5 back. Maybe it's the delulu in me lol
So happy to see you checking out Zombie and the cover!! Such a beautiful song and such a well done cover. Zombie probably one of my favorite Day6 songs of all time. Would absolutely recommend checking out more of they're music, they're one of my favorite groups/bands of all time.
Day 6 has a Zombie English version as well. The lyrics are slightly different than the Korean. I highly recommend Day 6 discography.
Day6 has yet to release music without Jae (except EOD) and won't be complete until 2024. So it's safe to say you'll still get Jae if you continue to react to them until day6 releases new music as 4. Still holding out for an ot5 reunion tho.
Jae is in all Day6 full band MVs until their latest one, which is You Make Me. There is a sub-unit that he is not a part of though. But all full band MVs existing so far were released before he left.

Now, about the suggestion for more Day6 songs for you to one day check out, I honestly have to say you can't go wrong with Day6. Ask any myday and they'll say Day6 has no bad songs and it's so true. If you decide to react to them again, I'll forever be grateful, I loved seeing you react to them on this video (thank you for that btw and thank you Brian for suggesting).
That being said I thought of some suggestions for you that showcase their versatility, their beautiful lyrics and/or their amazing live vocals. Seriously, Day6 is at its best when it's live. They once released Sungjin's (the leader and guitarist) singing the guide for their song Afraid and when I tell you it's heavenly, I'm not lying. And it was only just a guide wth! Anyway, here are 5 of them:
- I Need Somebody: it's again heartbreaking and beautiful and so relatable. The lyrics omg!
- Letting Go: a lot of people have this song as their favourite or at least top5, that's saying something when they have such a greta discography. There's a channel that has a live clip from a concert where they sang the original version mixed with the rebooted version. You get the best of both worlds, so I highly recommend that and not the mv. Also, vocaaaaals!
- 121U: a darker and harder vibe, so you can see their versatility. It's so good.
- Goodbye Winter: I'm still amazed how they can sing with so much emotion and heartbreak. The bridge is incredible. There's a channel that has the live from everyday6 december with english subs that is quite good.
- Dance Dance: a happy crazy song (finally lol), the mv is just them being weird and sleep-deprived in YoungK's, the bassist, case (it was shot during his uni finals), it's so fun!
But if you want to do a comparison again, there's a live video of I'll Try, it's a beautiful slower song that Wonpil (keyboardist) wrote to his mom. The harmonies on this song are out of this world! Seungmin, I.N and Bang Chan did a cover for this and it's just so perfect, they did amazingly. So proud of them.
And if you're in the mood for story line: Congratulations and You Were Beautiful are connected. And there's the School trilogy, where the members play students and it's quite cute. The 3 songs are What Can I Do, I Loved You and When You Love Someone.
Holy sh*t I wrote a lot. Once again, so sorry! I have a problem with Day6, if you didn't notice. I just want the whole world to know them 😂

@@biamarrucho8214 they were the 2nd kpop concert I went to because my friend is a myday 🥰saw them 2019 and first hi touch experience I'll never forget.. usually people get bias wrecked...nah my bias confirmed his place 😄

@@biamarrucho8214 it was amazing 🥰 it was before I had a decent phone so I just have low quality vids on my ipod 5s 😄 the hi touch was rushed a bit but ill never forget and what confirmed it for me was that I was giving them hand hugs(didn't have time to explain I felt some were confused 😄) but sungjin was last and he held onto my hand and stared at me for like 3 extra seconds 😭it was like he looked into my soul. I think I have a thing for doe eyes and why jungkook is one my wreckers. I can see why they've been compared
I hope you can react to more Day6 and XH in the future.. their songs are really good 🥰

Zombie is a song that I legit started bawling whenever I heard it for the first time I was struggling so much and I felt so understood and comforted this song holds such a special place in my heart ♥️
XH are so good I love their sound so far and they’re just such talented boys I’m so excited to see more and more from them :)

i love your reaction to wonpil because yes i very much agree his tone is so unique :) i think he sings more of a nasal and it makes it that piercing beautiful tone ! I recommend How Can I Say its my fave day6 song and made me realize i bias sungjin. I just love a rasp in singing. I need somebody and dance dance i saw recommended in the comments are great choices. I never fully deep dived myself but i love their music from what i heard and saw them in concert 2019. Last suggestion is Beautiful Feeling because the drummer dowoon has a small line but oof it made me smile hearing him sing :)
How Can I Say is one of my favourites too! I just love how the lyrics are not the normal break up song. It's usually from the point of view of the one getting broken up, not the one ending things.
