bro fame is the scariest shit, it's literally like a drug, if you mess with it too much you get too lost in it. Like it actually sounds like the most terrifying thing to experience as a human, especially nowadays. In the very least I'd like to be like a famous architect or athlete type of level of famous, where if you know you know type of fame really. But it's hard for those of us that are more into the more media/entertainment type of career paths, because it's almost impossible to be a great actor without being drenched in fame
Well actually, everything can and will be a drug to someone. As long as said person consider this an access to happiness / escape from reality. People nowadays need to learn to set their own goals, rather than have everyone else set standards for them. People need to sit down and consciously think about what their choice / goal will bring them in their entirety, instead of only focusing on the positive aspect of it. (or rather, the long-term, opposed to the short-term) Fame always was a goal for a lot of people, it just got twisted by how it's marketed to people. "staying relevant" is the most fucked up thing i've heard people say when they're asked what their goal is... It also comes to the fact people view some careers as way better because of all this "logic". Why is acting viewed as THAT much of a good career ? Why is model the same ? To me it all comes to down to people taking the time to think about those, for themselves, rather than always unconsiousy asking for someone else's opinion on the subject. An advice i can give to everyone, is that if you're good at something, like to do it, work your ass off to make money out of it. It's generic, but you might end up happier than someone endlessly chasing something so ephemeral that it might escape at any time.
I agree, this is a unhealthy society full of unhealthy celebrities, i can tell you mentally i have struggled alot with the alone feeling, not being able to trust people, this video and how joji portrays his music videos hits me right in my feels. Thanks for posting.
This is such an amazingly edited video. Not only that, I feel it's so important for your younger demographic to see this. It really does worry me the amount of young people that want to be famous for literally no reason other than just to be well known. Like damn, get a talent, focus on that talent/skill and have fame as a RESULT of your talent, no one should just want to be famous.
dude I've been working hard on making art for myself and on the way gotten a small SMALL bit of followers. Even just 7k for doing good work stresses me out a ridiculous amount. I dont think I want this level of sight.
This! I feel like most people I talk to who want to just be famous for the sake of it don't consider the downsides, hard work, and luck that also factor into it.
Yeh, cause it’s all about building up work gradually and getting accustomed to fame. The poor youth signing deals with these corrupt record labels; they’re being propelled into fame way too quickly
@End Times Is Now, This Is No Joke the thing is that there has been cases of people not handling fame and just peacing out the industry. But these kids either ignore it or call the person "weak." It's a very narrow view and I'm not liking it
U also shouldn't base your ambitions on proving people wrong, because then u automatically become a slave to other peoples opinions. Just do your thing however u want.
Exactly. Humans have the need to be recognized, acknowledged and appreciated. Fame is a perfect conduit for all of those things. However, some people dont really take into consideration the consequences that come along with fame...
People wanted to be love but only to loved but to be able to survive and live in comfort but the price of fame has a lot of good and bad consequences to it.
what an absolute banger! really appreciated this insight, as a long time filthy frank (and now joji) fan, it was a really itneresting perspective that makes a lot of sense and is relatable in a lot of ways... thanks for the video :)
That... That would be impossible... There would always be an audience rating you whether you're good or bad, whether you deserve to stay or leave... The only question is how big or important is your audience?
Unfortunately no one can understand how negative being famous can become until they become famous themselves, so trying to dissuade people from wanting to become famous is pointless. I'm just glad I got a little taste of fame early on in my life so I'm not obsessed about it until the day I die. This was a great video by the way, subscribed.
I feel like that also plays into the idea of being the "main character" (theres this trend online where people do things they perceive that a character in a coming of age story would do) the want to be known and stand out from the pack without the invasiveness of celebrity status
Kinda weird really. those who stand out get bullied and ridiculed for not conforming to norms. They only want the "i am superior than you all" type of stand out
@@kawosdhdos idk I've always been called weird since I was like 11 and stills happens to this day, I always thought it was something bad, i wanted to be normal but at one point I was tired of being like everyone else I mean I couldn't get myself to be "normal" so I just started to be the way I am, and not caring of what people say and that's when my life change I met so Much amazing people for being "weird" I never think about it as I'm going to do something because I want everyone to look at me the thing is you just have to live to your life and not care about what other people think and that's all, but it can get into your head
After listening to Nectar... It seem like more of a warning than a cry for help... And in Joji's case It hits harder because people mostly remember him from his background than what he is now... Which he doesn't want to be remembered by... He's constantly reminded by comments where he came from... And if i were in his shoes... I would constantly be anxious about the reasons people listen to my songs... Is it cause they genuinely love them or is it because of the meme I created that people still cling on and hope to revive
time passes, but both his music and other videos will stay around, and there is nothing wrong with either, and people will come to that conclusion too eventually, and just appreciate that he was around at all if they like him. i think from his own perspective, you can reflect and like something you did in the past while still feeling the need to move on, it does not need to work as a replacement in order to bring in a much needed change, or whatever else is sought after. if a video or a whole channel genuinely frustrates him, if he is tired of being reminded of it, he can always privatize or even delete them. but its more likely he is okay with it being there, only it no longer defines him. its still a part of him and his past, and all the things we never got to see outside of these videos. in that way these videos can still mean a lot to him in ways we dont perceive, but that is fine too. they were never meant to convey more than what they showed, they were just silly fun to the viewer the meme videos and music videos can coexist, kind of like your weird comments on the internet from when you were a kid, while cringy, cause no actual harm when acknowledged how old they are, and gives an interesting window to your past. i guess its kind of rude to compare joji's old videos with kiddie comments anyway, i am sure he appreciates his videos and the work and effort put into them, even if his mentality and focus has changed drastically since then. just having put effort into a project is enough to create a memory from that past when you revisit this project, which can be pretty positive to experience when you acknowledge and respect any limitations you struggled with back then, especially your mentality. we all have to grow up, or change our ways, and the journey is nothing to be ashamed of
This makes me really sad. Like I really grew up watching Joji act stupid on UA-cam make silly videos and I always think about this, fame ruins people. Like Britney Spears? Like yeah they have all the money in the world but they become an object as soon as they’re famous. Everything is about money now. I don’t think we’ll ever move away from stuff like this, fame will always be a trap and for many, a false hope.
False hope and pretense that putting your personality out there would make you famous. There's something nice about creating something and sharing your thoughts and whatnot to this world- almost like an internet footprint. It's just that it's abused and has become somewhat toxic
@@dreaming1925 same im depressed right now. what are we suposed to do. how can i do something big with out all the attention. idk shit gets to me all the time ive always thought about this and it makes me so sad. i can say fuck money but with out it id be homeless. were all just puppets with distractions from this problem. its crazy. i think ill just save my money tell i get older and move away from all this. ive always wanted to go to japan out in the country.
"I wonder if social media gives a younger generation the impression that you should be famous just for existing" This is so such a solid point, in my opinion. In my case, I feel like I go in and out of that phase; I'm a teen and I am 100% sure, I wouldn't have known about 50% of the things in today's life had I got no social media exposure.
I would want to be famous without people really knowing who I am, my face, my voice, my name. That’s the ultimate form of fame or celebrity. To be known and be in people’s attention without them really knowing who you truly are. You can keep your privacy and anonymity while still getting attention.
Then you'd have to deal with people constantly and ruthlessly trying to ruin that privacy. Corpse Husband talks a lot about the anxiety his decision to stay anonymous has (ironically) created. Seems like there's *always* a downside lol
My 7yr old son is obsessed with the idea of making his own youtube channel at the moment. We have had a lot of arguments about why i would like him to wait until he is older to do anything like that. I've tried to tell him that he should want to make content because he enjoys it, not because he wants to be famous. He was stressing out because he thought all of his friends were making channels (which we have since found out is not true) and was afraid of being left behind.
@@ceeme03 dunno if I agree with that, the internet practically raised me. A lot of parents don't really want to play with their kids or take them outside, me and my sister would pirate anime and play flash games all day. The park and the library wasn't really a thing for me until I was old enough to take myself (as a result I'm online less, sometimes never). I never used social media or looked at dangerous shit, all I cared about was dress up lol...so it wouldn't have happened anyway. note: I was completely (and still am) unsupervised online. As I got older the internet made me ahead of my peers in my studies because of all the info and documentaries on there. Wow this is long now, but you get my point. Maybe the internet has changed since the 2000's but I sometimes revisit the places I went on as a little girl and my only real issue with them are ads and the rampant pay to win.
@End Times Is Now, This Is No Joke That's impossible to do now since a lot of public schools have been focred online due to this sickness. Close supervision + parental blocking is the best thing now.
*This reminds me of Pewds' thoughts of fame* that he thinks it is unimportant or insignificant if you want to be Happy. If one wants to be a UA-camr, do it because you love to do it, not because you want to be famous.
That fits the selfgiven resumee of Bukowskis life: "dont try" (on his gravestone). Even though he was such an ass he made it in his 60s as an writer, even if he wrote and published since he was about 20. But as he wouldve said, he didnt try it for the fame, he just lived him being a writer. Look him up and listen to the song 'Bukowski' by Modest Mouse. Its both kinda worth it in my opinion.

When I think of a classic case where fame kills someone I think of Avicii. He was a fairly reserved person whom fame took over and stressed out much like Joji. Only Avicii never confronted it and got caught up participating in drugs and alcohol only to be... well- dead. Mike Posners "I took a pill in Ibeza" probably portrays this best. I realize now what that song truly represents. It's so ironic because I never even realized it when it was so popular.
Joji is iconic in everything he does, his youtube channel has become a museum of the beauty of youtube. His music is a sweet lullaby we sing with Joy, Joji is everything an artist should be. Dedicated and humble
@@ktglittertime7697 I think he might be from the UK, the grade system is much different from the US and a lot of the times an 80% is the highest most people can go, and a 90% is only really possible if you're an Einstein level genius

Yeah I did it and broke through somewhat as an artist. All my friends are gone. They hate me now. I was really messed up over it truly but I read something an astrologist wrote that really helped put things into perspective. Paraphrasing here but it read that people are suspicious of me. People think that I consider myself elite. So talent and insight into things that most do not work hard enough to obtain or just plain don't possess similar ability does in fact elevate a perceived status among a group. This is where the break occurs. Once you become different by means of this perception you become a mirror that people you've known from all along don't want to look into. So here's the big reveal, they didn't really love you to begin with, you merely shared the common goal of becoming famous! That is everyone in the world mostly. We don't have love for eachother because we are all set on this goal of elevation over eachother. We form social bonds by relating to other people who are on this quest in a similar fashion. We find common ground to feel confident in traversing towards a successful life direction. Friends are an illusion and you don't see the illusion until one of the friends makes a break and elevates. I swear to God though if they just let me get through it and if they stuck by me and were sincerely proud of me, I would have had the opportunity to elevate them. But alas no, there is no patience among traitors.
Thoticcus Prime Not if you actually have something going for you in art, or think that you wanna pursue the road of getting into the industry doing what you love whether it be painting, drawing, music, comedy, whatever. Definitely a relevant topic nowadays, industry is evil.
I realized after the Osbourne’s shot to stardom because of their reality TV show and watching Kelly stumble into over eating and depression, watching Jack stumble into drinking and drugs and even the hogan family- their family was very affected by their reality TV show as well. I just noticed that when families had reality TV shows they would fall apart also another example is the newlywed show for Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey. I used to want fame when I was younger of course because I was young but now at 34 I wouldn’t want fame anywhere near me or my family.
I'm so happy to see people making videos like these, giving a real insight into what really goes on in people lives on UA-cam . Its really helped me re think a lot of my goals. so weird to think if I haven't have seen certain videos at the right time I would have probably hit a dead end.
I think they're labeled NOT SONG because he had announced he would be releasing a song prior to those videos, but he wanted to clarify that's not the song he was talking about.
I remember when narcissism was looked down upon (not even 20 years ago), now it's praised and rewarded. It DISGUSTS me. I look at social media/celebrity stars as the pathetic creatures they realistically are and I wish the rest of society would too. P.S.: I don't want modern fame. Fortune would be nice (struggling so hard financially sucks)
Weirdly I'm noticing something a bit different. People are becoming so used to type 1 narcissists (overt) that they're starting to notice more of the covert & malignant types, who are arguably the worst types. The over-normalization of type 1 egoists though is definitely a bit worrying, particularly for young kids. It was bad when we (millennials) were growing up but it's even worse now.
monsters? that's rough, not everyone is Jake Paul. Putting them on a pedastol and spouting this shit amounts to the same thing, dehumanising them. They're fucking people, just like you. You don't know anything about them, they want the same things as everyone else and have given up other things to get them. You don't get to call them monsters (unless they use the platform to abuse others, but that's a different issue). At the end of the day we're the ones who make them famous. This lacks nuance. And people still don't like narcissism, down to earth people have loyal fans, assholes get cancelled or "un-stanned". Gimme a break.
@@meemzing Type 1 narcissists often find themselves in positions of power, and this has always been a thing, because people like assertiveness and especially lose a bit of common sense in groups (I'm not immune to this, I've experienced it, most if not all have). Definitely not a new thing.
Came here as a Joji fan. I’m lately watching so many videos related to him. And this one really hit me hard. I mean that’s a study / theory behind Joji’s production, but the whole video is great also for a non Joji listener. I loved your thoughts, but also all the work behind them. That’s a bigass video, I can see all the effort you put here. And the celebrity topic is really interesting. One of the best videos I’ve seen so far. Big congratulations
Fame and money or not inherently related. It’s probably the worst road to wealth honestly. Yes I would LOVE to be rich, I want to be wealthy. But I’d rather die than be famous.
i want meaning in my life, to wake up and not feel like its a chore. to feel like i have something to look forward to. to be a part of something greater than myself.
The best way to find meaning is to serve others. It’s cliche but once you stop worrying about your own will and take your focus of yourself, you’ll not only learn more about you but you will learn more about others in the process. ❤️
Exactly. For some it's just about purpose. Imo a better word for it instead of fame would be status. Like I want to be appreciated for being good at something. It doesn't even have to be the whole world
@@SV-cg8vh I would agree but humans are selfish by nature (or at least I think) and serving others and worrying about them is very tiring. It's very hard to know when you dud enough and eventually suffer from it. (Sorry if this doesn't make any sense, I'm just writing what's in my mind)
The video, the editing, the data, and "the message", it's amazing. It's so dark and deep, but it's our reality. Many thanks for paying attention to those details and for sharing them.
This is such a damn good bit of content. Seriously the detail and breakdown of so many situations and accompanying description of the psychological nuance behind it kept me captivated the whole vid. Nice
Dude is an artist through and through. I'm not surprised, but I didn't think to look retroactively at the other videos after gimme love made it more obvious.
oh wow, that's a perfect description. It actually feels so awkward, I always ask the algorithm not to recommend me celebrity personal shit and yet it keeps popping up.
I love Joji including his work, personality, emotion, and art. I really appreciate this video because even if it missed the mark or hit the target it still helps us at least try to understand him a little bit more just by taking the time to analyze his work. What’s even more impressive is it’s from a different perspective other than the music it’s self, which most of the time is the main message, and instead we get to dive in to imagery and symbols.
5:58 is what I hate about contemporary fame. bragging with money, scamming children and putting cringe and stupid content on social media.... and it somehow works.
I think that explains the toxicity of TikTok as well. TikTok on its own isn't bad, but it has been under so many controversies with very questionable and outright harmful trends performed by some of its users, especially among the kids and young adults, who are so obsessed with the idea of fame that some of them would go through great lengths to get even a little bit of attention regardless of how those actions will affect them and others at the long run. When that high dose of adrenaline and dopamine kicks in and it's over, what's left? is it really worth it?
It’s important to talk about his earlier work, on UA-cam with the frank persona, his health really suffered, and he started having seizures due to the stresses of his being forced to continually be in the crazy box he was pit in. Especially with the constant mention of pink guy, even now, when he wants to be a new person
I can't speak for the rest of the Gen Z or the younger people around my age but, what I can say for certain is that for me its not a matter of being famous its a matter of being remembered, recognized by someone, for somebody anybody to acknowledge my existence even when I pass on to not be forgotten. And fame is the only way to achieve that. As George Elliot once said Our dead are never dead to us, until we have forgotten them.
You mean validation. I get it, as a Millenial who had some self-esteem problem, existential crisis & depression since forever. But I learned the hard way that you can't seek validation from other people, as they don't have the power to acknowledge you or your achievements. They might even reject you hard when you go to them about it. Why? Because they're also still building themselves & arranging their own life, even if they're so much older than you. Nobody's perfect, & nobody can reassure you until they thoroughly know themselves first & are confident about themselves & if the world flow doesn't affect them in the least. This is where you have to be different, & be stronger. If not for yourself, it's for the people you are close to & love. All you need is the motivation to go forward. & by moving forward, you need to look in front of you. Glancing around is fine, but when you start to walk, focus on the road ahead of you. Stop looking at other people or look for obstacles & instead find a way around them to not bump into them. Take care of yourself so you will be able to validate yourself. You do exist. & when you realise you exist & live your life, people will also notice that you are. One phrase I always remind myself when I realise what state (both mental & physical) I am in: "You won't see yourself dirty when you sit & stay in the mud." Try to get out of that mud when you realise what's happening to you & you'll see how you need to clean yourself up & move away from that mud. & don't get back in. Sometimes most people will not lend their hand to help you get out of that mud, so you need to first crawl out by your own effort. Sorry for the essay though. Good luck & stay focused on yourself & your own life, first & foremost.
Being remembered is for people from history books. No one will remember youtuber or anything like that obviously. That's only way to achieve immortality.
how about just dying? imagine a world without us human and the only thing that exist would be earth, animals , plants. Human will never be able to accept simplicity and nature, just like how we are talking about such thing as "FAME" here. We are complicated.
Rich Brians "See Me" seems to really touch on this subject. The way he portrays a feeling of "loneliness" in the lyrics are very interesting and he also goes on about presumably how he is "in too deep" so he can't drop out of being famous
The Filthy Frank show was created to poke fun at internet fame though. Filthy Frank is supposed to be the embodiment of everything you shouldn't be online. Shocking for views.
I dunno but my niece loved this weird kid.. loves? Idk 😐 but i can say hes basically equal to the Hansen brothers were to older folks.. this is nothing new really... just teenage hormone bait... basically i think...
I love this video. Joji is a great artist tbh. This topic that discuss reminded me of watching A Star is Born (2018), Rocketman, and Fake Famous, an HBO documentary.
I've been thinking about the meanings in joji's videos, but you really went for it, great video, really interesting the pov you explain! I think sanctuary is also part of this "universe", so im gonna watch it and think about what you said hahaha
I see your point, I feel like the juxtaposition of the idea of the sanctuary as something pure versus the idea of this "universe" as something obscure and maybe dark really give joji the edge to be able to discuss important topics. I agree with you Catalina thank you for bringing these topics to the table
Fame fascinates me. How fame affects people's mentalities, their relationships, etc. If I were to become famous, I wouldn't want to put my looks to it, rather my ideas and talents. Creating a massive distinction between you as a person and you as a symbol gives you control, obscuring your identity allows for freedom.
You say this now when you arent in the position to do so, but when you do reach that position you'll blend in just like every individual with fame, and or money. I'm not hating on what you're trying to say, just being realistic, and not idealistic.
@@rnr3483 oh, I'm not trying to say that I would be different, moral, or particularly stand out if I were to become famous -- there's a reason why so many who gain fame fall into one another's footsteps. I was just trying to make the distinction between a persona and a person. I was thinking more along the lines of internet fame where it's easier to create that distinction than with traditional celebrity statuses. Should've made that clearer. But I get your point 👍
I kinda wish Cardi would post calm videos where she talks like this sometimes, I feel like even her image needs it, she would get more empathy for it. I'm not the biggest fan of hers, especially for the shitty things she did or said, but I really think everyone needs a chance to show who they really are, you know
I think that this is a great new perspective on how George thinks. He always came off as a hilarious guy and everyone loved that but deep down that just wasn't who he was. And I'm glad that he is now doing something he loves as a job without having to show his face to much. I think he has created a wonderful career and I hope he is happier now.
You hit every point perfectly, this is a really important video and I stare now even deeper into the void of the ever descending dystopia that is America.
I feel like this video should be retitled to something like "An overall analysis of fame" vs. it being titled about Joji. It seems like Joji is just being used as a vehicle for the overarching messages about fame vs. it actually being about Joji and his relationship to fame
@@777-m4q yeah I can understand that, but I guess moreso what I mean is that I don’t really feel like his videos are as relevant to the points being made in the video. They apply, but the points feel so general/vague that they could be applied to anybody who is creating social commentaries on fame/dark side of social media/etc. whether that’s through music, tv, etc. and Joji just so happened to be the example that was chosen. We never really get an in-depth analysis of his music/videos/even himself, but we get more of an analysis about the subject of “the dark side of fame”. Of course that’s just my opinion though and you’re always welcome to yours as well! I think either way, the video can be enjoyed though and the points are valid regardless and we should all be more mindful about how social media/wanting fame can affect our mental health. Have a good day! 😊
The people who are featured in the video from the responses are used as examples of what to not be. Observation is a very powerful tool, my mum always tells me to observe. Now that i'm 19, i feel lonely because my peers already went somewhere else (fame and high life). It feels like you know everything but you don't. I feel like an eye traversing time recording history. Remaining stoic and remaining neutral. There's just so much going on in life. I am thankful for deeper topics like this being discussed because now i feel at home. I have the friends i have and they're people i can rely on. I don't have fame but i do want to one day entertain people. That's my goal. I understand that one day if I do achieve fame. This is the knowledge i have, from observations, from videos and everything. Life is tough, the industry is tough, abuse happens. That's why knowledge is really powerful, along with observations. These people who are dealing with fame are on a whole level of mentality. And it's something to learn from.
I've been at a hectic stressful point of my life that sometimes I want to be famous in order to get rich. To have an "easier" life... But I also want to kept my privacy, prevent myself crumbling from heavier pressure especially with society expectations. So I'm still somewhat grateful.

An advice i can give to everyone, is that if you're good at something, like to do it, work your ass off to make money out of it. It's generic, but you might end up happier than someone endlessly chasing something so ephemeral that it might escape at any time.
So true. Fame is scarier than heroin.

Which is the premise of "Gimme Love"...? It's very obvious in that particular song but yea I get where you came from
Honestly I never knew Joji was that meme guy, I liked his songs first before knowing his hilarious past 😂
time passes, but both his music and other videos will stay around, and there is nothing wrong with either, and people will come to that conclusion too eventually, and just appreciate that he was around at all if they like him. i think from his own perspective, you can reflect and like something you did in the past while still feeling the need to move on, it does not need to work as a replacement in order to bring in a much needed change, or whatever else is sought after. if a video or a whole channel genuinely frustrates him, if he is tired of being reminded of it, he can always privatize or even delete them. but its more likely he is okay with it being there, only it no longer defines him. its still a part of him and his past, and all the things we never got to see outside of these videos. in that way these videos can still mean a lot to him in ways we dont perceive, but that is fine too. they were never meant to convey more than what they showed, they were just silly fun to the viewer
the meme videos and music videos can coexist, kind of like your weird comments on the internet from when you were a kid, while cringy, cause no actual harm when acknowledged how old they are, and gives an interesting window to your past. i guess its kind of rude to compare joji's old videos with kiddie comments anyway, i am sure he appreciates his videos and the work and effort put into them, even if his mentality and focus has changed drastically since then. just having put effort into a project is enough to create a memory from that past when you revisit this project, which can be pretty positive to experience when you acknowledge and respect any limitations you struggled with back then, especially your mentality. we all have to grow up, or change our ways, and the journey is nothing to be ashamed of

I would want to be famous without people really knowing who I am, my face, my voice, my name. That’s the ultimate form of fame or celebrity. To be known and be in people’s attention without them really knowing who you truly are. You can keep your privacy and anonymity while still getting attention.

First time viewer, I thought this was really interesting and well composed. subscribed
The guy went from moaning eating spaghetti to make us deconstruct our idea of fame
The Filthy Frank show was created to poke fun at internet fame though. Filthy Frank is supposed to be the embodiment of everything you shouldn't be online. Shocking for views.
@@torm0 that what I called rebranding lol

Ravioli, ravioli what's in the pocketoli?
I dunno but my niece loved this weird kid.. loves? Idk 😐 but i can say hes basically equal to the Hansen brothers were to older folks.. this is nothing new really... just teenage hormone bait... basically i think...
Came across this video now, really love everything about this video. Keep it up! Ive always wanted to create video essays but i have never dared.
another banger love your channel donnahhhdhs
DURTE DOMM ILY ❤❤❤❤
What Poppin
No way she liked this comment?!??????? Tf
Everyone wants fame but not everyone knows how to handle it.
I truely agree with you, I also think that Sanctuary has a meaning in this whole thing. Thanks Catalina for bringing that up!
Fame is idiotic at t me, something dumb humans care about. and yes I dont consider myself human anymore
Joji after seeing this: "yeah... I totally meant that"
Seeing the clip of Cardi B, in my eyes, really humanizes her and i appreciate you including it
Rishabh Deb oooo
cardi d
I kinda wish Cardi would post calm videos where she talks like this sometimes, I feel like even her image needs it, she would get more empathy for it. I'm not the biggest fan of hers, especially for the shitty things she did or said, but I really think everyone needs a chance to show who they really are, you know
still hate her imo
Who tf is cardi b 🤮
Joji's music is genuinely good. I didn't really watch Filthy Frank, so I didn't have any preconceptions about his work.
TBF, even during his Filthy Frank era, he already have some real talent in music
This is one of the best videos Ive watched on this platform in a long time, really well done
I feel like your channel is underappreciated. I love your deep dives.
Joji is a visual artist, thank you so much for bringing attention to this!
Insert Ellen DeGeneres when 'fake' and 'narcissistic' comes up... The Hollywood personification👌
This is a really well structured video, well done. :)
Holy shit Joji songs have a deeper meaning, and there was me just enjoying the vibe.
I feel like this video should be retitled to something like "An overall analysis of fame" vs. it being titled about Joji. It seems like Joji is just being used as a vehicle for the overarching messages about fame vs. it actually being about Joji and his relationship to fame
i mean joji really revealed it, only the one that understood the visuals joji showing is the one that gets the video
Underrated comment
@@777-m4q just a little slice of heaven
THANK YOU for making this video, it must've taken you ages to research and put it together, I just wanna tell you I appreciate your efforts. this video was just what I been in need for. much love, Donna!
I thought at first this was an interview video... wrong but glad I came here. This gives me hope because as a latin american girl I had the idea US ppl weren't aware of the damaged and irrealistic world they live. Feels like a relieve knowing it does exist ppl who are worried about how bad is all this new online era and its power. An excellent analysis. Keep the good job you're doing great to the world. (also I'm still learning eng, I apologize if there's any grammar mistake)
Your videos are SO well made, such high quality is rare on youtube
Hes still like his old self, just making his point with music videos
this video deserved a sub it had good points and had me at the edge of my seat and very intrigued the whole time hope to see great content like this soon! :)
