Bro the clip at 16:00 you can see Regi reveling at being argumentative, he is just smiling every time he argues, then stops as he waits for response, then smiles as he keeps going when no one is even talking.
He keeps hounding these arguments too and you can tell that everyone who enters these fights just realise halfway that its just gonna keep going in circles and they just say "Yeah sure" and Regi thinks he's come out on top and given permission to berate and talk down on them.
New TSM Roster Leak, TSM Reginald will be joining the lineup as the starting Top, Mid, jungle, Adc, and Support! He will also be their brand new coach! Very exciting news.
I remember watching the Dyrus clip back in the day. I've thought very little of regi since and quite frankly, I'm glad that his behavior is coming up once again in the community. Dude is a jackass, and his pro career was hardly notable. HIs biggest achievement is founding the org, and really even that is a debate of being in the right place at the right time (founded his team at the beginning of lcs when it was a lot cheaper to do so). Allowed the org to accumulate the funds they needed to fully franchise when the LCS opted for that model. Bullying is being called out in pro sports, look at the old clippers owner and now the suns and even the chicaco blackhawks. Power shouldn't be a greenlight to belittle employees and treat people like shit.
Yeah that clip is iconic because like, Dyrus is a non-confrontational person, you even see it immediately where he apologizes instead of continuing the argument and Regi just keeps hounding him over it till he snaps, and Dyrus RARELY snaps if ever.
Yet they all including Doublelift stay associated to TSM. I find it hilarious. Doublelift is literally still part of the team and dating the freaking President of TSM.
on parth's reaction thread. they still didnt say they told DL that POE and HUNI confirmed to be on the roster, the very fact that parth didnt mention this means they failed to tell DL they had a roster and made him commit on the spot without any knowledge of what he was committing with. that is still a problem with management specifically regi failing to communicate with him.
@@elvis4868 I could be totatlly wrong, but I remember when Piglet first went to NA everyone talked about how toxic he was. Im pretty sure like Korean soloq is just toxic asf
I really feel bad for Mike Yeung, I feel like him going to TSM ruined his future in League. If he had a team that was supportive like C9 with reappeared. They would do everything to make there new player succeed. Think Mike Yueng could have been one of NAs best junglers still.
It sounds like Parth/Doublelift are talking about two different timings. Perhaps Parth wasn't aware about Regi's conversation with DL. So Parth thought DL was "indecisive" until the last minute, while DL felt he was forced into making an early decision. There must have been a bit of time between the time DL is talking about (with only him and Spica on the roster) and when Huni and POE were signed (right before the Lost trade was set to go through). During that time, only Regi knew what was going on with all parties. Edit: Ohhh Leena's statement makes sense. Parth and Regi are talking about when DL called after Swordart and DL is talking about when Regi made him commit/kicked him much earlier.
Regis post try’s so hard to toe the line between professional and pissy gamer. You can’t put off this image of “professional organization” and constantly refer to his criticism as “flame “ even though that term is part of the gaming vernacular
That's what I'm thinking, that PR statement is in no way "professional", you can literally see Reginald trying to add insults between the lines and trying to discredit doublelift by calling him a liar. I can picture his PR people trying to convince him not to use certain language in a professional piece but terms like "flame" just slips out from time to time because even his PR guy is too afraid to say no to him lol.
im just imagining regi standing behind whoever is typing up the response flaming the shit out of them for not putting in passive aggressive remarks about how shit DL is cause he still satly as hell DL stole all the spotlight from him then stole his girl. You just know Regi has to have the biggest ego in the room at all times.

I couldn't imagine some dude I work with calling me a brat. Hella respect for Dyrus for not smacking the f@ck out of that dude. Feel like Regi has never actually had anyone check him in his life so he just gets away with bullying everyone.
Bro the only thing im thinking about is how nice of a dude WildTurtle is and how much I loved seeing him play. I hated watching Reggie talk over him like that and Xpecial was obviously the homie thru all this like "dude it wasn't the only reason..." And you can tell he isn't tryna badmouth his boss, what a fucked scenario
I think a lot of us woulda lost our job right there No way I could navigate defending the new guy, against my boss without accidentally breaking that paper thin skin regi has.
I think that part is more true than people want to believe. If Berg wanted DL on the team, DL would of been on the team. People are forgetting that he quit on TSM prior years, which I don't think Berg was too happy about. DL getting kicked is nothing new. Aprhromo and CLG kicked him, CoreJJ and TL kicked him. Each kick, DL was one of the best adcs, so it wasn't based on talent.
@@MrNodeee The difference is those teams had a player locked in already when they traded or dropped him. None of us are saying the dude is a great player to work with because he more than likely isn’t but I’m sure he knows the situation at TSM better than most mainly because Leena is the president of the company and she doesn’t shy away from talking about their business agreements with him(Dardoch situation)
@@mythnk1204 There is literally no difference. CLG had Styxy, TL had Tactical... TSM had Lost. Lost was one of the best ADCs out of Academy and not a far reach for TSM to follow TL's footsteps of kicking DL and bringing in their Academy player.
The thing about guys like IWD or DL is that while they May Day shit in a mean way, they’re not actually wrong from an intellectual debate standpoint. That’s the diff between saying things in a mean way and being mean for absolutely no reason like Reginald. Fucker will abuse any situation or advantage he has to belittle someone no matter if it’s warranted or not. The thing I hate the most about esports is the amount of people who would get their teeth pushed down their throat but because they got lucky they act like they are worth anything other than their money.
I've actually hated regi ever since I first saw the dyrus clip, not sure how someone can be like that to dyrus when clearly they were in the wrong just crazy
Them saying different things about people being/not being locked in might also just be a result of Regi and other TSM management not communicating with DL so both could be true. As far as DL knew, there was no certainty of a mid and top-laners but in reality they had certainty but didn't communicate that to DL
I'm 2 minutes into the video posting this, Doublelift just said "It would be my personal pleasure to see TSM never win anything again" and immediately became my favourite NA player of all time.
Around 22:00 I remember telling a chick in my class I didn't want her in my group cause she's inconsistent and she just started bawling. I still remember that day vividly so idk how regi can make numerous people cry and just be ok.
I'll never forget making my younger brother cry one time when we were all having fun out in the snow, I was trying to push him slightly down the hill into the snow but misjudged and he fell a lot harder than I meant to push him, sprained his wrist and we had to go to the hospital. Yeah I barely remember that day because my mind has blocked it how, I just remember thinking how terrible it felt.
When Andy spoke to doublelift, he left out that they had a top and mid on contract so doublelift decided to not commit to the team since that was the info given to him. Andy def wanted DL off the team so he left some stuff out. Ofc parth is going to say all these things about doublelift because he wants to keep his job and Andy is his boss.
Regi shows a lot of signs of an abusive relationship. He is always right, the fact that you question it is fucked up and really putting him out. Maybe if you really cared you would see it his way.
Regi isn't the product of abuse he is the product of coming from nothing with some sheer luck in a micro spec of entertainment and becoming a CEO of one the OG esports orgs worth close to 1 Billion dollars. This has resulted in the single biggest ego in the scene with excess in droves, I feel fairly confident he is a first generation abuser, He knows he has power over everyone around him and sees them as beneath him, always pushing people in the wrong way too see what he can get away with rather than to spark a even more fierce flame to fight on. He is never wrong even when there is overwhelming proof that he is the issue or is wrong; I.E The Blame Wildturtle clip - xSpecial tries to point out that the last death by turtle wasn't the losing point but that the various mistakes and devolving play across that match did it in, especially when you see a moment from the same game where Regi flashes over the enemy base wall as Karthus and immediately dies in typical inting league fashion that you'd see in d4 ranked, it wasn't going to be TSM winning that one but would rather resort to arguing that 'yOuR WrOnG cUz iM tHe OwNer aNd a BetTeR PlAyEr.' 'Say another word against me and your off the team.' He steps in as coach during playoffs and ultimately ruins a happy top tier high chemistry team and turns them into depressed group of un-coordinated zombies and then has the balls to say team diff my players are ass or coach diff draft was the losing point of the game. There is no way that even if we could see through his eyes and mind for a day that ANYONE with a good conscience will ever be able to justify why Regi isn't a Egotistical Douche canoe pissbaby that needs a good beating IRL to check his un ruled ego.

I never liked TSM because of the Fact Regi is stepping in their playoff everytime, I hate this attitude of I can do better than all of my staff, I didn't knew it was that bad, I believe 90% of the things DL said are, maybe the Top/Mid is incorrect but the rest of the things he said, are probably accurate, also if Bjergsen chose to leave the ORG, there had to be an internal conflict I don't believe he would've chose to leave so lightly.
"We can just group up and push" as he flashed into the enemy base to try to kill a Caitlyn with both summs and no minion wave while he missed like 99% of his Q's.
Man I've been in the scene from the beginning. It was so easy to love TSM. I mean they were the best. But I don't think we fell in love with Regi. We loved Dyrus and TheOddOne, we loved the Doublelift vs. ChaoX rivalry, we loved seeing Turtle get a Penta in his first professional game because Chaox shit the bed at MLG Dallas. Me personally I hate the bandwagon and Voyboy had just got Olaf nerfed so it was always Curse for me... but TSM was not hard to like. Curse was easy to like. Hai and the gang... Quantic's run (later C9) was epic. They were easy to like. The Rush Hour bot lane was easy to like. It was fun to support NA leage despite the lack of international success. But no... it was never easy to like Regi. Not only did Liquid's back to back to back to back finally remove TSM from the absolute top. It began the end of an era. That era where TSM was going to worlds... Who's going with them? This drama is honestly just icing on the cake.
I genuinely thought Svenskaren was a bad jungler back then but it makes so much sense he was just underperforming because of Regi bullying at that time because he always surprises me in the last few years often carrying his team and is really a good player since. In the end, there an ego and there's being oppressive to the point of affecting someone's mental health. Regi needs to not be in a position of power where he can do this
That's why Regi is Talent Suppression Machine boss, anyone that enters TSM no matter how good and talented they are once they become Regi's mental abuse victim they'll no longer be the same
Professionalism isn’t just about showing up on time and checking off work deadlines, you can’t impede other peoples work no matter what position you have within said company and that goes for indecency too. I wish we as older generations would protect our young from predatory businesses in teaching them their rights and how to navigate the world as a freelancer.
I truly can't believe this is controversial for some people, I've known for a long time Regi fucking sucked and I hate the culture surrounding TSM. That sucks because I like a number of the players and want them to succeed. I'm so happy to see Bjerg finally leaving them, good for him.
Best coach I ever had would not discuss games without video up and running. He was smart enough to understand emotions don’t make for the best recollection. Regi could take a page from that book.
I've been a TSM fan since season 3 (because of TheOddOne, initially) and I've always fkn hated Regi, especially as an owner/manager. It's so frustrating watching the org with the players I love getting so horribly mismanaged by a child with an inflated ego. If the team were run by adults, they would have damn near won worlds by now. It always sucked listening to Thorin shit on the org and having to be like "yeah he's right". I've been frustrated for ages but cutting BB literally made me stop following pro league, for the most part.
Thanks for breaking all the new stuff down. I’ve been a fan and watched LCS closely since season 3. So, the old stuff I’ve seen and already knew how childish Regi was/is. Crazy he never really matured.
I met and spoke to Regi's older brother when he was casting MLG Raleigh and he was polite, well spoken, super cute and confident. All of these create a standard Regi can't live up to and that creates an inferiority complex and hostility. Regi uses manipulation, berating and constantly harass/play on people's weaknesses in order to make up for his deficiencies. He's an abuser.
It's crazy how people are JUST NOW finding out about Regi's behavior, he's like this in Diamond Elo games to this day. These clips have been out for YEARS.
The saddest part are people like Theoddone justifying the behavior by saying that anyone who is successful like Regi has to act like a piece of shit and treat everyone poorly or they wouldn't be where they are. They are so conditioned into thinking that that's just how everything is supposed to be and that is really really sad.

@@Darkstormsun9865 Sure, Dom is entertaining to listen to and probably nice if you agree with him, but he's one of the most biased people I've literally ever seen lol. In every drama he goes super hard for the side he thinks is right. And I say that as someone who thinks Regi is an absolute dipshit and def more wrong than DL
"Turtle isn't the only reason that we lost - I don't need to watch the replay." Damn straight.
This right here is relatable and I think that's a big reason why it's blowing up. If anyones been through a toxic environment where you felt powerless in work, school etc because of someone's authority know you aren't alone.
When Dom got to the part where he was talking about Regi telling him he's ugly and Dom said that it's ironic because it's Regi saying that I completely lost it xDDDDD
XD same. I was like goddamn someone finally said it lol
Highlight right there!
New TSM Roster Leak, TSM Reginald will
be joining the lineup as the starting Top, Mid, jungle, Adc, and Support! He will also be their brand new coach! Very exciting news.
Looks like TSM will finally win worlds this year.
Finally I get to listen to Doms take about this shitshow
Wait you mean people arent perfect?!
@@KjtheGreatPro dont excuse shitty behavior with shitty excuses. This is a pattern not a one off.
Yet they all including Doublelift stay associated to TSM. I find it hilarious. Doublelift is literally still part of the team and dating the freaking President of TSM.
100% I hope that brings awareness to other work forces too. It's honestly everywhere it's based off the type of person that gets into power/charge.
on parth's reaction thread. they still didnt say they told DL that POE and HUNI confirmed to be on the roster, the very fact that parth didnt mention this means they failed to tell DL they had a roster and made him commit on the spot without any knowledge of what he was committing with. that is still a problem with management specifically regi failing to communicate with him.
I dont understand how regi can say its always 1 persons fault other than his own when he was always the worst players on tsm

I'll never forget his Gragas where he barely contributes in fights

TSM probably got someone to write a general PR statement
That's what I'm thinking, that PR statement is in no way "professional", you can literally see Reginald trying to add insults between the lines and trying to discredit doublelift by calling him a liar. I can picture his PR people trying to convince him not to use certain language in a professional piece but terms like "flame" just slips out from time to time because even his PR guy is too afraid to say no to him lol.
@@muyangcheng3874 this is probably watered down version of his statement,he probably wrote down his take and someone in PR had to fix it up a bit.
im just imagining regi standing behind whoever is typing up the response flaming the shit out of them for not putting in passive aggressive remarks about how shit DL is cause he still satly as hell DL stole all the spotlight from him then stole his girl. You just know Regi has to have the biggest ego in the room at all times.
Regi in a thread: "Oops we may have hit a minor snag over here boys, hoping we can all pull through"
Regi on cam: "You're a fucking annoying brat, you don't do anything so fucking useless, idiot"

Doublelift apologizing to Regi about roster changes doesn't even matter because Regi doesn't know what apologies are. In the words of Dyrus "I SAID SORRY" lmaooo
Holy shit I actually was scared when Dyrus got mad, I’ve never heard him be like that
I couldn't imagine some dude I work with calling me a brat. Hella respect for Dyrus for not smacking the f@ck out of that dude. Feel like Regi has never actually had anyone check him in his life so he just gets away with bullying everyone.

ya truly lots of respect for xpecial its gotta be hard to speak up when it hurts ur career
I think a lot of us woulda lost our job right there
No way I could navigate defending the new guy, against my boss without accidentally breaking that paper thin skin regi has.
Regi saying that it was team decision to remove DL,while not having any player locked in is so stupid.
Regi saying that it was a team decision to remove DL, while also removing 80% of the roster.
It was Lost's decision to remove DL LUL
It doesn't even matter who is right or wrong. You don't conduct yourself this way EVER even if you're right.

The regi blue cards, I almost forgot, it's been years lol
Regi was actually flaming someone in the gaming room, while they were practicing before he flipped out on Dyrus.
I accidentally ran into my friends little sister when passing a corner in their yard, she fell and cried. I felt so bad
Of course he left things out. He told DL that SwordArt wasn’t going to happen and then TSM signed SA after DL didn’t commit.
17:53 Turtle looks like that yellow cartoon puppy in that "This is fine" meme
@@mhodgson986 I wasn’t saying he was the product of abuse. I was saying a lot of what he says in those clips trashing people or going off on Dyrus are what you see a lot of abusers do in relationships.

I actually have to fast forward through the Regi clips...I feel like I'm watching an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm
Why doesn't Reginald just play himself clearly he knows best
Because in worlds 2013 he got so shit on by Faker and other Asian mid laners that he never had balls to attempt it again. He played Gragas vs Faker,he didn't E a single time towards SKT always to run aways,he was always alive with full hp after each fight, and he was fucking shotcaller in TSM.
@@Scarlet_moon. I'll never forget that Gragas game
He was basically a glorified minion
I never liked TSM because of the Fact Regi is stepping in their playoff everytime, I hate this attitude of I can do better than all of my staff, I didn't knew it was that bad, I believe 90% of the things DL said are, maybe the Top/Mid is incorrect but the rest of the things he said, are probably accurate, also if Bjergsen chose to leave the ORG, there had to be an internal conflict I don't believe he would've chose to leave so lightly.
They didn't tell DL that they secured Huni and PoE so it's management's fault lack of communication
"We can just group up and push" as he flashed into the enemy base to try to kill a Caitlyn with both summs and no minion wave while he missed like 99% of his Q's.
That Regi guy really never got hit in the face did he? id love to invite him in to our gym for sparring :)))))
I was thinking the same thing😂
50 MINUTES AND 33 seconds. This is going to be the highlight Of my day
Regi acts like an abusive asian parent who power trips with everyone, changing the topic whenever he realizes he's wrong and pulls the leader card
Off-season drama remains one of my fav parts of the league scene.

I truly can't believe this is controversial for some people, I've known for a long time Regi fucking sucked and I hate the culture surrounding TSM. That sucks because I like a number of the players and want them to succeed. I'm so happy to see Bjerg finally leaving them, good for him.

I've been frustrated for ages but cutting BB literally made me stop following pro league, for the most part.
xpecial sounds like a good dude, a great guy have on your team, not just league

Thanks for breaking all the new stuff down. I’ve been a fan and watched LCS closely since season 3. So, the old stuff I’ve seen and already knew how childish Regi was/is. Crazy he never really matured.
Another one for Thorin but finally glad this is getting talked about.
Can't wait to see all the TSM fanboys try to justify any of Regi's actions
Damn miss u since worlds ends.
I will love to see the day TSM is no longer in LCS.
Or Regi kicked as TSM CEO
Bring back relegation and let CLG and TSM beef it out for the last spot lol
It's crazy how people are JUST NOW finding out about Regi's behavior, he's like this in Diamond Elo games to this day. These clips have been out for YEARS.
The saddest part are people like Theoddone justifying the behavior by saying that anyone who is successful like Regi has to act like a piece of shit and treat everyone poorly or they wouldn't be where they are. They are so conditioned into thinking that that's just how everything is supposed to be and that is really really sad.
kinda true tho.. if u are just a really nice guy ur team would be full of silvers players because 'they were the first to ask to join' or some stupid shit. being not nice is kindof a key tenet of success
