It's totally understandable that you're avoiding facing home without Duke, In think it most of us had the choice we would all do it. Also you can travel because you don't have the responsibility of a pet so enjoy it ❤

I am missing Grandma Rschel time😊. Please sit and interview her, story about her parents, how she grew up, girl friends before she as married, who taught her to cook, wher did she meet her husband, does she have siblings. Favorite travel locations, ...do the same for your Mom. They are called Legacy videos.
One of my favorite videos we did was, touring my Moms house, and he telling the stories of the grandfather clocks, my grandmothers china, the family flowers that we carry from home to home, give the heritage iris to each new family homeowner.

As hard as it sound, I think you should have another dog. It's not betrayal to Duke, it's just bringing the joy back to your life. I was a dog owner all my life and my last to dogs live 16 and 18 years old so I know wht I'm talking about. You will always remember Duke with love but if you can't enjoy your beautiful home, I think it's time.

I was in a 5 year long relationship and when I found out I was cheated on, I left him.
I always kept my own flat so I had that place to go to and yet, everything reminded me of that person that even in my own home, it was hard to breath. It was so hard to breath that I started traveling like a crazy person. I worked remotely from where ever I went and I was back home hardly a week each month and when I was, all the feelings of being unable to breath returned.
This was 3 years ago… I’m still traveling. One day it just becomes second nature and as my therapist says, I need to work on that because ai can not flea forever.
She's right hunny you can't run away from life for ever. 😊❤
Sorry you were in that situation. It's definitely time to sell and move to a new place. Your home is supposed to be your sanctuary.

Hey girl, I have been following for YEARS. It has been helpful and entertaining watching your videos throughout my own ups and downs. I am so so sorry you're going through what you're going through with your grief. Feel all of what you have to feel. Take your time. Do what makes you happy and hopefully you find some sparks that make you feel like you're honoring him and yourself.

I think between losing your precious dog and breaking up with your boyfriend (even if it was for the best), maybe you need to sit and just be still for a while. Miami and travel and drinking are all distractions. You seem to have a precious personality and heart.
I say this every week. But nothing would motivate me to my Sunday workout than an Ameila vlog. You’re so bubbly and real. And yes we all miss Duke 🐾❤
The good thing about your job is that you can travel. Don’t feel guilty about trying to feel better and talk about how you feel with someone that can guide you when you feel like it. Have fun and enjoy! Happy Easter 🐰

Glad you are having so much fun. I m in the next state over Atlanta. The difference is night and day but we have the same weather. The nice thing is that i can drive to florida but most times i fly it’s quicker. Love the beach. This was the best makeup/ haul. So many fun products. Thanks for sharing.
Honestly i think you can make any place fun it’s just your personality. I’m the same way. I really want to move to a city closer to the beach but not florida it’s slightly more north east but still two hours from the beach which i think is perfect. i wish i could just click my heels and be there already but i’m working on it. Enjoy having fun we only live once.

This vlog was so good Amelia, makes me wanna grab a coffee and sit and do my makeup with you. I lost my Grandpa in December as well and I feel you for some reason it doesn't feel real. I also lost a Tia a week ago, life truly is difficult sometimes and we have to face that a day at a time. ❤

I totally agree with you on Cle de Peau concealer it’s simply the best and bought it thank to you. It lasts forever, I used it since couple of months you literally need a stroke of it and blend it with a brush. Stays perfect all day without creasing unlike many. I used to use Nars before, but this one is way better.

The US has a higher voltage that’s why they blow up in the UK. All Uk electricals work in the US just not as well. So curlers take longer to heat up and dryers are less powerful.

Need to say 2 things real quick! Definitely get a lash lift (similar to a perm but allegedly less harsh) I have really long lashes but they’re unfortunately very straight, used to curl my lashes daily too, but afraid of the damage (I would often notice some would fall off even if I tried to be as delicate as possible) and went for a lift… looooove it, now I’m addicted, 3 treatments in and the keratin gel my beautician puts on it has made my lashes grow even fuller!!! Secondly, I was looking for an easy but cute, grab-and-go s/s bag too and I’m definitely going to go for a bucket!!! Unsure if it’ll be a Dior jacquard bucket, a Gucci mini pink bucket or the loewe canvas and leather one 🥰🥰🥰🥰 on my book bucket bags are back in!!!

Amelia I want to send through a hair tip for those greys. Instead of the L’Oréal spray you need to apply each time you go out, why don’t you try out the L’Oréal casting creams gloss.
You just need to mix it up and brush it on the greys leave it for 20 mins and wash. Will last you for 2 weeks.
You use the spray with so much precision, this would be super easy and more permanent.

Does Amelia speak really fast at times or is it that the editing speeds up the audio? At times it's so fast it's hard to grasp what she is saying as it's like a sped up helium effect.
A lot of influencers cut and trim so there’s no ums and aahs like in normal speech. Sometimes on top of her being a generally fast speaker it can seem even faster with the fact there’s no gaps haha.

true story almost burnt my 1st place in Athens GR with my GHDs, just moved fr Canada, plugged it in, it made this sound like a demon no jk sparks shot out of the adapter thing then it caught fire. Thank God I knew where the fuse box was to cut the power. hard lols now 😆
I also destroyed my Canadian hair straightener in Athens, Greece (at a hotel)! It made a loud popping sound and a bunch of smoke came out. Glad you stopped the fire from spreading!

You are probably are running away because Duke is not there but you need to give yourself some grace. Everyone handles grief differently and this is just your way to cope. When you are strong enough and have accepted that he will never be there physically waiting for you, then you will be home more. Duke will never be far from you. He is there in your heart always.♥
Look both things can be true. You could really enjoy traveling. Now seems like a great time for you to do it. You could also be avoiding home because the silence is deafening and there are reminds inside and outside that constantly remind you of Duke. But one of the hardest things about grief is that it will trick you into thinking that you done. It only takes one found toy or one vivid dream to make you feel that loss. Allow yourself the grace to feel how you feel in the moment or that day. Sometimes your heart is going to feel light and sometimes your heart will feel heavy. Lean into both feelings. It is how we heal.

eyelash perm aka lash lift is fine, it hasn´t damaged my lashes that I have noticed. Sure you can´t do it back to back (like 3-4 months apart) but otherwise all good🙃

Gem whitening products do work unless your professionally whitening your teeth and using it as a top up. I’ve tried it before professionally whitening my teeth and after.

My dogs died years ago I still cry everyday ! I still think they are home waiting for me.
Going to an empty home can be hard. I completely understand. My advice would be to get a housemate. They will pay you rent and it gives you sense of friendship. You will never feel lonely. Sharing your home can be difficult but think about the positives like the connection you make with someone else. Having a girl housemate is the best. You can talk about your date and life in general.

Ok.. Mom brain is officially kicked in. Darling, loss is a part of life. And it always will be. We lost our darling pupper Miah 1 month ago. It still hurts to look out the window to her favorite spot and not see her. I’m really worried that you are just running away from your sadness. I really think you should talk to someone about what you are feeling. Duke would want you to be happy and want to keep loving puppies that need love. Not this second mind you, but soon.
