Hey, I love Zilla as a kaiju too, but he was kinda made to be a rebooted take on Godzilla even if it didn’t turn out too well, that is pretty much the whole reason why we have Zilla Jr (the Godzilla from the animated series that actually acts like a true Godzilla alongside being the fastest Godzilla in franchise.) and the Millennium Era of Godzilla movies (Godzilla 2000 to Godzilla: Final Wars) and why Zilla is now confirmed as his own separate kaiju.
