i have a glotin of paris alto clarinet mpc. its workmanship is exquisite and made of the highest quality rubber i have ever seen. however its only an average player. its tone is very dark and the mpc isnt very tunning friendly in regards to a440 . do you know dale feddel? he has one heck of a mpc collection
I've found that a lot of dark mpcs don't have any baffle and just drops straight down from the tip rail. I have a few like that. Dark and sometimes not very responsive. You can get this problem too if it's refaced too deep in the tip area.
Hi Steve, small typo, the brand is Lelandais (not Landelais). I visit the Chedeville Lelandais workshop in Ezanville in 2019, but they were making only top quality pads, no longer reeds or mouthpieces
Thanks. That was less than 2 months after my stroke. I know I had problems spelling, speaking, walking, generally functioning, etc. I recall just not being able to spell that, changing my mind many times. See my April 25, 2023 video about that.
Thanks. Getting better. Those videos for several months probably 80% of recordings were scrapped, rerecorded, etc due to speech slurring and stuttering, forgetfullness of what I was talking about (even with a script), etc. Doing much better now.
