You are a great band.
Keep your style and joy playing this wonderful music.
Brilliant. I am a big fan of this kind of music. I love Tuba Skinny and the Shake Em Up Jazz Band especially.
Lovely Regards to you from Germany Dave.
By far , the most accurate and energetic version of this song I've heard. Great job !
Search for the version of "Tuba Skinny"! 🙂
@@Wurstteufel I've seen it. It's obviously very good but I prefer yours because of the authenticity of the alto sax instead of clarinet.
@@blackbirdsocietyorchestra8471I think the style of the solos are too modern. I think a New Orleans style is more appropriate for this song
@@matthewkim8291 well, with all due respect, then you obviously are not familiar with not only this type of music but this song in particular. Duke Ellington was probably the most creative arranger of his time and had some of the best players in his bands. He is not from New Orleans and this song should not sound like New Orleans. You should listen to Ellington's version , then compare it to this version and you'll see they are giving it 100% justice .
Hi guys, your rendering of Jubilee is very good ! Its a very difficult piece, and you interpretation is very good ! By the way, although you are based in Amsterdam, tthe names of your members sounds mostly like Spanish or spanish ancestry ! Any clues ? LuiFur from Bs As Sgentina
Thanks for your comment, glad you liked it! Indeed big part of the band comes from Spain, but living in Ámsterdam at the moment! Hugs!
Try Tuba Skinny 🎺
Very High Class Band. And: ..... Young Men as well. Question: Pepijn Mouwen (Alto Sax) - What Nationality?
Nice to hear that you like our music! I'm dutch, and so is our banjo/guitar player Cem, the rest of the musicians you see are from Spain (so yes, it's a very international group, to answer your other comment)
@@pepijnmouwen2620 Thanks for your answer. I have contact with Cem and with Ellister (trumpet) and they told me about you and this band. Stay All Healthy!
@@pepijnmouwen2620 I like Dutch names. A favorite name is Jaap van Zweden, where Jaap is pronounced "zap" in English. (He is music director of the New York Philharmonic, and Dallas Symphony earlier.)
you need to come back to Berlin ASAP
(please)
La classe unita al talento! Bravi ragazzi!!!!!!!!! Spettacolo.
Each has their own Miestroe
Story to tell. All Miestroe at one time

Molto bravi!!!
Buon arrangiamento e tempo per un brano non facile
Yay! Happy music. Your talents are greatly appreciated.

1:26 microtonal beginning!

brilliant, guys. a keeper. :)
More than beautiful! Thanks!!
About 9 different tempos in the first 60 seconds.
Fabulous! Amazing!!
Bring back the alberts?
Fabuloso 😊❤
Nice job. Enjoyed it.
Lots of great things coming out of Netherlands/Holland these days, you guys are at the top of the list. This piece must be from early Ellington. Sounds like Vaudeville in many ways. Very enjoyable, gentlemen, and I hope you keep them coming. Very fun music!!
Suena de miedo!!!!
Espectacular!
Fabulosos
Eccellenti!
👍
Good, but not as good as Tuba Skinny.
Same quality at least!
get a new trombone and you’re gold

Amazing!!!
Thanks!!
More videos soon!

Fabulous 👏👏😁🏴
can i buy the sheet music?
Hi! I'm the clarinet player of the video. I can send you the arrangement if you want, if you give me your email address :)
@@martimitjavilacasals8426 Hi, also a clarinet player here who is interested in the sheet music. Is it possible to receive an arrangement as well?
Awsome, i thought Tuba Slim were pretty good but these guys are way better. Really tight feel & good tempo. I would imagine that these guys are semi professional or professional musicians like myself. Musicians know when a pro musician is playing. To be honest i am not a dixie fan but when you hear a tight fat sound then you can only appreciate it. Good luck guys with everything. You have just got another subscriber, thank guys. I was glad to see no wash board scratching. It really is quite ridiculous to watch.
Tuba Skinny has embraced busking as a way of life. These guys have a lot of formal training, but none of them are on Shaye Cohn’s level. Who else can play the coronet like that? Yet she embraces the life of a street musician. There is a spiritual aspect to TS playing that you’re missing.
