The one & only ...
Doesn't get much better than that for me ! So dynamic and melodic.
Billy was a genius at drumming. I love this composition and his solo kicks ass too!
Capo! 🎶🎵
Maestro billy cobham🔥🔝
Awesome solo. And for 1974 the video quality is very good.
Glad you enjoyed it
It looks like today
His speed and power is insane!
Mad skills thanks for sharing.
Brilliant band too
That's so great. I admire him very much
Digging that electric trumpet player!!😮🎉
That would be the great Randy Brecker
This is one of my favorite tunes from Cobham. It really jams heavily!!
This was my favourite kind of Billy drumming - when the snare is constantly going on as part of the regular drum beat - it gives it a propulsion forward and the potential for things to go off the chart…
Have the lp...played Tenth Pinn drum solo that many times so got CD too.I never knew what kit this was... is it a Fibes kit?, Cobham`s best sound I always thought, especially with the clear heads. That gong drum...Awesome playing as ever. Thanks.
One of the best drummers ever. Lenny White got real close to this level, but I believe Billy had a drive and energy that was just unmatched by anyone
Except Buddy Rich
@@MrDougiew1 I love Buddy, but he couldn't drum with that much power for that duration, and there is no video evidence to suggest otherwise.
Prime!
Looks like early concept art of Spongebob on the back of his t-shirt. Cobham is amazing!
Boy that amazing speed he has reminds me of Rufus Speedy Jones. Excellent Technique Billy has. Love this guys amazing solo.
seen him live at a drum clinic in the 80s awesome drummer.
🤯🧨👏👏👏
😳🤯
haha even the audiennce has to applaud in some rythm after that !
Today? Nobody can touch Billy
Tomorrow neither
Pity that after he shaved off he was not the same anymore.
Great in his prime, now, not so much. Next..
Do you expect him to keep the same playing ability at 80 years old? Da fuck
@@albitcapinigro1107 You are very opinionated.
Can you play drums as well as Art Blakey, Buddy Rich, or Billy Cobham jnr?
