  • BEITBRIDGE MODERNISATION PROJECT is a $300 million initiative to upgrade and rehabilitate the Zimbabwean side of the busiest border post in Southern Africa, connecting South Africa to Zimbabwe and other countries in the region. The project,, will improve the efficiency and capacity of the border post, facilitate regional trade, and deliver social infrastructure to the adjacent town of Beitbridge.     @zbc news i went through Zambia borader last week umhhh its in a sorry state. While we say welldone for the work in Beitbridge, or again welldone. But lets do something about other ports too.

    Lets hope they will keep the standards high by maintaining the buildings on a daily basis. They should also learn good customer care services and not the Zimbabwean style of shouting at customers in most government departments. Should stop the arrogance and know that they should serve the customer not the other way round.

      No as it costs neighboring countries who now need to up security, we all know Zimbabwe loves to steal smuggle and violate our laws. It's a amazing this project went through when all that was needed was a railway line to get your goods to port. We will be sure to up the fees and security our side on South Africa. Maybe Zim will start using Angola or Kenya ports instead
