Hi Theo, another great tutorial. Just want to say thank you for all that you put up. You are the best source for interesting grading ideas for Resolve.
Great Job!
Thanks for the tutorial helped me alot!
Really nice, especially the 2nd clip!👍👍
Love this one! Thank you!
awesome, thanks!
Real Good Stuff - thanks!!
Nice, Thx for this.
I think you should call it 'My New BEST Orange Teal Technique'.
Very nice tutorial!
Thanks for the tutorial! I'm trying it for the first time now.
At 1:26 you say to click ctrl+H to only see what's going on in the node, but you meant shift+H! :)
I watch these even though I don't know davinci. You have a good voice.
some good fusion tutorials would also be awesome.
cool
blender combined with fusion 9 tutorials?
Hey i wondered if you could take a look at a couple of my grades, i have seen a few of your videos and i like your style and just wanted your opinion if you have somewhere i could send them.
ive been trying to teach myself how to use resolve for way too long, finally watching some tutorials and yours are the best, one question though, when you first start on the layer node in the beginning you hit ctrl H to only see the layer you're working on, i'm stuck on that, ctrl H doesn't do anything for me and i can't see anything in the preview except the original node, what am i doing wrong?
+Cory Kramer command + h on a mac ;)
Puzzled me too. It's ctrl shift H
Another steller tutorial. A real easy to remember method of getting that popular look. Thanks Theo.
Some beginner Blender tuts would be awesome. Always happy to start learning another program.
cool stuff Theo, thanks. . .
Always solid Theo!
Which video card do you use, bro ? Does GTX 1060 6G can run this App smoothly?
GTX 750 with 1 Gb runs and does not crash )))))
lol you dont need a powerful gpu for editing, its about the cpu. Ram for previewing better and SSD for fast loads of heavy/big footage
Just thinking about Blender..... 2.8 is really going to be a big change for all of us, Maybe we need some cross over tutorials. Oh yea, then there is Davinci 15 to think about...... Here we are at the foot hills of another learning curve......
what these clips were shot on?
ursa mini 4.6k he says it :)
best tutorial out there
Nice video, I just have a question, is what happend with the hair of the last girl acceptable? I mean, getting part of her hair out of the qualifier (making it blue), because that is the kind of stuff that makes me wanna hang myself when grading but, if it's acceptable then I can relax a bit.
Also, Blender beginner tutorials would be awesome.
+Fernando Quant RS it just depends on what you're going for and what the client wants. I liked it so I left it in, but if it was a shampoo commercial there's no way it would stay. Don't get hung up on what's "correct" and just do what looks good to you.

Thanks for the reply :D
how easy it is to get a key also highly depends on res (detail) noise and compression artifacts. The better the footage, they better your keys will be..
I guess that helps too, which explains my issue, I work with a non professional camera so... there's that xD.
Btw, correct me if I'm wrong but, sometimes some TV shows get some color leaks too right?
Great Video, Thanks. No blender here.
Can you go a little faster and just zip that pointer faster around screen please. Great thanks
7:45 Eminem flow
I made it this far in the video I'm such a hardcore Meister media watcher.!
Holy fuck, and I thought I talked fast.
He ruined the second clip, looked amazing even in log form
indeed. don't know why this got so many likes. seems like people reckon everybody doing a grade in resolve a professional. this is very bad... for real color science see this one: ua-cam.com/video/SOWML0CLATc/v-deo.html
