FYI, the "hiss" sound happens when a ghost event touches a player. The only type of event tied to an oni is the airball/mist/smoke (whatever you want to call it) event. The oni cannot do that event. There's also no specific sound tied to an oni.

I just checked the wiki: the black salt can be used as a barrier to keep roaming ghosts in a spot and can affect a ghosts pace by making them slower by 2s :)

black salt is cool, if you put a line at the doors it will stop the ghost roaming by sending it back if it tries to leave.

I avoided watching these for the longest time bc I've never been a big fan of the horror genre. But one day it came on autoplay while I was working and I was only half-paying attention.

Love it Impulse, you make such good content 👍. I’m playing mostly solo on Phasmo, but the few games I’m playing in groups are sooo good. I got burnt taking a photo of a car alarm, I agree they need to sort it out!
For the jinn, it got a wild pep in its step when it saw skizz and then slowed down as it got close. It was hard though because of the timing of the smudge 😊

From what I understand, the oni thing is if it hisses then appears (I don’t know if events count) - though I’m sure impuse knows this now as it’s 3 months later lol
It’s a little tricky because sometimes you can’t see the ghostie when it appears after the hiss so you gotta like hear it a few times 🤷♀️
I have a challenge for Gem and Grian they must go into the house with only house evidence items that includes a camera so they can set one up in the room once they find that room.
The other team can bring them equipment but cannot go into the house with grian and gem.
This challenge also applies to scar if he plays.
Rules they can come out for sanity pills if they're sanity is below 30%
If dots and orbs are found they have to find the house evidence of ghost writing, EMF fingerprints, spirit box and cannot come out until those items are found.
Can come out if one of them dies legitimately from the ghost and not if by accident they leave equipment on.
A team member of the other team may replace the other person who has died , but can leave if there is too long of a wait for any other evidence.
Game mode must be set on professional just to make it easy

FYI Parabolic Microphone is not included in evidence as it does not count towards the evidence book.

As far as i understand Phasmo is that its not about a "room" but a radius around the ghost's spot. This can extend into multiple rooms. and so the situation with the run from about an hour to hour and a half in is that its room was the closet in the back but its radius extends into the neighboring areas meaning is has a bit of a roam or area of influence out of its small room. It was mistaken to be in the bedroom when it was not. The fact that it kept hunting from the side rooms should have been the tip off and everything should have been moved.
A way to look at it is that the twins can be hard to pin down on location, and thus get info, because they have a huge radius of effect. Meaning people are often looking in the wrong rooms. Because it was in such a small room there was effectively the same situation going on.
this is wrong, if you go on the cheat sheet, you can see the exact outlines of the rooms that the ghost could be in
@@Elliephh Yeah I dont buy that cuz on a map like sunny meadows ghosts often spend more time in neighboring rooms than their own room. The small rooms are not considered their own. So either ghosts wonder about 5x more on that map or there is some other constraint on their location.
Cuz in such a place they are effectively "roaming" because they will often not be in their "favorite" room, however their "roam" is always an adjacent room.
Which is why i believe there is more to it than a room being a hard constraint or more about an area of effect or influence. To me it makes more sense with their general behavior in game.
Especially with some of the big rooms. Its not like they wonder about the whole room evenly. They sit in a fairly localized focal point as if a specific spot in the room is their favorite spot and not the whole room in general.
