  • Isn't having money pleasurable? So how can money be anything but the result of good karma? H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche explains how our approach to wealth, and our attitude and behaviour that arises from having (or not having!) money, determines whether it is the result of good or bad karma.

Having money is good karma, if you teach your child from the beginning to give, they will have more and more and life will be very easy. I said it because i didnt gave from the begining so my life after knowing karma has changed in a late stage in life, so believing in karma and giving since the begining is starting with right foot, and it will be more probability to succeed, in anything. And of course not stealing which is bad karma of money concept.

I have many similarities to Tsem's path. Not competing or complaining, just some examples. The Abbott at the Julian street temple in Denver Colorado asked my mother to leave. She wouldn't stop touching the monks. The Abbott asked her if I could come study, she never told me until many decades later.
Over 40 years of police enforced violent abuse. Now I'm a refugee in Canada from what the U.S. and my family have done to me.
Perhaps that's why I understand Tsem's unorthodox teachings so well. Rude but true dharmma, I get it. Sadly, I think it's needed now.

I tend to believe that the more challenge or difficulties you conquered in your life. It’s a kind of attainments that help u to face death. People who has good and easy life they will never thought of renunciation from samsara. They will be shocking when they facing the so big difficulties they never had thought about it before.

It is the best oxygen for practice is it not. Is worry about others well-being truly compassionate then?

What Tsem Rimpoche said is true good karma can be damaging, fame, gain, status, praise, power, richness, and their opposite or negative side, this things make oneself get drunk in a certain way and it is possible by the influence of this to make bad actions. The Buddha said in some sutta to be careful about this things. I recommend developing in tought Hiri (shame of wrong doing) and Ottapa (fear of repercusions) and you will succeed in your precepts or ethical behaviour, and will be more easy to practice the precepts.

Please let me thank you for publishing this video. Having money is - like many other things you have or you have not - a clear result of Karma. There is no doubt about this fact otherwise the law of cause and effect do not exist. Judging if money is good or not good depends on ones personal perspective. This perspective includes everytime a personal preference or view whether a item or situation is convenient, nice, pleasant or not or the opposit.
One should not mix up the fact that to have money is good Karma with the problem how to deal with the fact having a lot of money and the problem what to make out of it.

      Hi Conscience,
H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche entered clear light on Sept 4, 2019. Prayers for Rinpoche's swift return have been composed and are available here: www.tsemtulku.com/swift-return
We encourage everyone to engage in these prayers as often as possible, not only to create the causes for Rinpoche's swift return but also to create a connection with Rinpoche, so that we may directly meet with Rinpoche's incarnation and continue to learn and practise under him.
      Thank you
