I do gotta thank you Wander for reminding of these games. I played so much of these games (ES,ES2, and EL) and you me playing them again. These games are awesome.
If the battles are too slow for you, you can set the movement and combat animations to fast in the options, that'll speed manual battles up significantly.
Ugh for years I hoped they’d make an Endless Legend 2 because it was such a great game. The DLC was always top tier too. I never felt bad paying extra to support the devs adding depth to such an awesome game
It might be their next game. IIRC the order was ES > DotE > EL > ES2 > Humanity > ED/DotE2 So it would make sense for them to make a sequel for Endless Legend next. Hopefully.
If you're still looking to learn the game, SB's Endless Legend playthroughs from years ago really helped me learn the game before I got it; a lot of in-depth explanation while playing and showing how to fight the AI on the more challenging difficulties.

It's so hard to find anyone making content on Endless Legend. I absolutely love this game so thanks for making a video on it

i finally started playing this after owning it for 10 years. i really love it.
I got my first win with the cultists. Having one massive city was easier for me to deal with than trying to handle settling
Endless legend is my favorite 4ex. You have so many different strategies depending on faction. Games never last too long. It's great.
that resource find was amazing at the end, 5 more and you get the super sword
Still one of the best 4x on the Market with Endless Space 2 and very underrarted.
