Cheers ! Today I did a marathon viewing of “Sailing with Ted”! So good to be back up to Ep 25 n seeing you on the tiller. Your boat seem to respond n turn nicely. Been too long since I was at the tiller of my Neptune 16 out in Puget Sound here in Washington State.. You’re doing great Skipper.. looking forward to future posts… Fair winds sailing, Papa J
Hey Ted ! Just found your boat adventures (Ep 25). Quite interesting .. Being West Coast American 🇺🇸 I’m having to get reacquainted with my grandma’s native chatter. I’m 77 yrs old here n had a brush with sailboats back when my kids were much younger. My late 30’s n probably to mid 40’s. I need to do a bit of backing up to get your first vids “Skipper”. Cheers 🥂 Papa J. Sailing ⛵️
Hi Ted. Lovely day on the Broads for your first trip out. Don't forget that when you have no brakes you need reverse to slow down and stop. Of course that's when using the engine. When sailing, I have no idea, I guess you do what you did, slow down and cross you fingers. I did cross MY fingers just to help you out, seemed to work OK 😀😀😀!
22 feet is 6.6meter. The way it turns clockwise the best is because jour engine hangs on the port side in the boat. so therefore its pushing the boat to starboard
Ted, your a natural 👍👍👍
Well done Ted.

A very successful voyage!

If you lose way before quite making the bank the Broads way is to pump your rudder over the last few feet!
Lovely day on the broads
Very well done sir, enjoy your videos very much. Is that yacht still for sale that's near yours as I'm interested. Cheers.
