Great show. Your thoughts are really appreciated and calling out the Democrats for what they are is so important. Thank you for drawing the parallel between colonization in the Americas and Israeli colonization of Palestine. According to Noam Chomsky Zionism began with Christians. Make no mistake, Israel is a fascist society. Colonialism is fascism.

"The Dupes of Empire". That appellation pretty well sums up the large percentage of the American population who are validating our current electoral process. The quasi-religious infatuation that the American People exhibit towards our entrenched duopoly and our current "electoral process" is prima facie evidence of successful mind control. Genuine democracy, the egalitarian "voice of the electorate" has been so captured and manipulated for so long that most Americans not longer grasp its profound significance. We have become a nation of "sheeple" that is herded by competing "farmers". We the People have become the Dupes of Empire.

As a Caucasian American I TOTALLY concur with the uncomfortable, disturbing parallels between US Government's antagonism towards indigenous"Indian malefactors" in the past and it's subsequent adversarial position towards ANYONE, anywhere else who resists American Government hegemony. The similarities are bone-chilling! The intentional abeyance of ancient, universal humanistic principles by a government agency should stop us ALL in our tracks!

    STORY
    TABULA RASA
    PaulTeich©️10/07/2023
    There was nobody there
    Everyone is from somewhere else
We are all from the rift valley in Africa
    Originally
Everyone else are immigrants who became indigenous somewhere else
Perhaps Aboriginal Australians are indigenous, since their genetics are different from the rest of us
Aboriginal Australians are about as Australian as Native Americans are American
    There was nobody there
When the English landed in Australia which they originally used as a Penal colony, just like the New World they began to speak with the people that were there, the indigenous.
The inquest saw animals they had never seen before. they pointed at a kangaroo and asked what it was. An Aborigine exclaimed, “Kangaroo”. Which in aborigine means, “ What the heck are you saying”? As an example of truth in history, we now have 33 different types of, “ I don’t know what you are sayings” hopping around Australia.
There were 100 million people there in the New World.
The indigenous people of the Americas crossed the bearing land bridge before Pangaea split and are probably from China
Why do you think it looks like South America and Africa fit together like puzzle pieces?
    Columbus came to the Americas
He was an Italian that spoke poor Spanish
He looked at the blank slate with 100 million people on it that history would claim didn’t exist, ever
He called them, Una Gente en Dios
    One people of God
Because they seemed so natural and unified
He did not call them, Indians, because he thought he landed in India
India was called Hindustan at that time, and the whole thing was a miscommunication, redirection and narrative change by the rich white history writers to cover up their sins and perform damage control
The then, indigenous people of the Americas were about as as Frosty the Snowman
Blessed by the spirit with 100 million people and great resources and beauty
The Europeans called it the New World
They did not ask what it was already called
They planted a flag, and said, I claimed this land on the authority of the king, who is divine rule, states that the king was sent here by God to rule the world
It is possible that someone was misguided?
Is it possible that everyone was misguided?
The only people in this scenario that were not misguided, were the indigenous people who thought that no one owned the land or water
    A settler colonial project ensued
    100 million people were exterminated
The ones that were left were taken from the lush, green lands full of fruits, vegetables and game, and were herded into concentration camps in the desert with the scorpions and the snakes
    There was nobody there
There was a holocaust in Germany during the Second World War™
People to not learn enough from the European hundred years war, or the first world war, and the powers that be were still performing the final solution to the bewildered heard when the people had bred above our food, allowance or rich guys wanted to reverse agrarian reform
Christian fascists also called Christian Zionists and Christian Zionism predates, Jewish Zionism, did not want to have Jews living amongst them anymore, thought they were dirty, inferior, and just did not like them. The Christian Zionist had a great idea.
They would ship the Jews to Palestine (named by England for the Philistines, who felt the same way about Jews as the English) that was a bustling hub of business and culture at the time
There was a great ethnic diversity, and there was peace
Then they wouldn’t have Jews in their neighborhoods anymore
3/4 of them would be killed by the people that already lived there and the other quarter would be converted to Christianity. They are by eradicating the problem of the Jewish people forever.
    There were a few problems
3% of the people that live there were Jewish
More than 1 million people already lived there
They had homes, neighborhoods, and families and cultures
    A settler, colonial project ensued
Over 1 million people were forcibly evicted from their homes and land
And untold number of them were exterminated
The Palestinians that lived were herded into a concentration camp during 100 years war
It started in 1917 and it’s still going on today
Palestinians were kicked out of their homes and new people moved in
    It was the first NAKBA
    THAT’S WHY THERE ARE INTAFADAS
The Palestinians still want their homes and olive Groves back
Some of those homes are still there
There are people who are alive who still remember
    The truth
Revisionist history is very convenient for the occupiers
What Hagel said, is that what we learn from history is that we don’t learn from history
I learned that from Chris Hedges
    Strawberry Fieldsforever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Why put up so much time, energy, labor and resources to defend this one project? Because it’s the soft underbelly of the entire project…” This explains it all in a nutshell! I keep wondering about this question when the US doubles and triples (etc) down on defending the Zi*nist state even as it gets more unhinged by the moment, and this makes so much sense at the deepest root of it all. I also loved your reminder to be grounded each day in spiritual practice, family, and community and to ask what can I do today to be a better person and contribute to building the movement. Thank you, I love this podcast 🌱

    Philosophy
    WHERE THE HERO DIES
    PaulTeich©️10/31/2023
A poem about a person who stands on a pulpit before a crowd
Condemning violence and confronting the lovelessness of the planet
This person is in the way of those who think they should be heroes
    Who are would be heroes?
And who have been manipulated by the powers that be to think they are doing the right thing
    All conflicts end in negotiation
So the actual conflict of death and pain is actually only a business opportunity
The powers that be don’t want to pass up
    Where the hero dies
It’s about the man who stands on the pulpit
Preaching peace and love and poetry
    Save the world
And is killed by the onslaught of those who think they should be heroes
Of those who think they would be heroes
    Of those would be heroes
Who have been brainwashed to think that
Killing a pacifist would be a good idea
Think that Pontius pilot was wrong
And perhaps Barbarus Would’ve been a better choice
    And another hero
    Not a would be
    Not a should be
As told by someone else to be
    But perhaps also there
Because they think God is on their side
    The side of peace,
    The side of love
    The side of poetry
    The side of pacifism
That, perhaps God has never been on the same side of a conflict where are two opposite warring factions that are the same?
    God is on their side
George Carlin asked could someone be mistaken?
Could someone be wasting their time?
    Could it be everyone?
    Where the hero dies
It’s not in the plane, shut down by the man who dropped the bomb
Where the hero dies is not behind the gun
And fax sending out projectiles for a mile
    That’s bullets by the way
Where the hero dies is not on the battlefield
    We have been misled
Where the hero dies is the pulpit
Where the person who preaches has been trampled by the soldier who has been manipulated to think that God is on their side
The preacher of peace takes the pulpit
And hunker down to save the world
At the same time, the misguided soldiers, who are simply making money for the man
And increasing stock prices, and dividends for the man
Are Manning up to kill anyone weaker than them
Instead of hunkering down to save the world
Where the dieses is where the person who has hunker down to save the world is trampled and murdered by those who have been manipulated and brainwashed to think that they should hate the sin and kill the sinner
And that is a very man up thing to do
They could also hunker down to hate the sin, but love the sinner
And worship the dove of peace instead of the eagle of war
Where the dies is where the philosopher statesman who hunkers down
To preach peace is actually shot to keep the profits up by the people who don’t actually know why they’re shooting
When politics becomes the shadow cast by big business over the bewildered herd
Profit, less peace replaced by raining war on our heads to increase the next quarter profits dividends and stock price shall return every quarter

Prayer and meditation…. Yes! Deeply needed now. As the crisis speeds up, we must slow down. “Look at the election cycle for what it is” - again, this is a key observation. Building beloved community outside of politics and the military industrial complex - which now owns much of academia and religion, as well as “health care” and popular culture - this is crucial.
The fundamental crisis is one of relationship, not one of technology.
