I've just purchased the full version of these Stefan, another great addition to my DCTL arsenal. I love how I can manipulate all the colors easily without destroying the skin tones. Another great product. Thankyou. Well Done.
Hi Stefan. I bought Hue Twist and love it. But I have one request: Can you combine all three -- Hi, Lo and Regular -- into one DCTL? It would make working a lot faster if I didn't have to jump between three different nodes.
Thanks for the feedback! Combining them into one DCTL is a great idea. I'll add it to my to-do list and see what can be done. Appreciate your suggestion!
I literally spent the last two days examining and testing creating these kind of color distortions and then see this video posted today, thank you! I felt like I was seeing these kinds of distortions happening based on saturation levels in film characteristics - the hues skewed as they approached higher saturations, but of course saturation and luma are intertwined. Maybe it would be possible to add an option to choose to twist based on saturation and/or luma thresholds?
I am thinking along the same lines and am also experimenting with ways to improve existing tools or create new ones. These tools should be intuitive and easy to use, but also provide more freedom during color grading. Building threshold sliders based on saturation seems like a good idea.
No, the Color Shift DCTL pack doesn't include the "Hue Twist" DCTLs. I'm in the process of adding a Brightness DCTL to the "Color Shift" pack, rounding it out to a total of ten DCTLs. Regarding the "Hue Twist", it's a specialized product in its own right.
Hello, thank you for your interest in my DCTL packs. I understand that it may be a bit confusing. In my online shop, the DCTLs are grouped into different packs, such as the "Color Shift" pack with 10 DCTLs, the "Hue Twist" pack with 3 DCTLs, and the "RGB Crosstalk" pack with 1 DCTL. You can buy each of these packs separately, depending on your needs and preferences. I hope this clarification helps! If you have further questions, please feel free to email me.
Hey @kcajay, I totally understand your point, but I find it really important to show examples both with color charts and normal footage. The charts help demonstrate how the tools work in a controlled environment, while real-world footage shows how they perform in practical use. That’s why I always make sure to include both in my videos. You can also download a free demo and test the tools with your own footage to explore how they work firsthand. Thanks for your feedback!
Your DCTLs are awesome! Just bought the $ 199,- pack. It's so great!
