When I was a nurse in the ER the ER doctors sometimes used a tiny bit of Propofol to put joints back into place, to help with the discomfort, not enough to make the patient unconscious, but we had to have a respiratory therapist at the bedside prepared to intubate if anything went wrong and as the nurse we had to have the patient on telemetry monitoring. This doctor deserved to be convicted, he shouldn’t be allowed near patients.

Exactly, and yet that drug should only be used in a hospital where there are ways to keep the patient from overdosing.

Why did the doctor tape michael talking? Did he think he could get something to use against him.?michael was murdered. That dr. Shouldnt have taped him, shouldnt have gave him so many drugs and then propofol. He had to know their could b an overdose.he got 4 yrs. He should have got at least 20 years. Michael had problems and people used that against him for profit.o yea while I'm at it his dad was an ass.

There unfortunately was many who wanted MJ dead because they wanted his transcripts, shares, fortune, money fame they wanted his life and all of the accusations made against him were simply to break him down and isolate him and make him hurt deeply inside and he knew about it, warned about it and even dropped clues left and right for years and years saying things like "I don't want to die in my sleep",or telling Janet that they were after him and he knew his life was in danger he was sad and repressed also fearing constantly that he was going to be killed and had an extremely hard time enjoying any activities leaving him out in the open and extra vulnerable people thought he hid because he was guilty of the horrendous/heinous things they were accusing him of, but it really was because he knew and feared and had a hard time trusting ones that were supposed to be close near and dear to him which probably had alot to do with his insomnia, and difficult time sleeping naturally so he took the advice and care of his Doctor put faith in the fact this man was a medical professional and probably was unaware of how dangerous and far this was to do, and they set it up like that to make it look like he overdosed and passed but the KING was sadly murdered so so sad and rediculous that it happened in the first place RIP YOU BEAUTIFUL SOUL MJ, I LOVE YOU 4EVER AND ALWAYS

My mom and I were standing right next to her and we asked what’s wrong?..she whispered to us because she said they were not allowed to talk about stuff like that during touring hours but she said “I just got word that Michael Jackson just died”…I will never forget that day.

Michael was definitely killed and Dr. Murray was made to look like the murderer but doesn't anyone wonder why he didn't get the 2nd degree murder charge. Instead he got involuntary manslaughter and that change came from a very powerful person. The detectives had the proof for 2nd degree murder charge so why not hit Dr. Murray with it.
Janet Jackson even says her brother was killed. Michael was worth alot more dead than alive. Record companies have insurance on all there big artist in case they die they get paid big time and that's not including the money they will make from record sales. It's a very shady business!!!

I worked for an oral surgeon as an assistant and propofol was used to put patients under. It worked really well because patients woke up and never had nausea or complications. I use to order everything the practice needed and after Michael Jackson’s death I had a hard time getting it from all the pharmaceutical companies. It was on back order for a long time. We had to order an alternative anesthesia, but it caused patients to wake up throwing up almost always so we then had to administer anti nausea medicine along with it. We use to say all the companies being out of propofol was because MJ bought it all. It was pretty crazy finding out he was being given it to sleep when it’s used for surgery!

Very dangerous to give this in a dentist office. Some patients will code, and CPR in these places do not do well. Most of these people will end up brain dead. If you need anesthesia to have a dental procedure, go to a surgical center or make sure you have an official anesthetist, with the proper equipment. In a dental office, I only take Carbocaine to avoid the Epi in most Novocaine injections as it will give me tachycardia. Great to slow the bleeding, but nothing a good suction cannot handle. I have had a lot of dental procedures and I only want these topical injections. No Nitrous oxide, nothing, just these shots.....in the mouth. It is absolutely sufficient and safe !

Until his death, your average person outside of healthcare wouldn’t have known if it was a medicine or a shampoo. When they said MJ asked for it specifically, I though, “Oh, you have not been served well by your doctors.” I would never, ever give Propofol outside of ICU, the ED or surgery, where’re you’re ready for a respiratory arrest. Not judging Michael, because it’s easy for what he was going through to happen. You have to realize that Michael had been taking essentially the Elvis cocktail every day, since the early 1980s after that Pepsi commercial and his head caught on fire. He liked how it made him feel like a kid again, and kept taking it. Back then, there wasn’t the stigma around those medication’s that there is today. They knew there was a chance for addiction, but the medical community wasn’t as knowledgeable as they are today about long-term abuse.
He would take oxycodone in the day to make himself feel good… And you know overtime that you have to take more and more to get the same outcome. They have never said how much of that medication he was on. We also don’t know what other kinds of pain medication he may have been taking. The problem with that medication, is when it builds up in your system and you have to take tons of it to get the feeling that you want… It also has the undesired side effect of essentially cocaine. Where, it can keep you from sleeping.
Elvis did the same thing. Took the same kind of medication’s in the daytime and then needed a cocktail of downers in the night time in order to get some sleep. The night that Elvis died, he had taken one packet of pills earlier in the evening. His packet of pills included, oxycodone, valium and a few other downers. Essentially what he was doing, was equalizing the effect of the Oxycodone, but not getting himself drowsy enough to sleep. Then, Elvis called one of his guys downstairs and had him bring up a second packet. The same pills all over again, just a few hours later. I believe the guy that brought him the medication said he brought him three packets that night.
As, it was Elvis’s way, or the highway. What Elvis wanted, he got, and if you opposed him… You would disappear from his life. Michael did the same thing to people. Now this probably wasn’t in his normal personality, but when you are talking about addiction… That is all that’s on their mind. The next happy moment. Essentially trying to feel like a carefree child again and hide from the negativities in life. It’s so odd to me that Michael and Elvis both essentially died the same way. The king of rock ‘n’ roll, and the king of pop. Both wanted to feel their best in life, but with that came the inability to sleep. For which then they would have to take other medication’s, benzodiazepines, to bring them down in order to get them tired enough to sleep.
The problem is, it can upset the sleep pattern, and ultimately, because of the amount of medication… Make it near impossible to sleep. So they were both always playing a game of tennis in their systems. Essentially burning the candle at both ends, and hoping that there is a happy meeting in the middle. And unfortunately, for both of them… it wasn’t the case. It was a struggle every day and every night. And in both cases, the doctors were absolutely at fault. They knew the very possible outcome that could happen, and chose to ignore it to appease both of them, in order to keep them as friends. Acquaintances.
Conrad Murray was near bankruptcy before he met Michael. His practices weren’t going well and he needed the money. I’m sure he also didn’t mind the attention from Michael and the adulation of others. Willing to put his client, Michael, at risk… In order to fill his bank account and Live out a fantasy. Elvis’s doctor had to know how dangerous the cocktail of medication he was giving him was. Just like Conrad Murray had to know the same with Michael.
It’s sad in both situations. But I guarantee if it wasn’t Conrad Murray, it was going to be somebody else. Same thing in Elvis’s case. Because everybody wants to live the rockstar fantasy. Be associated with people at the top of the entertainment industry. And in both of these cases, it not only destroyed the lives of these people… But ultimately led to their deaths. Sad.

That's how he went to sleep every night? A doctor signed off on this setup? That stuff is meant for surgeries. I remember having my tonsils taken out, it took me three times to fully wake up. I was 11, now I'm in my thirties and I've never been put under since then.
Even when the sutre ftom the surgery ripped open a week later. I was asleep when I could taste a metallic taste somewhere between a dream and consciousness. When I was finally fully awake, my bed was covered in blood. My mom had to shove lozenges down my throat to slow the bleeding. When I got to the hospital I was choking from the lozenge. The doctors had to first shove a suction hose down my throat, then they had to cauterize the wound down my throat. They didn't put me under as it was too dangerous they said. Seeing a flame like substance going down your throat is terrifying. But I was just relieved to have the bleeding stop.
Point of ny story is that trained professionals don't use anesthesia freely. It's dangerous, and like any substance, your body builds up a tolerance to it. So Michael needed more and more "milk" to help him sleep. That's insanity. This doctor is a sham, he betrayed his oath because he wanted the money.
Michael should've been saved from himself at this point. He was a patient, but he was hooked on things he shouldn't have had access to. Money and fame be darned.

      Souls, remember this verse:
      2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Which clears out the question(complains) that bible is man written, IT IS NOT.
Our sinful nature allows not to write any which were written into the bible.
Nor can any man see future, unless GOD has given him visions.
Therefore there is nothing else then just PRIDE of man which keeps them from reading and studying the bible (B.I.B.L.E - BASIC INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE LEAVING EARTH)
      Joel 2:28
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
      Acts 2:17
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
      Galatians 3:22
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
      Galatians 3:8
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Likely parental (demonic?) negligence had played quite a large role in "Michael's" insomnia for perhaps decades.
Ah can understand him needing to have his 'comfort doctor' abroad for personal reasons.
Otherwise it was career as "Micheal" had known it over. And that was mostly eVERYTHING to him, his fans and the myriad of systemic branches as well.
"Michael" was far from naive but perhaps either couldn't find or didn't try to find a more throughly suitable way of dealing with the 'power's, capital, demand and control of the society of the Western World or wHEREVER.
Doesn't seem this Dr had much of a conscience to put it lightly.
Surely this topic can go abundantly deeper and broader!
"RIP one who had brought us such earthly joy, Michael Jackson"***

@DEBRA DEVONNE Wake up! Yes Michael Jackson and all the Jackson 5 had a horrible childhood at the hands of their father and being pushed to be in the limelight, especially Michael. And Michael faced public criticism of his looks as he he went through puberty, an already turbulent and confusing time. The vitiligo and having to wear a wig due to scalp burns are things he could not help, but clearly he was psychologically a troubled man.
He sought out plastic surgeons that went way too far to the point of mutilation. And he sought out one of a handful of wreckless doctors that would give him unmonitored general anesthesia in his home every night for the right price.
Seeking and sticking to excellent mental treatment would not have cured the isolation and pressures of celebrity, but might have curbed his self destructive behavior. It also might have helped his image by improving his impulse control. Not all pedophiles act on their impulses. Note, I am not accusing him of any crime.
I am a huge Michael Jackson fan and think he was the most talented pop artist to have walked the planet. His death was a tragedy and ONLY his doctor is responsible. I just wish that his money had bought him a therapist he could trust. At some point we have to take responsibility for our own behaviors….RIP

Why did he pay them, so much money ? It is called blackmail or hush money. . Some of MJ's sisters and his mother said he was more into guys than girls. They knew it, from the start. As he appeared to be attracted to Diana Ross, he was certainly not into a normal marriage with Debbie Rowe. That was fake. Marrying Lisa Marie Presley was a publicity stunt to make people forget about the pedophilia case and Lisa Marie, was needing the attention. It worked out , for a while. MJ was not your average entertainer. He was a guy who was seriously abused by his father, as a kid and I doubt he ever got over it. These details are coming out now, clearing the air. The fact he was so talented seemed to always keep him afloat. I am sure he never did any harm to these boys as , in his mind, he was one of them, except he was also an adult man. What ever went on, that may not have been " legal " or "ethical" ; he was certainly, not hurting these boys. They all got rich, out of that time with him. It's a shame they went on to exploit him.

When Sony insisted that Michael take out a billion dollar life insurance policy before he gone on the tour, "This Is It," I thought to myself...his days are numbered. You might also want to check to see if he was paid anything from Sony

MJ would have found any doctor who was willing to give him what we wanted. Had it not been Murray it would have been another doctor

He served 2 years.. that’s less than the time it took to get my master’s. That’s wild. How was his license only suspended?

Well the guy knew, that Propofol IV can only be used during anesthesia, while under total control of an anesthesiologist or anesthetist. Using that, and leaving the room to make a phone call, is a poor excuse to cover his obvious design. Seems like someone had hired him to eliminate MJ and he did just that. Two years in jail is a slap in the face.
