I would give anything to have a sequel to Joker that takes place entirely in Arkham Asylum. We could see how Joker becomes the criminal mastermind by crafting an escape plan and meeting several members of Batman's rogue gallery in there without going too comic book-y. And we wouldn't even have to see Batman, just have a few mentions of him from the other inmates/patients.

@@TheReelHeel I know this had a TON of spoilers in it and I get that, and don't kill me for what I'm about to theorize about but I think with the exception of joker killing Murray, if u take that part out and the part where he suffocates his mother, that if DC would've dropped this trailer without those parts in it ppl would've lost their mind and STILL went to see it. Personally I know it would've caught my attention a lot more than the original trailer did but that's just my opinion.

It would have to be a very different interpretation than we've ever seen before, being as how this Joker is 30-odd years older than Bruce Wayne, and has made himself a cultural icon long before Bruce can don the cowl... A grizzled old psycho with a cult following up against a green, young Batman with a very personal grudge. Hmmm....

2. Even the director agrees that you can have several different interpretations of the movie, not just one, so the fact that you’re calling someone foolish and cringey for having that different interpretation is just not what the film is about. It’s you that doesn’t get it
