Great illustration of how to use strong groups to attack weaker groups - thank you - pretty sure o would have lost to that person getting too impatient

Very interesting game. That was a strong looking 3d. I know she left a lot of weaknesses behind, but another 3d would absolutely struggle to attack those well. They weren't WEAK weak.

The top-left joseki was extremely confusing with the unnecessary exchange pressing black down to the 2nd line (and losing sente).

Yeah, I think they really wanted a wall there to build but it’s hard to say that’s good

Since the ladder is working for Black, he should answer c4 from above at d4 and after white b4 just block at b3. White then has to block at e4 (as mentioned the ladder starting with d3 is not working and there is also no squeeze) and after black connects at d3 White has to play d7 (either right away, or after exchanging, c7, b5, b6, a4) so black not only gets more territory than in the game but also Sente. In addition, White's thickness is less than in the game.

Q1 for white lives at the end right?

I think black just connects and white only has one eye after it gets captured

@@tophandstrong no i think q1 for white there would also be dead after black throws in at r1, if white plays n1 instead of p2 it should be seki i think

@@contrabandgo How about N1 at the end position (instead of P2)?

      @@tophandstrong yeah, that's what I meant.

Instead of p1 white should play n1 herself to avoid the Nakade shape. It's not even Seki then because white has enough outside liberties to capture 4 stones. But m5 beforehand wasn't Sente, Black could have killed with r1 right away instead of answering at m6.
Btw. that's a strange coordinate System. Normally the letter 'I' is skipped, but Asian servers usually include it. But I never saw 'I' included but 'L' skipped.

Yeah, I probably could have played there a lot sooner, but did not feel I needed to.
