It’s not to say all parents don’t have the potential to instill confidence in their kids. There are many factors. But it’s a valid observation. Some parents could spend all their time at home (welfare, drug money, disability, stay at home parents) and still not do right by their kids. The parent has to have his or her own confidence to create a special bond.
It’s SO beautiful how Saylor looks exactly like her mother only w her father’s skin and hair color + texture . I love when kids look like a perfect mix of both parents
They've already been changing the formats to keep up with her as she aged, cuz I believe it's difficult to get kids invested in something something for very long. Maybe the family couch time podcast will run its course, but they'll find something to replace it with.
Funniest Poncast so far. Mom and Dad did not see any of this coming lol. But it was also nice to hear Zeth talk about how hard it is to find friends in your thirties who are growing their families and just want wholesome fun and connection. Finding people who have similar interests and values especially in California is brutal.
@@kelseenicole No doubt, Saylor’s facial expressions and verbal intonations are unbelievably perfect. 😍 I think one of my other favorites (besides NC move) is her making up the story about her man while she’s getting her nails done. “Babe..babe..” “Oh yeah, he does this to the kids every single day.” Whaaat. Absolutely hilarious.
as someone who was born and raised in Tampa, I promise you there are great one-off/family owned restaurants and cool hidden gems!! but I’ve also been in NC for 2 years now and it’s amazing, so I wouldn’t blame you if you decided to move here! ❤
As an NC native, I completely understand the sentiment; everything in FL is sooo far, I hate it…NC is good to move to if you want convenience and local spots/activities
I love how honest you guys are in this conversation, my husband and I are in a similar spot, we want to have friends and friends for our baby. We just have one kid so far though, we love our church though! Hope you can find those nice friends and that we can do too lol 😂 Sooo relatable! Sending big hugs from Fort Myers ❤
I think it's really good and I admire the fact that you too as parents do such a great job noticing certain personality traits of your children and knowing how different they are because with that showing me is that you're noticing that maybe your son may be considered as a homebody. And he doesn't like to go to different places he'd rather just stay home. And I also think it's great that you guys don't want to also prevent him from going out every now and then to kind of teach him how to adjust and how to step out of his comfort zone.
Born and raised on beachside in the Melbourne area. I raised my son 3 blocks from the beach. Surfing is all anyone does there lol I think you and your family would love living there!
Also as a 24 year old single girl with no kids it’s hard making friends! I can’t even imagine how harder it could be as parents! I totally understand where zeth is coming from though like you just want to find friends where the main connection doesn’t come from being parents, like that’s a bonus, but you want friends that you have alot of things in common with.
Definitely consider visiting North Carolina. I think you guys would have much more to do. There’s beaches like the Outer Banks and mountains and you also have a winter season with different things to do. I loooove North Carolina. You guys are blessed with the flexibility to choose. I am originally from Florida living in South Carolina and would love to move to NC if I had the choice.
My son was the exact same when he was Atlas' age. He is now 6 and I can't say it's better but I got too sick of sitting home. So we travel and do stuff. I need him to still have the experience.
Zeth: "How old do you think you have to be to have a boy?" Saylor: "I don't know 29 or something." Zeth and Jaylin: "True, that's perfect." Video evidence for when she's older!!!! 😂😂😂
My grandson is like that with his sleep starting at 3 months till now he's 13. He would stay up till 4 in the morning then wake up at 7. Finally started on small dose of melatonin. At age 4 years. It helped. Good luck. Love your family podcast❤
I understand what you’re going through with Atlas. I felt the same way with my youngest son (he’s 18 now, and wonderful, creative, witty, and a joy to be around) My oldest we could take anywhere, but my baby thrived on structure and routine. It was easier to just stay home with him ❤
I just moved from Florida to Washington state specifically whidbey island. I LOVE FL but after having my daughter it just wasn’t as family friendly in my opinion.. Washington state is unreal and this small town is very family friendly with so many events going for everyone in the family to enjoy ! It’s definitely worth the visit 😇
Local favorites near Melbourne: Wickham park (bike/onewheel trails and playground), Brevard zoo (kangaroo walk and kayak loop), cocoa beach (Ron Jons, rocket launches)
Happy 30th birthday soon!! I'm 38 and just moved my dad in with my fiancé and I. It's been pretty fun with his dog and two cats. Saylor and Atlas will have lots of fun with you guys when you're older. Reap the benefits of those seniors discounts! lol
We moved to Palm Coast FL four years ago. There's definitely a learning curve to living in Florida. We love the East Coast of Florida. Come visit Flagler County. Much love to you all
The west of Florida is more laid back. East coast I think would be better for a young family like yourselves. My son lives in North Carolina, near Charlotte, and loves it
My daughter went through the same thing once we tried to transition her to a big girl bed. We had enough room to fit the crib and the big girl bed. We started offering the option for nap time crib or bed? She started getting curious and after maybe two weeks of offering she started picking the bed. Baby steps.
I’ve lived in NC for 19 years of my 21 year life 🤣 and I have a few spots that I think y’all would love!! Black mountain Nc is a small town but close to Asheville NC (like 15 mins) and lots of local spots. Boone NC AMAZING. Lots of ski slopes. Local eating and fun activities for kids. The coast of NC (Southport/ oak island) one of my favorite spots. It’s where safe haven with Julianne Hough was filmed.
Hi guys! Love the podcast. My husband and I moved from So CA to Colorado but it’s not for us. We are considering North Carolina as our potential next spot. Please vlog when you go to NC! We are very interested but also never been. And we support PINDER for parents! So hard to make friends with kids!! We have a 2 year old and we just want to hang out with cool people with our family. Keep us updated with how you guys start to make friends in your area. Would love to hear your experience .
My 2nd child was similar to Atlas in the way that he would fight sleep when we were out an about visiting friends or just traveling. We discovered that a combination between being tuckered out and music use to put him down for the count at night. His song of choice was anything by johnny cash lol
North Carolina is great if you know the right places to go! There are tons of little quaint towns with plenty of charm that are close enough to more populated areas! And of course, we've got the mountains AND the beach! (And Bojangles lol)
I live on the treasure coast and there's so much fun stuff to do over here! I definitely think you guys should try a year over on this side and see how you like it ☺️
Speaking as someone who was born in CA and lived out west most of my life, NC is not great. I moved there for 2 years and I hated all of the forests. I hated the highway system. I never knew if I was lost in the forest or if Target was right around the corner. But they have one of the best medical systems around the Raleigh/Durham area. Nearly unmatched. They also have this boxyard place in Durham that has an amazing Korean bbq takeout joint. But if you live in the Raleigh/Durham area, you will be at least 2 hours from the beach, and 3-4 hours from the mountains
I totally feel you on the sleep training ! 😂 it’s been hell . now my daughter won’t leave the room & bother us but she’ll climb out & sleep on the floor casually.
Fully thought Jaylin was flipping the bird at the end i had to do a double take lol *psst* NC has beaches 👀 Wilmington is great as a surfing city. my mom is from there and i grew up on that beach!! w the way saylor lives in y’all’s pool i bet she would love it
If you’re going to stay in Florida, please consider Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, Melbourne area. You will definitely find like minded people with children your age. I take my granddaughter to the local library toddler programs and meet families just like yours!
“Complete menace” 😂😂 Also u should move to colorado i think you would like it lots of small towns raising kids and you see every one walking around everyday and everyone knows eachother
Maybe you guys would like St Augustine? I’m from Southern California and my husband is from Florida. I felt like that Encinitas artsy beach vibe that made me feel at home. And the kids would love the Alligator farm!
Yeah Melbourne/Space Coast getting overcrowded too. And no Traders Joes in Melbourne , only Orlando n Jacksonville! :Yeah u guys haven't been thru category 5 hurricane yet.....Tampa floods........n don't go south St Lucie and south is so congested! Plus you have to drive hours to get out of this darn state! I am east coast just below Melbourne!
The sassy snap and planning a future with her man on her OWN land, in a big house. 😂
“I am livin with my MAAAAN in North Carolina” lmaooo Saylor is hysterical 😂😂😂
She's the cutest thing ever. She looks exactly like Mommy but with Dad's hair!
That's not her biological mom... More power to her!!!
@@CrystalElaine-m7kyes it is her biological mom
@user-yj3uz4dw1i that is 100% her bio mom. Are you new?
It is her bio mom tho 😅 @@CrystalElaine-m7k
Wtf are you talking about? God pls give me the understanding why people would say things like that.
This is what elite parenting looks like...way to spend quality time with your child and instilling in het the confidence to express herself.
Confidence and emotional availability…
And not all kids will have the personalities or aptitudes the parent desires. I think this is more an issue of past generations.
Complete menace is crazy 😂2:14
I lost it when she said that 😂
I love the way she follows the conversation, but can’t help bringing up topics when she thinks of them.
lit-erally
I love how chill they all are. No pressure to perform
It’s SO beautiful how Saylor looks exactly like her mother only w her father’s skin and hair color + texture . I love when kids look like a perfect mix of both parents
woah lol she is her dads twin all the WAY. ATLAS is his mom's.
i hope saylor doesnt get sick of the podcasts when she gets older, shes hilarious
Yeah...been thinking abt that lately
They've already been changing the formats to keep up with her as she aged, cuz I believe it's difficult to get kids invested in something something for very long.
Maybe the family couch time podcast will run its course, but they'll find something to replace it with.
"You used to put shiny things on roofs of houses" - Saylor is adorable!
Funniest Poncast so far. Mom and Dad did not see any of this coming lol. The Carolinas debate had me in tears 😂 the offended faces and cackles every time Saylor tried to move further away is hilarious. Favorite podcast 😂
😂
West Carolina 😂
@@kelseenicole No doubt, Saylor’s facial expressions and verbal intonations are unbelievably perfect. 😍

Love it when you say you both of you will move wherever she moves. You both, as a couple, make me happy. You’re a permanent team.
Seth you’re right. Family
I’m so impressed with you as a family man, a dad. A husband. Pretty special.
8:57 the relief on there faces in this moment 😂🤣😂🤣
"29 or something" had me dying 😂😂 she's sooo cute and smart omg
The way I choked on my breakfast when she said she is moving to the Carolinas with her MAN!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Charlotte
"I dont even remember everyone i told! I need to call them back!"
When Jaylin said farewell in High Valyrian I lost it

Don’t be a prisoner because of a toddler! It’ll be OK.

My nephew was a lot like how you describe Atlas. He'd stay awake for the whole 16-hour trip from north Missouri to San Antonio, Texas.
I think it's really good and I admire the fact that you too as parents do such a great job noticing certain personality traits of your children and knowing how different they are because with that showing me is that you're noticing that maybe your son may be considered as a homebody. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Saylor saying mom turning 30 is old..she's gonna need a cane😂😂😂❤ Love her
What you guys were talking about is 100% what Bumble BFF does. You can filter out non parents! Literally exactly how you described! Give it a shot!
Hahah who in the house says "complete menace"? Where did Saylor get that?! 😂
fr i can’t get enough
my bet is on Jaylin refering to Atlas cause little boys are complete Menaces lol
I'm pretty sure Zeth has called Atlas a menace in previous videos while talking with Saylor
I am also a mum turning 30 in August. Happy birthday Jaylin!!! Hope you have a beautiful day with your fam, celebrating all you have achieved so far!

"29 or something?" followed by the "true" lol
She is way beyond her years and absolutely gorgeous
🎉❤ her mind is amazing 🤩
This kid is genius! The sass with clicking her fingers that parents have no idea where she's learnt!
This part of every parents life is a learning process.
My kids couldn't have been any different.
You will figure it out ✌️
Jaylin’s taste in books and shows is EXACTLY the same as mine! 😊 The “Dragon Show” - hahaha! 😂
Same! 😂
I love when I get a notification that you guys uploaded! 🎉
