Odd coincidence. I'm in the middle of making a bone folder out some antler I have been holding into for this. Decided to check my subs, and this video pops up. Here I was ready to stop at 400 grit. Then hit some polish, but makes sense to go further with sandpaper.

Same here. I made one from a beef bone which involved cooking the bone, splitting and rough shaping, then soaking it for 2 weeks in white spirit to remove the fat. Great project
