Absolutely gorgeous instrument, very heavy Warwick sound. It looks like the charge port for the preamp is a USB-micro, and you should really consider switching to USB-C since it is better in essentially every way, and has become the standard for all other chargeable gadgets. If I were to buy one of these, it would be the only electronic device in my house that doesn't charge with USB-C.
Great Point! This is something we already have in mind, and we will change it to USB C at some point. We don’t want to produce unnecessary waist, so we will use off the electronic boards we still have. A new Version with USB C Charging Dock is already in development.

The more I see the Streamer LX, the more I think I want my next bass to be a Streamer LX. 20 years ago, when I ordered my Corvette Proline, it look me a long time to decide between the Corvette Proline and the Streamer LX, and I've always wanted a Streamer LX, as well.
Hi there! Yes, our MasterBuilt models all come with the charging USB port and lithium batteries and also the Custom Shop instruments have that feature if requested. The lower price range models feature an easy access compartment cover for changing 9V blocks.

If you're interested in a Warwick Custom Shop instrument, you need to send an E-Mail to info@warwick.de to place an order. You can order an identical instrument but can also change the specs to your liking. The article number for this bass is 21-4281 (please include this in your mail for direct reference). I'm surprised it's not rechargeable via usb-c. Micro usb-a is completely outdated. Bass is still gorgeous, especially the fretboard design
