It was a tough one but I did pick A over B by a hair in my original comment to the video. I wish I could afford the custom shop one! Great video and guitar playing as always.
Proof that most players don't know what original vintage guitars sound like. Worse yet, when dealers are trying to sell vintage LP Specials, notice how they aLL will use a distortion pedal to "give it a little push"......and change the real sound of the bridge pickup. Devious, devious, devious.
(-: dann lag ich schon 2 mal richtig....bin eigentlich kein verfechter von alten klampfen aber in beiden videos gefällt mir die alte besser vom sound. habe es immer über meine studio monitore angehört. so oder so immer toll gespielt!
yes the people are right... the Copie sounds better than the original.... I suppose it has something to do with the Pick ups.... but.... the wood coundn t also be bad by this new Guitar..... I ve heard other guitar s... other comparisons.... and the result was in the other direction
Hi there, i believe people are influenced by your face expressions. You seemed to enjoy very much guitar A. I personnaly found guitar B was the vintage one: more twang more roundness,… simply better sounded
Tones and playing to die for ! I watch all the Ten guitars videos just to hear Michael play 😅
Haha, thank you so much!
Don't be disappointed. You own a phantastic original 56 (and you have the chance to buy the Custom Shop). And your playing is phantastic too.
Holy fuck you gave those guitars such justice!!!!
Great playing......my goodness!! I liked the brighter tone of the CS '15. Thanks for this very good A/B............excellent.

Soulful playing! Really nice!
Beautiful playing!!!
I may be imagining but the original guitar seems to have more bite. They both sound great!
I like the sound of the newer one because it’s a little fatter. But the older is just as good, just more vintage sounding. Great video
.... yes... always a pleasure.... great player... like it
very good comparison!
but he is such a great player... drives out the best of each guitar

The old one has a lightning tailpiece fitted which probably has an effect.

Regardless- your original LP Special is still worth more than the CS version. In a track who could tell the difference anyway. P90 love.
Well.... in my opinion the old 1956 model sounds much more in balance.
what’s the amp/gear for the test
It's a Fender Hotrod Deluxe with a Vahlbruch Kaluna in Front. Effects are the built in reverb of the amp and a T.Rex Replica Delay
You are wrong sir. Most thought b is the vintage..check the results on your video. Me included!!!! B has a sweater tone to it.

A looks flat sound, plastic sound. B have more harmonics and best wide range
Of course I guessed the B
I was right. CS sounds better than vintage

Who really cares buddy. Great playing. Cheers.
