I LOVE her. I saw her in 99 on her Supposed Former tour, when she toured Asia for the second time. Stayed back after the show with some friends and we did see her come out and get into her van. She was so obviously tired, but she found energy to smile and make faces through the windows and wave. It so nice to see how sweet she was, even with her looking so tired. My 16 year old heart loved her even more after that. Alanis, just amazing.

My whole childhood in one voice!! God how good were the 90’s! I missed the 80’s because I was born 91 but the memories of being in a beat up old Ford Fiesta with my mum, Alanis being played on every station, mum smoking roll ups in the car and the smell of the stale smoke in the car on a hot day whilst I didn’t realise it some really amazing music on every station driving for hours on end with her meeting up with lots of her friends and their kids for mass gatherings pretty much every week ... people don’t get together like they once did but just the whole vibe of it then says there were the greatest days of my life and I just didn’t know it, same as most of us. You never know how good a moment was until it’s passed and you can look back and say yeah that was a great time. I think after the tragedy of 2001 that’s when the world changed for me, security went through the roof you didn’t feel like you was free anymore, internet and technology divided us as a race and then the demise of talented musicians and quality music in the charts... I think that’s how decades are defined by the quality of the music at the time, so far 2000 to 2010, 2010 until now.... not really had a defining music sound, apart from any winehouse I’d say she’s been one of the only talented people in 21 years... that’s just my opinion though for what it’s worth ❤️

I just realized, when Alanis Morissette sings, instead of lowering her jaw to open her mouth she lifts the upper part of her head and keeps her jaw still
