Spot on fellas! Good tips and advice, especially for young folks that can't afford the 87 dozen, a trailer, etc., etc. The one thing I'd add to speak to variety is throwing out a few shoveler drakes. Doesn't take a bunch. I keep 3-4 in my 12-18 deke portable bag. Shovelers show up everywhere and they are highly visible. Just a thought. They also work good on the jerk string since they are mud-bug hunters and stir up a lot of water. Good on ya, Fellas!
If you haven't already, please do a video on decoy spread patterns
Your content with this videos is damn sure helpful!
Thank you!
Whats your preference on hiding? I'm from northwest Kansas and it's usually hard to hide in some of the places we find ducks! What would be your ideal blind/cover set up
use a layout blind. you can hide them just about anywhere that there is a little bit of brush. or if it snows its even easier to hide with a snow cover
Are your game winners the promo mallards or the normal carvers edge ones?
I always take a jerk string out with me. Ads movement to the spread.
WA outdoorsman. When u hunt with a dog they get tangled in it
Can you do a review on the game winner decoys
one thing I do when I'm hunting in a pit blind for example or anytime I have water behind me as well as in front is i'll bring about 4 or 5 extra and pit them behind me
I would love to hunt out of a pit blind! It looks like it rocks
Kansas Fisherman it's fun as hell. You can cook inside without worrying about anything
Do you have any dips for river hunting?
What tips do you have on the rig em rights as far as weight and length
This will be my first season of waterfowl hunting and i am lucky that my boss is a hard core waterfowl hunter he as 15 dozen decoys and he really knows his shit.
and im stackn and stackin $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
why do u want the wind at your back can u explain I'm new to duck hunting
+D.J. Thomas waterfowl always land into the wind
Kansas Fisherman thanks that was really helpful big fan of your channel
The More decoys you put out the move calling you need to have and a jerk string just don't have a dead spread with no movement jerk string and the more decoys you put out the more you need people on a call just my two cents
just depends at the time of the year
you didn't even talk about mojos
what
you guys don't use robo decoys? mojos?
I didn't make the video😂
42 aint crap. I guess your the guys hunting next to us that we out limit with our 16 dozen spread, smh at yall. take this video down, false info
ok maybe not 42 but 60-70, still.....
Hunter Chevaillier really you need sixteen dozen do some research more isn't always better
well your the same type guy then. Yes 6-12 decoys is good late season, and 3-10dozen is no good. But no duck evers seen 16 dozen decoys...
me and my buddys kill our limit every time we go hunt over 24 decoys no matter late season or early season
