Acid Reflux sucks, I have it. If she’s fussy, keep her upright more. Laying down only makes it worse. Hope it all works for little Poppy.

My granddaughter had severe refux and she is on Nexium before her first morning feed. It has worked fabulously but holding her up for 20 min after each feed does help. It's horrible to watch the discomfort in causes. Message me if you want more info. You guys are great and I feel like Poppy is one of my grand children. Hugs from South Africa.

We had the same reflux with our babe. Gerbers probiotic drops and cutting out dairy helped us a lot! Good luck mama, you guys are doing great!

Our pediatrician said most babies get sent over the edge when they check their ears 😆 my 2 year old will scream and cry as soon as his get touched but everything else he loves 😂

Poppy is just the cutest!! My niece had terrible reflux when she was a baby. Partly due to a heat condition but also we found she was intolerant to something in the milk/formula. We put ‘wedges’ in the crib to keep her head elevated when she laid down, tried formula that was easier to break down and slower feedings/smaller nipple sizes. My niece was on meds for the first few years and it helped immensely! Y’all will find what works best for you and her.

My daughter naturally grew out of her acid reflux after just a couple months! Hopefully Poppy does as well 💕

Omg Poppy is so cute🥺 I hope you guys are doing well! There’s also some naturopathic ways to help w/ acid reflux. I have it, had it since I was a baby as well, definitely stop by anywhere naturopathic and local they can always help before resorting to meds :)

I was an extremely hard baby/toddler because I would throw tantrums and shriek and everybody used to look at us in the store. So Poppy's outburst was like me on a daily basis 😂

Abbey you are soooooo spoiled or loved or both! Lol 💗
I work with a pediatric GI doctor! We see tons of babies with reflux!
Some things that may help:
-eliminating dairy/soy from maternal diet
-keep her with her left side down (helps with stomach emptying)
-keep her upright after feeds for at least 20 mins
Reflux usually starts to worsen in infants around 2-4 months and then plateaus and resolves around 4-6 months!
Also guessing the doc gave you guys famotidine (Pepcid), which helps with reflux and stomach emptying as well.
(Not medical advice just some tips!)

Prop her up in bassinet. You can add a pillow under bassinet. Not under her but under the mattress. It helps with reflux
The thumbnail was amazing
My son had acid reflux as soon as he was born and it got better once he started walking. He also took medicine as a baby and after feeding him it helped if we left him upright for at least 30 minutes before laying him down. Hope this helps!💕

Abbie you should try to put Poopy's head higher that her body when she sleeps it could really help her. I had the same problemes and my mom used to do it and it worked!
