In the Michigan case it's the old 'I took her to the shooting range' trick, not to get the gun residue on her hands but to teach her to defend the home,....this attorney was not as smart as he thought he was.

Listen to the highly seasoned criminal investigator who interviewed him in prison who has said on more than one occasion that Russell was, without exception, the most pleasant, charming conversationalist he had ever met in his whole life. Perhaps he told victims that he was undercover in a hushed tone like he was confiding ONLY in them and they felt flattered by his "trust" in them.

It is surely a red flag! I'm just pointing out why other people might have had a harder time being as perceptive as you are. He was a regular at these night spots and was a familiar face i.e. had accumulated a record of safe interactions with many patrons. Of course many of his listeners had had a couple of drinks while they were listening and they were out for the evening to relax, perhaps after a long stressful work week, wanting to unwind and be friendly to others...this man picked the perfect setting; one in which people's guard is dropped substantially, both chemically and psychologically. Perhaps also he seemed particularly "safe" because he was a " police officer"! Very intelligent crafty killer who carefully cultivated a regular hunting ground!

The narrator Gene Galusha has such a soothing voice. Some of the narrators these days could learn a lot about voice modulation, tone, neutrality and delivery from professional voice over actors like Gene, Peter Thomas (Forensic Files) and Bill Kurtis (Cold Case Files): all of them masters at their craft.

Last month, about 2 am I heard a noise downstairs. I went downstairs to see what it was. I heard a man's voice, he was mad and cussing, while stomping on something. I yelled, what the hell are you doing? Get out of my house. He ran out the backdoor. I called the cops. They caught him down the road. He had done the same thing in other houses. He always got mad whenever he saw a box of cornflakes. He would cuss and stomp on the box of cornflakes. Yes, that's right, he was a serial cereal killer.

This story of Leann who was murdered by her husband is horrible. He is pathetic and disgusting for having an affair with a judge knowing his wife was pregnant with his third child. And this judge who, in my opinion, didn’t look being 32 years of age when I watched this episode on Forensic Files, testified against her lover to save her own skin and not being implicated in the murder. Leann husband and the judge were both disgraceful. I am glad he is in prison for what he did. A real pathetic guy who has no respect for his wife. And the judge should be ashamed of herself having an affair with a man she knew was married, sending him nude photos of herself with explicit sex talk through emails not mentioned in this show. Shame on both of them, they make me sick to my stomach.
